Go to hell Brandon...go...to...hell....

That's a lot of snow for somewhere that wouldn't get snow often. The guy in the vid is right, get some snow tires man. Or better all seasons. Dude was skidding on the wet cement. But you're right Bearpants, just back up. I was like, "why are you stopping and gunning it, chill out dude".
-
I liked 1-3. 4 was meh and 5 was absolute crap.
-
Hence why he's doing stand up.
-
I can't stand Seth Rogen movies. I didn't even think Neighbors was very funny the first time I watched it.

Dude, you could go on a seriously good vacation for $9000. AND for that price, you could even take ME with you. Sweet deal I know. Tell me when we're leaving.
-
Why don't you wait a while for those 4K's to come down? It's not like anything is displaying at that resolution right now anyway. Wait 2 years and the price will drop by half I bet.

I have a 58" Toshiba, no frills. But we also sit 14 feet away from the TV. I'm not into the giant tv 5 feet away from my face viewing. The "bigger is better" thing never did it for me. I prefer quality over quantity. As long as it feels right for my room, I don't need some oversized jumbotron. I would, however, like to hook up a better sound system to it. The audio quality isn't the greatest. Not sure if I really want to set up surround sound right now, but something a bit more then just listening to the TV speakers. That "soap opera", or what I like to call "documentary style", look is from refresh rate being set to high on people's TV's. I hate that look and prefer setting it back to 60Hz rather then 120 or 240.

I think you're right. Felt a lot more comedic with the music. I wonder who they're up against. Looks like some sort of creature.

I love the theater experience for the most part. 80% of the time it's good, there's just that 20% where there's something that's going to bother you. The guy who sits beside me who is large and doesn't breath right so I hear him breathing throughout the whole movie. Or the idiot who keeps checking his cell. Or the person who keeps kicking my seat, etc... But for the most part, I love the experience, the smell, getting to laugh with other people. Makes it more enjoyable for me. And I'm introverted.

Yeah but you were right in the dead center...and that's my spot.

Although, one could say that having Luke (Luke being the balance) was how Anakin brought balance to the force. But I agree, I hated that prophecy.

I saw that, that was pretty good.

Think of it this way. Probably no Jedi was born of a Jedi, because it was forbidden for Jedi to marry and have offspring due to attachment. Most people who became Jedi were born of normal parents. Therefore, for a Jedi to have offspring, I think the offspring would be extremely powerful in the force. This is why I think Rey is Luke's daughter. But then, with the information I heard about the force being awakened in her because it had gone "dormant" since Kylo killed all of the Jedi Luke trained (and when I say dormant, I mean no kids were born with the force during that time, and no force sensitive person could sense others...something like that anyway, it's something from the script). Also, if you want to see a movie with Sith in many numbers, you have to go back 2000 years, I believe, before Darth Bane made the rule of 2. A master and an apprentice. So you'd have to go back to the Knights of the old republic time to see many Sith. Which I hope they do some day.

It seems to be related to Cloverfield though. Here's a quote from JJ about the film: “The idea came up a long time ago during production. We wanted to make it a blood relative of Cloverfield. The idea was developed over time. We wanted to hold back the title for as long as possible.” Whatever the hell that means I have no idea. Also, another bit of info on the film: “Her captor, a doomsday prepper, tells her he saved her life and that there has been a terrible chemical attack that has left the outside uninhabitable. She does not know what to believe and as tensions rise, she decides she must escape, regardless of the terrors that await outside.” Maybe they needed to unleash chemical weapons to kill the thing and this is the aftermath?

Poor Celine. That is terrible news for her. I can't imagine what she's going through right now. I've had a lot of family members die in one year, but they were spread apart by a few months.

To this day, I still don't understand why, in the Watchmen movie, Zach Snyder always had to capture Dr. Manhatten from the knees up, instead of the waist up like every other character. I didn't need to see him dangling in EVERY DAMN SCENE. Seriously, after the first 10-15 times, I think we get that he's always naked. You can stop showing his penis now. That's not the reason I didn't like it though. Again, acting was done well, just thought it was boring, and maybe not enough "superheroness" in it. Too much "supposed good guys doing bad things" for some of them. I dunno. Nothing clicked for me. Sucker Punch I understood, but it was just a stupid way of doing it. That constant back and forth crap, which was also in MOS, is awful to watch. Plus the movie is just ****.

I think they're saving Darkseid for Justice League. Same way Thanos is going to be in Infinity War.
-
Ah ok. You guys really need to make a separate thread about that.

Never watched Dawn of the Dead, had no interest. I saw Watchmen, and although the acting was good I just didn't like the film. I was bored to tears and looking at my watch the whole time. Also hated Sucker Punch and Legend of the Guardians was meh, same with 300. Man of Steel I wanted to love so much, it's still watchable for me, but he under used all these great actors and some of the plots were just...wtf? Like Pa Kent letting himself get killed, or telling Clark he shouldn't save anyone (sort of). Lois being asked to go aboard the ship...umm...why? It was never explained and then Jor-El helps her and tells her how to defeat them. And the fight scene was just WAAAAY too long. Him killing Zod really didn't bother me though. It was the rest of the film. I like Superman to be the one who is filled with hope. I don't mind seeing him battle his demons as a savior as he's growing up, but show us that he's a positive guy. That's Superman. The hopeful one. We don't need another Batman type who's superpowerful. So yeah, end rant. I'm glad other people liked it, I'm just not a fan of his.

Although hilarious, I think you're in the wrong thread there Frosty.

That new extended clip looked great. Not sure about the rest of the movie. Zod might factor in to Bizarro as there's rumor that Bizarro will be in the movie as well. And maybe Doomsday is created in a different way. Who knows. I'm not a big Snyder fan. I haven't really liked any of his movies. This one looks like it could have so much potential, but I have this feeling it's going to fall short again for me. Which is too bad because I really want this movie to succeed.

Aw no. I LOVED Alan Rickman. He was a fantastic actor. I don't think I disliked any of his performances. From the Sheriff of Nottingham, to his part in Love Actually, to playing Professor Snape, etc... He was amazing! RIP

OMG I CAN'T BELIEVE I FORGOT ABOUT GUARDIANS OF THE GALAXY!!! I knew I was missing one. Ok so it would go like this: Winter Soldier, Avengers, Guardians of the Galaxy, Iron Man, Captain America, Ant-Man, Thor, Incredible Hulk, etc... Sorry Noeller, I love Guardians.

A couple of them are interchangeable. Like IM and Cap. Those are about even for me.
