Ya, ok, I'm a bit "special" My dog likes me though. If you say so.

I wanted to see this last week, but we had some wedding to go to and then my wife went to see her dad on father's day. WHAT'S UP WITH THAT!?!?! I mean, what's more important!?? Geez. She needs to get her priorities straight.

Weirdo. No, like a somersault flip through the air. He can even do a somersault while twisting in the air. He's pretty good.
-
Yeah, welcome to yesterday's news. Pshh... His name is Tom Holland. Looks pretty good I think as Peter Parker. Kid can actually do a bunch of flips too.

Why are you talking about comic books in a Movie thread?

1. Fav Wrestler: Hulk Hogan (also loved Mad Dog Vachon, Baron Von Raschke, Andre the Giant) 2. Fav. Character: Macho Man Randy Savage 3. Fav. Face: Ultimate Warrior 4. Fav. Heel: Ric Flair or Baron Von Raschke for sure. And not a wrestler, but Bobby the Brain Heenan was the guy I hated most. 5. Fav Finisher: Gotta be the Hulk with his leg drop. That was the best. 6. Fav. Tag Team: They Strike, they Strike with Force...they're STRIKEFORCE! 7. Fav Moment: When Hulk pics up and slams Andre the Giant. Also I love when Hulk is just about to get beaten and then all of a sudden he gets "the surge" and gives that look to the audience where you know he's gonna come back and beat down on whoever he's fighting. Totally awesome. Used to love that. 8. Fav guy on the stick: Macho Man. He had the best voice. And shout out to the one holding the mic...Mean Gene! 9. Fav foreign object: The chair. I believe the first time someone brought in an object into the ring was the chair against Hulk Hogan. I remember seeing it on TV too. Can't remember who did it though. 10: fav catch Phrase: "OOOOOOH YEEEAAAH" (Macho Man). Or "Da Claw" from Baron Von Raschke.

This is why I hate living in Canada sometimes. Where they let immigrants walk all over and **** on our country and we do nothing about it. I have no problems with people migrating to this country. As far as I'm concerned, come on down. But don't come here and walk all over us and put up and worship pictures of terrorists or other crap like that. And learn some damn English while you're at it! That picture is a disgrace and an insult to the people who have died. It should be ripped down.

I'm going to pick Cornish, but I have this feeling he's not going to score for some reason.

You don't pick them here. Go to the link Rich pointed to above. Also...everyone who wins who isn't me...cheats.

Penton: Bombers are "talking to" Lin-J Shell (update: added to PR)
Logan007 replied to Mike's topic in Blue Bomber Discussion
Please stop trying to make sense of things. People are trying to manage the team around here. Don't you know it needs serious help? -
Wrong on both counts. Whenever Durant was not behind center, Lapolice's play calling stunk to high heaven and was unwatchable. Unacceptable on all counts and if he was as good as people say he is, every single one of those 7 other teams would've been pounding on his door and blowing up his phone telling him he has a job as coach or OC after he got fired here. That didn't happen and for good reason. And trust me there were way more long balls thrown by our offense last year on 2nd and long than there had been in a while. It was sometimes good, sometimes not good, sometimes Willy did need to check it down instead of trying for a home run like he did in the Banjo Bowl, or against BC in that final game last year. But all in all, at least I can say this offense wasn't playing not to lose like that f***ing clown Lapo tried to instill here. Oh ok, since you say I'm wrong I must be, given you know all. And I never said LaPo was amazing, I said he's yards better then MB, which isn't saying much since MB sucks. And yes, he does have them throw long too often, but he also has them throw too short when they need a nice 8 or 10 yards. I remember yelling at the TV many times last year for him having them throw short yardage plays when they were 2nd and 8 or 10.
-
Please, that's what MB was doing last year. He either has them throw too short or bombs it down the field.
-
No way. LaPo is yards better then MB. And what are you talking about? Last year that's all MB did was have Willy throw short yardage when we needed 8+ yards.

On those three points, I'd just like to add: There was some nice catches by the int and NI players that weren't necessarily big plays, but nice routes and catches in traffic. Collin had a beauty across the middle. I thought Portis looked good. Moved the ball decently, nice foot work and was mobile. He would have had a first down scramble had he not let up to make a move. He was caught from behind when he did. All teams run vanilla, but there definetly different degrees. Hamilton, was always sending at least one guy deep and it was often Fantuz (ha he dropped an easy one) or Grant, Or they would run about 15 yards up to run a corner etc. Even in TO/MTL game, they had guys running more than just hooks and 5 yard outs. Thats pretty much all our guys did. Especially our man play makers. Denmark had a nice catch on the corner route, but moore had 4 catches and I'm fairly sure they were all within 5 yards of the line of scrimmage. While I didn't like a lot of what I saw. It was painfully obvious they weren't showing anything. Like I said, I couldn't see the game so thanks for providing your insight. As for our vanilla.... A bunch of short throws with a few big plays are the hallmarks of a MB offence. Pretty much what we've seen since he became the OC. Yeah, I'm worried about MB as the OC still. But will give him the benefit of the doubt for the first bit. My buddy told me, every team MB has been on has been ranked at least bottom 3 for sacks given up. Hopefully that changes this year. I won't. He's a mediocre (if that) OC. He should have been kicked to the curb a long time ago.

Can someone write up a breakdown of what happened? I missed the game tonight. Maybe some highlights of the good and the bad.

Victoria Hospital has always had parking available and in my opinion not having to cross Pembina with a child is key. They gotta learn how to cross the crazy Winnipeg streets sometimes.

A few years ago I was at a game sitting on the west side behind the Bomber bench and I had a mother and small kid behind me, and the kid kept asking mundane questions and the mom kept answering them, right in my ear. I was able to ignore the banter for the most part but then there was some horrible call by the ref so I started yelling, using a few choice words, forgetting about the kid sitting behind me. Suddenly I hear this little voice say "Mommy why is that man so angry" and the mom says "Because the ref is a moron dear"....ha ha ha I bring my daughter (7 now) every year. it's a 50/50 chance she's really into it. But usually a wireless device keeps her from asking every 2 minutes if we can go yet. I brought my kids a couple of years ago (5 and 7 at the time) and I just forced them to suck it up till the end. Sometimes (depending on age) you just gotta make them stick it through and suck it up.

I agree with that statement. When he's healthy Neufeld is great. Problem is he's had nothing but injuries since he came here. I don't know what the answer is with him, but what if we trade him, as someone mentioned, then all of a sudden he's healthy again. We'd be kicking ourselves. So do you take the chance or just keep him?
