  1. Get that geriatric ass to Fort Hew tonight!
  2. Hopefully they brought an extra Canadian on the trip and perhaps Murphy draws in as backup receiver?
  3. Yeah, I was just curious if we actually benefited from the command center missing something for a change. Not that it made the difference in the final score, and it was a sensational catch to say the least.
  4. Did anyone else think that Lawler's second TD catch (another spectacular one) hit the ground and could have or perhaps should have been called incomplete? It was a phenomenal play and I'm obviously glad it was ruled a TD but I wonder if we benefited from the Command Center not taking a closer look, or if he had sufficient control even though the ball hit the ground. Like I said, a phenomenal effort either way
  5. I'll take a different tack here. That was such a team win. The only players that stuck out in a bad way were Bonds getting beat by Lewis repeatedly and Haba over pursuing and blowing contain on that long 3rd down catch. And Willie was somewhat invisible. But the whole team played so well. With that said... 1. ZC with the 6 TDs, no turnovers, a bundle of yards and a few deep shots on the money. Was so pleasing to watch what is still possible for him. 2. Lawler balling out. I'd still take Schoen over him as Lawler can be hot and cold while Schoen seems more consistently excellent. But Lawler when he's on hits levels other receivers can't. 3. Demski and Brady with clutch TDs featuring YAC. HH Garbutt with a sack and a fumble return TD. Kramdi stellar on run stops. The D on the whole.
  6. In before the inevitable loss. In before Damian Jackson gets signed at the last minute and added to the active roster
  7. Went to the press box to start practicing the NCAA video game so he could challenge the Ford brothers
  8. 1. Jones with the best MLB game we've seen all season. He missed a couple tackles but it was far outweighed by his positive and difference making plays. The turnovers are obviously the highlights but one solo tackle where he stood Brown up in the hole really stood out for me ... as an example of the type of play Bighill used to be able to make. Great pickup. Edit: I forgot that tackle was actually Gauthier's. 2. Brady for obvious reasons. Glad to see him get his TDs and break out the chicken box (I must learn more about this!) 3. Wheatfall (I think) caught everything thrown his way and cleared out space for Wilson's TD. I like him in the slot. HH. Clercius is a stud as a big possession receiver. Collaros take of the week -- it occurred to me that our offense has been playing better since he started to take on more of a game manager role vs being the world-beater of 2021 and 2022. And we are better for it. I love seeing him scramble for positive yardage and first downs. In 2019 he was more of a game manager than the MOP of 2021/22, and if that's what he can do now I'll take it rather than him trying to hit the long balls and turning it over. Praise to him for adapting.
  9. LFG! May that we see a Ford from Ford pick 6 on the way to a win.
  10. This is looking pretty good aside from the thin DL. I wish we'd added Adams and Hubert back in or at least one of them. Hubert over Charbonneau or Noah Hallett, as wbbfan mentioned above. And would Adams be better roster usage than the 4th American linebacker in Ayers or Griffin at this stage (in addition to being better usage than Randolph)?
  11. He had that one two TD, multiple reception game where he scored twice running a pick with the goalpost. And never was heard from before or after. I feel like he could have been something if properly developed. Nick Moore is another that comes to mind. The signing never paid off on the field as he couldn't stay on the field but I think that signing demonstrated we were a place that some top FA talent wanted to be.
  12. I remember when Butchko requested permission from the board to fire Mack and instead was also let go himself. Wade taking on the President role turned our franchise around. And if I recall correctly, one of the big factors in keeping Walters as GM was that there wasn't a lot of time to prepare for the Ottawa expansion draft and so his familiarity with the roster was key.
  13. I can't imagine the grief of Bills fans (and Marv Levy) after 4 losses in a row. At least we had our 2 wins first. But were they as hard as Cornelius throws?
  14. I've been saying that Zach has regressed to his mean before his resurgence and these stats (thanks for compiling them!) eerily show that may be the case. But he's our QB and has been showing signs of life that will hopefully persist in the home stretch and playoffs.
  15. May that we see a Ford to Ford interception!
  16. Plus all the moaning about how Demski should have been called for OPI on Lawler's TD. Like there was contact with the DB for sure but Demski continues running his corner route and gets open.
  17. Is Ford our DPOY at this stage in the season?
  18. Yeah. I still wish he was more precise on his shots -- a couple overthrows from what I could see at the stadium that, if on the money, would have blown the game open. But while he had misses I didn't see mistakes today. And his slide on our final drive was very smart. I'd give him a B+ or so today which is about his high water mark right now.
  19. ☝️ is the definitive answer. Oh man, the green dishonour is really embracing him.
  20. Agreed. On their "Starting Lineup" social media posts they don't include the changes whereas in the older style depth charts (PDF and then image) they do. I wish they'd include the changes on both since they more actively share the Starting Lineup images
  21. Given the commitment to having a Canadian on the DL, I'm surprised that they haven't brought in Kongbo or Mason Bennett. Or are both of them done / injured?
  22. While it's true that a tiebreaker is very unlikely because of their tie, winning on Saturday would effectively be a 4 point swing for us in the standings (in addition to hopefully crushing their green heart)
  23. 1. Castillo with the winning points by FG and kickoff single. 2. Wolitarsky with some clutch catches. 3. Collaros with a solid half a side from one poor interception HH. The wind on the final play. Awe douchebag award is obviously the cheap shot on Zach Amateur hour yet again -- CFL officiating
  24. Or earlier than that, from Favre to Rodgers in the first place, or even earlier, from Montana to Young. Plus it wouldn't even be Collaros vs Brown, but rather Collaros + the fifth round pick we got for Brown vs. Brown + the asset we would get for Collaros (and I assume more than a 5th round pick) + the cap space to sign another impact player.
  25. Yeah when our base O is max protect and we lose two OL we're in big trouble. I expected them to bring out Thomas or another DL as an emergency TE. I don't get why we didn't use Streveler as an H Back once Wallace went down. My 3 stars... 1. Bonds is money 2. Castillo made every kick in a game where we needed every point 3. Brady with 120 on the ground and some clutch yards and blocks on the game winning drive HH. Collaros in the last 1:38. I've been so critical of him this year but he showed out there playing with guts and intelligence. On the other hand, we're in trouble with the Collaros of the other 58:22
