One of the worst articles I've ever read. How can he expect any CFL team to compete with an NFL team? Ridiculous. I just finished reading his tweets. That guy is a complete moron. As if you're going to sign a guy that wants to go to the NFL BEFORE he gets a chance to go down. Hmm...let's see...$600K starting salary or $150K to stay in winter wonderland...HHHMMMM....That's a tough one. And the people that follow him are just as stupid. One guy said that no one wants to sign here because we have no DC in place. Umm...didn't we just sign Etch?

He should have at least traded his rights to an NFL team and got SOMETHING for the guy, now he's lost him for nothing. You can't trade his rights to an NFL team. It's not allowed. His previous track record, along with significantly overpaying for Burris, suggest differently. Guy spends heavily on CFL-expereinced QB's; regardless of impact on roster. Jury's out on Walters. Yesterday I was super-pissed about losing out on Burris. I'd still be super-pissed to lose out on him anywhere under $400k. But he's been made the 2nd highest-paid in the CFL at 39; and for 3 years. I think I'd be more pissed if it was on our payroll. He was the best QB option. Sign his prima-donna ass to an unfriendly contract and then cut him/re-neg him in the offseason. Henry is happy -- he makes a bucket of money for his (last) year. We're happy -- we have a real QB to win a few games and take pressure off Willy. And we look like we're in it to win it. Now we look like loveable losers, except for the loveable part. Yeah, and if you can't find his replacement, then what? You're stuck paying him another boatload of money.

I was one of the people who was tired of Glenn and his inconsistency. But looking back, I wish we had just kept him this whole time. I never knew it could get this bad.

So on CJOB this morning there was a clip of Desjardins saying that they're ready to go into training camp with both QB's, buuuut, if someone wanted to trade a good commodity for Glenn they wouldn't be opposed to it. And there, ladies and gentlemen, is the hitch we all kind of already figured he'd do.

This is a typical knee jerk reaction of the public. Something bad happens, therefore we should over-react to it. I may be sad/unhappy/let down, that Burris and Collaros didn't sign here, but that doesn't mean I'm gonna run around like a chicken with it's head cut off in a panicked state throwing money at some QB who hasn't proven himself. You gotta keep your head on and keep playing the game, otherwise you're giving everyone the upper hand and all we're going to end up with is even more garbage then last year.
