Agreed. Howell will take command before Buck if they ever let MB go. -
Yeah, cause a wall is what's going to keep them out.

Do or Die Detailed Half Time Report...
Logan007 replied to do or die's topic in Blue Bomber Discussion
Drew Bledsoe is retired and doing nothing, let's get him to OC! ...disregard that he's a millionaire and doesn't need to work... -
Why are we playing with so many players on each team? Makes it almost impossible to pick anyone up unless you trade or something. So you're basically stuck with whoever you drafted.
-
They won't give MB the reigns. If they did the fans would revolt and tear down IGF.
-
I'd take Khari at this point too.
-
Yeah, I'm still not sure about O'Shea, but I think he's the least of the problems on the Bombers. I'm starting to lean to agree that Walters and co. just didn't bring in the talent. We should have had at least one more decent QB to challenge Brohm and Marve. And we ended up with Yantz and Portis...yawn. That and MB. I was hoping Walters could do it, but I'm thinking he's still too green under the gills. I dunno.
-
Yeah but Cortez has a good track record. MB does not. You can't compare the two.
-
I'm not really talking about his year as HC. But either way, they still made it to the cup. And everyone has their ups and downs. Either way, better then this year.
-
Marcel needs to go and Brohm needs to go. There has got to be some QB out there that is better then Brohm. If Elliott is free, you bring him in. At least he knows the game, can throw the ball and move the line of scrimmage. He's miles ahead of Brohm. And bring it Worman (is he coaching somewhere, I couldn't find him) or Lapo as interim OC. I don't care what anyone says. As an OC Lapo never had a losing season.

For those that can't see the PDF.
-
Yeah, Mr. Dee you suck for being the only one to pick Montreal. How the hell did they win with Popp coaching them?
-
Yeah, I'm pretty much screwed unless someone comes outta nowhere and I manage to pick him up.
-
I think you need to look at my QB's before you can say that.
-
Actually it's pretty good so far. Except for all the spyware you have to turn off. Even Win7 was good before SP1. But yeah, you never know if there are potential holes that can be exploited.
-
Are you new to Microsoft products?
-
Well **** I forgot all about this. I had to fix the friggen washing machine and lost track of time damnit! And I LOVE drafting too...piss me off.

Crap thanks for reminding me.

I'm cheap and like weekend games. I like walks on the beach before a Bomber game and a romantic dinner afterwards. If you buy me any Bomber gear you MAY get a little extra something something. Call me. -
Y is it around here when someone has a different opinion good or bad people like you jump on it as trolling? This is a forum no? Or is it a kumbyas let's not breathe a word of criticism your a troll only forum? It's more a case of choosing to believe that no one could possibly be that stupid so it must be trolling for a reaction. It's not about differing opinions, it's about opinions so unbelievably stupid.Ok who gets to decide that you?Noeller? If it is someone trolling just don't react no? Is Doug Brown an idiot too? It's a slippery slope your traveling. It's the stuff of kids in the school yard. The kids that have been there the longest think it's their school yard and they get to decide what is allowed. Read ahead and you'll see the terms laid out. It's basically threats "Ban him" followed by name-calling. "Stupid", "Troll", until the poor fellow conforms or leaves. Sad really. I'm not going to get into the reasons why they are like this but it is interesting to observe how flummoxed they get when the target of their aggression stands his ground and defies them. I wonder what happens next ... Maybe had you used some online etiquette when you came here instead of the defensive attitude people wouldn't be talking like that. Look at how you're talking now, you're making things up just to make it sound like we're all out to get new people who don't "fall in line". Why don't you read some of the other threads. We all have differing opinions and we all argue with each other, even those of us that have been here the longest. EVEN GUYS FROM SASKATCHEWAN! So, once again, your statements are invalid. Do I walk around asking for 17 to get banned? No. Do I agree with his opinion on everything? No. And will I and others call him out on something if we think it doesn't sound right? Yes. Here's one of the other things you said in the introduction thread "I'm not really interested in defending every statement I may post". That says to me that you're not willing to back up what you're posting with any concrete evidence and that you just want to go around making blanket statements and no one should be calling you on it. On this board, if you make a statement, you need to back it up or people will call you on it. You can't just say "hey if we would have sat Willy he wouldn't have gotten hurt, therefore MOS is a terrible coach and should be fired. That's my opinion and no one should question me on it.". Really? I'm not sure if I've introduced you to something called the INTERNET! There is no where on the internet where you will post a blanket statement and no one will question you on it. I know, I frequent many different discussion boards from football to comics to movies, etc... And ALL opinions will be questioned ALL THE TIME. And you will be ganged up on if your opinion is way out there no matter where you post. So far, you've said you left another message board because they didn't like your opinion. And now you're coming here and getting some of the same thing. Maybe it's you and how you present yourself to others. If you don't like it here, no one is forcing you to stick around. But if you're going to stay, get to know people, get the feel of how people are, let people get used to your presence around here before you start arguments. And know you're going to get pissed off at some of the people around here because it happens to all of us. We don't care if you're opinions differ, just back them up with some logic and common sense (for example, before you make a statement, ask yourself "is there any coach in the CFL or NFL that would have not played their starting QB if the doctors cleared them to play").

In case you didn't notice, even those of us who have been here since the start of the site still argue with each other. And we don't call each other trolls for a reason. When you've been posting for a long time and you're observant about it, all you need to do is watch certain people and you can start to see their behaviors. Look for signs. Are they always attacking someone? Are they always argumentative? Do they ever talk positively about anything or is everything bad always? For example. I can tell J5V is looking to argue. I knew that from the first moment he posted, but I kept my mouth shut to see if I was right. Wanna know how? One of the first things he posted in the Introduction thread is this: Duressler47, on 10 Aug 2015 - 7:17 PM, said: That depends on how folks react to my opinions. We'll see. You can go on and read what else he wrote, I don't feel like posting it all here, but it's very...in your face. Now, someone who really wants to be part of an online community will normally post something like "hey, my name is blah, just came here to discuss the Bombers. Happy to be here. Let's hope we have a great season, etc...". Something like that. Be constructive, or at least somewhat constructive. They talk about players or coaches, and how so and so is doing good or doing bad (note, they talk about both). They will come and post here during the good games or the bad games. When someone uses (note abuses) an online community ONLY to unload all of his/her crap because the team isn't playing well or is losing, that can turn an online community into a destructive one. I'm not saying you can't come here and unload when you're frustrated, but if that's all you do and aren't being constructive at all, then it becomes a type of trollish behavior. Someone is looking to lay the blame game and argue with people because they're frustrated. Which, as I said, is fine, but if you don't give some positives as well, people will think you're just trolling and not want you around. So in conclusion. When you start on a new forum, don't act like you've been apart of it for the last few years and come in and start dumping on everything. Start off constructive, don't piss the regulars off. It's like trying to make friends and acting like an ass in front of them and then wonder why they don't want to hang out with you.

If I were Wade miller I would...

It depends on your players too. Everyone learns and listens differently. Some people need the smackdown to get them focused. Others need positive encouragement. Etc... Coach has to know his players. -
Yet here you are with your crystal ball telling me what I would have said if we had lost in BC. I don't deny I think MOS I don't need a crystal ball to know what your agenda is.

Doug Brown seems to think there's some merit to the idea of resting your battered star QB. So do I. It's obvious if you really think about it. But what does he know? http://www.winnipegfreepress.com/sports/football/bombers/battered-willy-had-no-business-playing-bc-280613802.html Honestly, not as much as he likes to make us believe really. Sorry but Doug Brown isn't the be all and end all, quite honestly, Doug Brown is so full of Doug Brown that i'm honestly surprised he's able to breathe at times since he's obviously got his head so far up his own ass at times. I see. Don't debate the argument, attack the man personally. Got ya. Good, mature approach. Doug Brown isn't a coach. He's was a player. He has no idea how to coach a pro team. That's like saying a student knows how to be teacher because he's spent 12 years being taught. You have no idea if Doug Brown knows what he's talking about or not. You're just taking his word for it.
