George is a fantastic CGI/special effects guy. Leave him in charge of that kind of stuff, and you'll come out a winner. But as far as writing stories. He's got good ideas, but he can't seem to put them down on paper without help. Indiana Jones or Star Wars. Even Speilberg kept asking George throughout the filming of IJ4 "so you really want to do aliens?". What I find hilarious is that he keeps stating that The Phantom Menace is for kids...yet...what child understands politics and trade federation blockades? I mean...WTF?!!? OMG, I just want to stop thinking about it.

Agreed about Padme dying of a broken heart. That was just lame. What they should have done was have some kind of love triangle thing happening between Anakin and Padme and Padme and Bail. Or something that would have had her giving birth, then going and being with Bail instead and dying shortly there after when Leia was a toddler or something and leaving Leia in for Bail to raise. I dunno...something like that.

Exactly, that's what was absolutely stupid for me. How was Luke too old at...what, 20? And Anakin was too old at 8. I couldn't stand the actor that played Anakin. I actually wished they had used someone older, maybe teenagerish. Especially since Obiwan stated "When I met your father, he was already a great pilot" or something like that. So what did Lucas do...made him a pod racer. Uggh...what a way to ruin the story. And Jar Jar...I just wanted to punch the screen last night when I saw him talking. WHY....WHY GOD WHY!!?!?!?! But yeah...you and I have the same views on this crap. I wish they would eventually reboot the prequals...even if it was just making it one movie instead of 3, just so we could erase the atrocities.

Leia said she was very young when her mother died. Senator Organa and his wife didn't die until the Death Star destroyed Alderaan from what I understand. Bail Organa didn't die until the Death Star destroyed Alderaan, but nothing was ever mentioned about when her mother died.

I'm waiting for the movie when the dino's start working on computers and eventually built a starship to fly their species to a different planet where there will be no humans and they can live in peace.

OMG, I just watched Episode 1 again...it was so brutal how bad the acting and dialogue are. The only good thing about the movie was Darth Maul and Qui-Gon Jinn. I wish they'd reboot 1, 2 and 3. Such garbo.

Actually it's Susan Storm that is either adopted, or was part of a previous marriage and her mom married Johnny's dad. Because, if you watch the trailer, Johnny's dad is black and he's the lead scientist. Either way it looks like crap. I'm not a fan of Pratt outside of Guardians of the Galaxy and Lego Movie so we'll see how Jurassic World does. But seriously...they needed to make a giant dinosaur smart? What idiot would do that?

Yeah, people have pretty much stated that Superman could just blast Batman from far away with his heat vision. My speculation though is, Batman's armor suit, is made from the Kryptonian armor that Zod and his crew had. Either that, or part of one of their ships. So it would be able to withstand a blast from his heat vision. There's probably something along those lines. They duke it out and eventually become best buddies in the end.

Anakin knew Padme was pregnant, but didn't know she gave birth to the twins until Luke came along. I think Vader was always hesitant about Luke joining the dark side. Vader always seemed like he never really wanted to join but had to in order to create peace in the galaxy.

This just sounds like a copy of the original.

LOL...I think actually that Batman thinks that Superman is the villain and wants to take him down. Batman isn't actually the villain....although he sounded like one. And the glowing eyes are only on that one suit he wears. It's like an armored suit to take down Superman and the eyes are covered with protective lenses. I think the glow is just for effect. His regular suit is just normal. I actually really like the regular suit he has. Looks more like the comic books...like material instead of armor. Typical Snyder though...all action and no fun. Fun things must DIE! Only dark and gritty.

Abrams is a good director as far as people not looking stiff in his films, or not belting out lines that sound like they shouldn't be there. The only issue I have with JJ is his plot holes. Sometimes he puts things into his movies just to make what he wants happen. Like having that super duper transporter that Scotty magically built that allows you to transport almost anywhere. Amazingly 70 years later they still don't have that technology in the original timeline.

They're trying to make it more "real". And when I say that, I mean, they're trying to say, "what if an alien with these kinds of powers actually came to earth?". The problem is, everyone has always viewed Supes as a boyscout for the most part. And now they're trying to change him and make him more dark and brooding. The movie was successful, but I think it was more so because it was "Superman" and "big splosions" then that it was good. The story needed to be better, and Superman needed to do more crowd control of getting people away from the danger. Just seemed like he cared more about beating the bad guys then saving anyone, until the end when he actually tried to stop that thing from terraforming the Earth. But he's supposed to be explaining that part in this next movie. Hence all the hate towards him, especially from Batman. Even Batman doesn't seem like Batman in that trailer "do you bleed? You will." Like...woah, that doesn't sound like Batman to me. I dunno. I really hope it's good, but I'm not really a fan of Snyder's work.

This was a great trailer. FYI, I don't think there's a skull in there. Although, Obi-Wan never taught Anakin how to become one with the force, so maybe the body didn't vanish like Yoda's or Obi-Wan's. I know one of the leaders, I can't remember his name. He's the tall blond guy everyone thought was going to be Luke's son. I believe Donald Driver is Kyle Ren aka the guy wielding the red light saber. FYI, for those who didn't catch it...the light saber that is shown handed from one woman to another is Luke's original lightsaber (aka Anakin's lightsaber that was given to Luke by Obi-Wan) that he lost when Darth Vader cut his hand off in Empire right before he revealed that he was Luke's father. Luke created another green lightsaber (which looks more like his master, Obi-Wan's) in Return of the Jedi, which is probably still the one he wields now. I'm guessing that's what I read earlier, that they find Luke's hand holding his lightsaber. I think people thought they meant that it was his robot hand holding his more recent lightsaber, not his old one.

Daredevil started up on Friday on Netflix. So far a great show. Awesome fight scenes.
