Bloody shame, considering what you paid for it. High temp paint can be bought in spray cans. If you can find someone to sandblast it, you can do the repainting yourself. I even emailed the Bomber store to ask. But did they reply? Nooooo. Oh well. Anyone know a place I can get it sandblasted?

Mark you were right. Not fireproof paint. Stuff pealed off after half an hour of burning. Still looks good though. Maybe next year I'll repainted it with fireproof paint. Whatever, it's not going to look perfect forever.

Don't forget Broom. That's just sad. And I also have no idea why it would be an insult. Broom is terrible. Other than being close in spelling, I don't see the thought process behind it. I noticed my phone autocorrect Brohm to broom. Maybe just a typo that turned into a nickname? That's probably how it started, then someone thought it was clever and just went with it. At least that's the way I see it in my mind. And if that's how my mind see's it then it must be true damnit!

Just like in the Brohm thread how people label them as haters? Unless people fart rainbows they hatin' They don't have to fart rainbows, they just need to be constructive. Going on a tangent about how we're going to lose every game with "noodle arm Brohm" isn't constructive. It's just being part of the doomsday patrol.

No one here hates Marve. And you all should know that by now considering we've stated that we like Marve many times throughout this thread. 17 is right, we're tired of listening to the fan boys around here who are so sure that Marve is THE guy. We've all heard it before. People crying for Elliot, Brink, Goltz, Dinwiddie, LeFors, etc, etc, etc... All of whom were heralded as the next big thing. And where are they now? The coaches pick who they want to play in what order and they stick to it. They're not going to be wishy washy because some fans are going banana's. You guys are whining about "why didn't they put him in in the last quarter"? Why? Ask yourself this...why, after they scored all those touchdowns, didn't Collaros come out of the game except for the last couple of minutes? They were far enough ahead by the time the fourth quarter rolled around. Why not put in Mathews to get him some practice? Because Collaros is their guy. Just like if Willy goes down, they decided Brohm was their guy. They weren't going to win by putting Marve into the fourth quarter, so the smart thing to do is get your second string as many reps as he can get.

Isn't that the second time in his short career that I've seen that exact same thing happen? For some reason I feel like I saw that happen to him last year as well. I may be mistaken.

Unless you let your thoroughbred out of the barn to run the race, you are never going to know if you could have won the Kentucky Derby. That being said, in hindsight I'm ok with not playing Marve yesterday. But I would strongly think about giving him first team reps this week, and then giving him a whole half against Montreal. It's time to see what he can do, with actual prep, and plays drawn up for him. I remember a lot of people thinking Goltz was going to be our thoroughbred too...and all the Rider fans who thought Sunseri was too. Look how that turned out. I want Marve to succeed, so if they do put him out, I hope he's ready to handle the reigns.

Yeah, and? And? Ok i will try to make this easy for ya,its like leaving your goalie in when he has let in 10 goals and then stating we may need him next game? See? Let me make this easy for you. You leave the backup QB in to give him reps...to get more practice so that he's ready for the next game. You don't pull him and shatter what confidence he has to put in another backup QB. And what if the 3rd stringer sucks too? You going to pull him to put in yet another backup? Were you not around when Burke did that **** to this team and completely destroyed all the QB's we had with what little confidence they had?

Sometimes when I read posts like this I honestly think I must live in an alternate universe, and some here are definitely in dreamland. Do you guys just pass out automatically when Marve is on the field? Is that why you can't see what he does on the run? I also don't get this need by some here to crap on Marve. Why don't you like him? Did he pee in your corn flakes or something? No one here is crapping on Marve. What we're doing is laughing at those of you who think Marve is some kind of savior. You just called him deadly accurate. He's not, and the stats show that. Marve's fancy footwork distracts everyone from the fact that he's still green behind the ears.
