Matthews is 29 and Rogers is 27. I wouldn’t turn either away. Perhaps they aren’t looking to come back to the CFL, but both were stars and now FA . Doesn’t hurt to explore

I truly believe Demski is a done deal, but is there anyone else out there we’re hearing is likely to come here? I’ve read conflicting reports of whether or not Chris Matthews is still with the Ravens or a FA? Darren Cameron had been keeping in touch with him. I wonder if he still is.

Maybe when Bauming says that Walters wants to make a “BIG Splash” in FA he’s referring to Laurent. He and Nevis up the middle would definitely plug it up and create great push back.

Bang on. I know some may say Green is past his prime, but we heard that the past two off seasons. I’ve seen no hint of decline and don’t think we would with him on a team with Adams, Dressler, and Demski ?. Sherritt is a bit a question for me and not sure if Bear Woods would have any interest in coming to WPG. I’d be very happy regardless with any of those MLBs.

Coombs could if he was a FA, but I think Demski could be utilized as a utility player. Harris, Flanders and Demski (with Lapos creativity)would be pretty scary for a defensive coordinator

Ya it would be nice if the club’s scouting staff could bring in a half decent up-and-comer that we could get excited about. Hopefully the clubs biggest signing of the off season is Ryan Rigmaiden.

I’m pretty sure Durant hasn’t been lighting things up either. Yes he won more games last season than Davis and Lefevour... A whopping three wins. IMO all 3 are pretty meh. I’m sure better options will present.

They may not have shown much, but they know Lapos system better. I’m far from satisfied with either, but Durant showed he is done. I agree our scouts need to be finding 2or 3 guys that have the potential to take over for Nicol’s in the next couple years. If you let both Davis a Lefevour go and Nicol’s goes down you’re screwed.

Let “The Fever” and Davis fight it out for back-up and see what you have in TC for third stringer . Curious if the club has anyone interesting on the neg list that they could possibly bring in .

Demski and Coombs would suffice for me.

It would be nice to be able to get both as our CDN receivers. Demski has said before that he would love to play with the Bombers one day and Coombs said in an interview with Irving that he always dreamed of playing in Winnipeg. It would probably take a lot to pry him out of Toronto though.

Can’t wait til free agency. Are both Coombs and Demski free agents?
