For me it's: Winter Soldier, Avengers, Iron Man, Captain America, Ant-Man, Thor, Incredible Hulk, etc... Spiderman 2 was great even though it was Sony's. I loved the first Spidey as well.

I can confirm that. I remember the same thing. I was one of them that thought Brohm was good after that game in 2014. Then 2015 and reality set in,

Excellent year for movies, agreed. I don't think they're hyping Rogue one yet because it only comes out in December. Probably won't see a trailer for it until Civil War.

Fanboys...yeah, that's why I hate 1, 2 and 3. It has nothing to do with the acting being so stiff and the dialogue so brutally bad. Trust me, I've tried hard to like these movies because I want more Star Wars, but I can't. These movies are just so bad. Frosty, I hear people say "it's a kids movie" all the time and I ask the question, what child likes watching politics and trade federation issues? Yeah, midichlorians...uggh... This is what happens when you surround yourself with yes men and fund everything yourself. In the original trilogy he had so many good people helping him out. Notice how Rick McCullum (Lucas's Producer) just disappeared after doing the prequels? He produced nothing other then Star Wars and Lucasfilm stuff for the longest time. The guy is just now getting jobs outside of that company. Ok, I'm done talking about this.

1 and 2 are painful to watch. It's just the dialogue and how it's delivered. Liam Neeson's character is the only decent one in EP1 followed by Ewan. And the story line is just all over the place. Too much politics in it for me personally. Way too much CGI not enough practical effects. EP2 is the same. Speaking of effects and how bad they are, when you get to the scene where Anakin is hanging off this Bounty Hunter's speeder, notice how Anakin is hanging straight down despite the fact that this speeder is flying at 200 KM per hour or something. It's like there's no wind drag at all or anything. It just makes watching it ridiculous. uggh...just thinking about it makes me nautious. ...and then there's Jar Jar...omg... EP3 is at least a bit better...sort of... So much potential just flushed down the toilet.

Ah ok. I didn't realize it was a documentary show, I thought it was a fictional one, and then you all started talking about real life stuff so it through me off. Thanks for clarifying.
-
...I'm lost. What the heck are you guys talking about? Isn't this a "what's on netflix" thread. This some documentary show or something?

Aw I loved Schneider, he was my favorite character on One Day at a Time. RIP Pat.

You forgot number 5. Collaros, Collaros, Collaros, Collaros, Collaros and Collaros.

STOP PUSHING HIM! Pushy Pusherson. Actually I'm like Mark H, I don't recognize half of the players, but what you and Goalie put is pretty much the same way I would rank them.

He was just an Elite trained Stormtrooper. Supposed to be like Finn, hence why he knew how to use a lightsaber. A lot of people said that battle would have been better if it had been Captain Phasma. But I think they were trying to let people subtly know "hey, this is why Finn knows how to use a lightsaber...look...SEE!". And yet people still didn't get it.

You're putting words in my mouth man. I never said that you said "this is what was going to indeed occur". My comments were more based on, "your theory sounds so ludicrous that I must make fun of you". And yes, you are entitled to your opinion, just as I am entitled to my opinion of your opinion. And ok, not married but they still had sex in order to make Rey. And hey, Luke may have a thing for tall chicks. I'm thinking of this more logically. A 6'7" woman and a 5'9" man (I thought he was 5'7" but I checked IMDB) having a 5'7" daughter? That's one tall mom to have one short daughter, not that it's impossible. But people just wouldn't believe it if it was revealed that a giant Captain Phasma had a short daughter. Not to mention, 2 blond haired people having a dark haired offspring. Not that they couldn't dye her hair. It's just reaching a little too far that's all.
-
No...just no. I'm so sure that's wrong that I will bet you $1,000,000 that Phasma and Luke are not husband and wife.
-
LOL...5'7" man mating with a 6'7" woman. Quite the couple.

Oh I agree. I'm sure there are a lot of force users out there that haven't tapped into their potential. And they showed that in TFA when she had that flash to when the Knights of Ren wiped out the Jedi Academy. So they are showing that Luke was training new apprentices in the force. But she seems to be more powerful then a normal force sensitive person which leads me to believe that Rey has Skywalker lineage.
-
Did we discuss the bit of dialogue that is present in the book but not the movie? Apparently when Rey force pulls the saber, Kylo turns to her and says "it is you!". So he knows who she is. Also, it would be pretty lame if she ends up being a no one. Someone with great force powers just being some random person born from 2 random people? That doesn't make sense. The Skywalker lineage is known for their strong abilities with the force due to Anakin being born of the force from Plagueis's meddling. The other thing I noticed on my third viewing. How does she know how to speak not only droid, but Wookiee as well? Droid I could understand she learned from Jakku, but how many Wookiee's did you see walking around? And Finn made a very obvious point of pointing that out "YOU UNDERSTAND WHAT IT SAID?!?!?" Someone taught her how to speak Wookiee, my guess it was Luke, Han or even Chewie himself when she was very little.

Considering they do a pretty good job with Pixar and Marvel...I'd say yes.

It's called a FANTASY world. Hello?

LOL

Good lord I hate Jesse Eisenberg. His voice is so friggen annoying.

Unlocking the force or not, if that was Leia's kid, she would have said something when she met her. It's not like Leia to keep her mouth shut. I think the poster was just to the the mirroring between the light side and the dark side. In any case, none of us will really know for another year and a half. If they even answer that question in the next movie.
-
I think if she was Han and Leia's child, they would have mentioned something to her like "Hey, by the way, this is your mom and I'm your dad, we hid you away on Jakku because your brother was a monster and we didn't want him to turn you to the dark side".
-
Yeah, but if this is the story about the Skywalker family, then Ren will need to be saved. Plus she doesn't remind me of Kenobi at all. And I also don't think Kenobi would have ever turned his back on one of the rules like having relations. Who knows. She reminds me more of Anakin as the mechanic/fixer along with the innocence of Luke. But I could be totally wrong.

Watch Christmas Vacation every year as well. Same with Elf and Ernest Saves Christmas. Also watch all of the ones Noeller mentioned as far as TV goes. Frosty, Rudolph, Charlie Brown, Garfield, Grinch, etc...

Perhaps Luke is allowing her to take her own journey, just as he had. She needed to come find him, not the other way around. The journey is for the student to make. When he turns to face her he's filled with emotion that his daughter is before him. We don't know that they're not speaking to Luke. So many questions...so far away.
