Came here to say just this. He's been saying for the past 3-4 years that "Avatar 2 will be out next year". It was FOR SURE supposed to be ready for this December. Oh...no Avatar. Oh sorry, now it's supposed to be ready for NEXT December. I think James just can't stop swimming in his big pile of ego money, long enough to get out and get this done.

Agreed. After season 6/7 it's lost a bit of its touch, but I still enjoy it.

I haven't liked Larroquette in much since his Night Court days, but this sounds interesting. The other two seem meh.

No one is saying she was muscle bound or ripped in the comics, but she did have muscle. I mean, she's supposed to look like an Amazon. Gadot use to be twig thin, which is not what Wonder Woman looked like. Even in BvS, she looked a bit too thin. But as TUP said, since she's added some muscle to her frame, she is starting to look better. The shots in the WW movie of her look much better then BvS.

He is known for casting killing curses. I like this casting.

I saw it. It was a little meh, but that's just me. It wasn't bad, it just felt underwhelming.

I think we'll learn a bit about the back story in the trilogy, but they may keep that 30 years in between for books and possibly a new animated/tv series. I think it was important for Kylo to be turned and to kill off the other Jedi, as I believe it is forcing Luke to look at the ways the Jedi and realize he needs to go back to the old teachings which have more to do with balance.

I wasn't a big fan of Pine's Kirk. He's ok, but he doesn't scream Kirk to me.

I don't think Han has ever begged. Bartering...even for his life, yes...begging, no.

He's playing Garris Shrike who is Han's mentor.

The thing with Gibson and DC is, DC would want to have their hands in what's going on and Gibson is not the kind of director who lets people meddle in his projects. Now if DC can back off and let him do his thing, then I think this will work out. But if they're going to try and mess with Gibson's vision...it won't happen. You'll see Gibson walk away.

Odd. The way he's talked about those movies in the past you'd think he wouldn't touch them with a 10' pole.

Yeah, he may play a comic book character at some point, but I doubt he directs one. He's put them down on many occasions.
