Agreed. I thought it was too hokey for Thor in certain parts. It got better in the second half at least. Overall good. Nothing fantastic. Pretty funny. Seemed a tad all over the place though. They could have made that movie a two parter.

Yeah, this last episode almost felt like an actual episode of Star Trek where there was actual human interaction and it wasn't the whole "Federation vs Klingons".

I loved him in both Desperado and Zorro. Although the follow up to both movies were a letdown. I personally enjoyed 13th Warrior despite all of its flaws regarding history. Although I haven't watched it in a very long time.

Wow...interesting choice. I guess his style fits the part since Billy is a kid, and he acts like one in most of his shows.

This show is a love hate relationship with me. Somethings I like, somethings just seem so stupid. I still hate the Klingons.

Yeah I remember that. That was the red mustang or something like that wasn't it? That show was awful. Yeah, if Tom Selleck is in the show as an older Magnum, then I could see it. But if it's just replacing Magnum then...bleh.

OMG, you can't replace Tom Selleck. Why don't they just remake the Andy Griffith show while they're at it.

Just FYI that's Rachel Summers in that picture, future daughter of Scott and Jean from a different timeline. I'm with you on the Last Stand. It was crap. But then, so was Apocalypse. One other thing, the New Mutants movie is supposed to be a horror film, which should be obvious from the trailer. Not sure I really like it or what. I would have liked to see Rahne change into Wolfsbane just for a big surprise in the trailer but I was disappointed. Warlock is supposed to be in the movie as well...didn't see his techno body anywhere though.

Not sure if we talked about it in this thread, but has anyone watched The Good Place on Netflix? We just finished the last episode of season one. Really enjoyed it.

We prefer to support local business's as well instead of chains. I don't think we ever go to a chain for breakfast except when we're out of the city. Usually hit the Seine restaurant or something similar. For supper, we really like Aurora's on Corydon. Authentic Italian food. The owner and chef are from Rome. The sauce tastes just like my Italian mother in law use to make before she passed away. Really good gnocchi. The pizza is good, they used to have meatballs on the menu which were great. One of the servers there is a little slow, but the others are good.

When it first aired, I actually couldn't stand Picard as Captain and hoped every time he got captured and Will took the Captain's chair that he would just remain Captain. I would have loved to see a spinoff with Riker as Captain of his own ship.

I'm not a fan of the Neighbors, but this looks pretty good for a stupid funny film. That last scene...oh man that was so gross.

The other thing I'm thinking, is he means Snoke. Perhaps Snoke came from beyond the dark regions and enlisted as an apprentice to Luke (even though he was older). Then he turned Ben over to the dark side while he was being taught to use the force by Luke. Remember, Leia knew about Snoke in the Force Awakens. And Han says one of Luke's pupils turned on Luke and destroyed everything. Perhaps he got those scars he has from battling with Luke, hence why Snoke is so persistent in finding the Last Jedi and destroying him as Luke is the only one who can take out the First Order. Does Kylo really have the power to do that? Or maybe it's actually Snoke that was the pupil. Anyway, just one of my theories.
