  1. Because Ottawa jumped the gun and axes someone asap? Come on Iso, you're better then this.. Hey SPuDs, I guess I want to see some changes & not the status quo. I really do believe changing the coordinators needs to be done. I'm actually concerned it will be status quo coordinators wise going into training camp. What's your thoughts? My thoughts are that this happens every year. Every time another team makes a move, you use it as an opportunity to complain that the Bombers are not. How about we just discuss the move Ottawa made instead of using it to take potshots at our management? The smart move would be to not make a move until there is someone better and ready to sign before they let go of anyone.
  2. I never said Desjardins was smart.
  3. You beat me to it. Well it's not like we didn't see that coming. Although I figured Campbell would be on the chopping block too. Might give him another year to turn it around.
  4. 5 BC 5 Sask 7 Calgary 9 Edmonton ...1 Wpg
  5. It's well deserved.
  6. Why did we? Rookie GM & HC. Money perhaps as bringing in experience is expensive? The Bomber organization loves to save money... We know that. Just sayin'. That doesn't explain Ottawa though. Desjardins seems to think money poops out his butt. What the heck- its not Desjardin's money and there are those who believe that you can buy a championship- like Bruce McNall, and it does work once in awhile. Yes I know it's not Desjardins money. Since when is it ever the GM's money? You don't have to take me so literal. The point I was trying to make is that Desjardins was not behaving like he had a long-term stake in the team's future. If you expect to be in for the long run, you tend to be a good deal more careful. Ah sorry, I gotcha now. Yeah, I agree. He's like a magician. He's distracting you with one hand "oooo look we got Henry Burris" while scamming you with the other. Makes it look like he's doing something big and spectacular, but in truth he's just spending all their money in the wrong way and probably screwing the team in the long run. That guy just wreaks of slimballiness.

  9. The realistic situation would've been Burris to Winnipeg, Willy to BC and Glenn stays in Ottawa. Ew Actually, this is so horrid, it deserves an ew gif...

  11. Dude, do you mind. The grownups are talking. Psshh...kids. Think they know everything.
  12. Read the last post on the previous page. Already posted the tweet.
  13. That's what I'm thinking. Only way a HC goes back to being an OC is if no one wants him as HC anywhere. And I could see Ottawa scooping him up if he were to be fired.
  14. CFL Official Feed ✔ @CFL Scott Milanovich expects to captain the @TorontoArgos ship again next year. http://on.cfl.ca/E3FKF #GCPlayoffs pic.twitter.com/7s2rtnVxoq He's not coming here so let's move on from Milanovich.
  15. Is a quote from someone??? Cuz it's just plain wrong... Cutler, Forte, Bennett, Marshall, Jeffery.... they have some of the best offensive weapons in the NFL... Defence is a different story though... How is Cutler on that list of "offensive weapons"? He's an average QB at best. I don't know why they're paying him that much money for playing so mediocre.
  16. Desjardins made some stupid picks and some good ones. Then he had a starting QB and screwed him over by grabbing Hank. I feel for that city, but I agree, with Desjardins at the helm they pretty much kicked themselves in the foot. They need to fire him and bring on a decent GM that will help that team out. Giving more to that team wouldn't have done anything.
  17. Yes, but now you're getting to this:
  18. Same way we won against Saskatchewan at the Banjo Bowl last year.
  19. No matter how many times I hear this song, I laugh... http://youtu.be/dEGCdVADLWY
  20. SHUN THE NON BELIEVER!!!!! SSSSSHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNN!!!!!!!
  21. I missed some of it cause someone was talking to me, but it was basically fluff as far as I'm concerned. He wouldn't answer what the number 1 issue was or anything that would put someone in the spotlight, probably so that someone like a coach or a player isn't aware he's about to be let go from a presser. He pretty much glazed over any questions like that. Said Mike was a good coach and that Willy and Lirim were the best players they saw from this season.
  22. This is just a presser.
  23. OMG I don't want to be stuck with those two goobers for the next year. UGGH! If I had to pick one of the two to boot though, I'd kick out MB. His offensive schemes are terrible and always have been. If Etch can change his D to a more conventional one, and get some bigger guys in there, then I'm ok keeping Etch...although I'd rather not have him.
  24. I agree. If we can find someone better, both of these bozo's need to go. As far as the rest, it's hard to say. Is Buck a good RB coach or is Cotton just amazing? I really didn't see any big changes to Grigsby, so did Buck really do a good job? Same goes for the receivers coach (don't know his name, just know we have one). Our receivers didn't really bang one out of the park (except for our very few good players like Denmark, JFG, Kohlert, who were already solid), so did he do his job and help them or did we just have a few bad receivers? It's hard to say with the positional coaches unless you're actually working with the team.
