the very definition of a first world problem. Actually, there are apparently some very serious problems with time change. Studies show that there is an increase in heart attacks and car accidents when the clocks are set forward in spring.

http://www.theprovince.com/sports/football/bc-lions/Lions+football+Jeff+Garcia+throws+into+ring/10410488/story.html A league source confirmed that TSN analyst Paul LaPolice is interested in joining the CFL team that sought him out with a job offer as offensive co-ordinator prior to last season. As well, former all-star and Pro Bowl quarterback Jeff Garcia indicated his interest in the vacancy left by the firing of Mike Benevides after the Montreal Alouettes’ season came to a close in the East Division final Sunday. LaPolice, who coached the Winnipeg Blue Bombers for parts of three seasons before taking the broadcast job but had far fewer wins (16) than Benevides (33), is considered among the front-runners on the basis of his work as offensive co-ordinator with Winnipeg and the Saskatchewan Roughriders. Garcia joined the coaching ranks only this season with Montreal, but made it clear to the Winnipeg Free Press that he would like a role beyond that of a quarterbacks coach. “I want to be a head coach and I don’t necessarily think I need to be a co-ordinator first,” said Garcia, who got his break in pro football in 1994 when he succeeded Doug Flutie at quarterback for Buono’s Calgary Stampeders. “I understand offence and I’m a leader. If Wally called, I’d definitely listen and be interested.” I wonder how much consideration would be given for our brass to give Garcia a call for OC? Seriously, a guy who knows offence, and has had exposure again to this league, is available…shouldn't we look into it? Duh doy. Well you'd think anyway.

I'd love to have Garcia on our coaching staff. Not sure if he's ready to be an OC, but he seems to have a great offensive mind.

I'd rather have Stamps than Price or Bryant - though make no mistake, Stamps is no where near the receiver he was a couple years back. He won't be any different than Bryant is. You'd rather have Stamps over Bryant....but he's no different then Bryant. ...I...what?

it's actually a metaphor for life! Is it the "Answer to The Ultimate Question of Life, the Universe, and Everything"? You're completely wrong the correct answer to the Ultimate Question of Life, the Universe and Everything is..........42. And if you understand that, you will have to be put to death immediately. Actually he can't be wrong, he just asked the question. But yes...it's 42...it's always 42.

Yes, because slagging one person shows exactly what kind of person any of us is. And if you were talking about me, I didn't slag him, I said I couldn't stand him as a Bomber. I never said he was crap. Just like myself and others wouldn't like Hank or Tate as a Bomber. Did I quote you? Did I mention you by name? All I was trying to do is to refocus the thread and remind people that this is about the man and not the football player and that to equate the two. Is wrong. Get over yourself. Ray Rice and Adrian Peterson are great football players but are both scum of the earth. That's the difference. In case you can't read, I said "If you were talking about me", I never said you were. I'm so sorry no one is allowed to discuss their opinions about Buck Pierce unless they're positive opinions of the guy. I mistook this for a message board. And good luck refocusing the thread when almost all of our threads get derailed in one way or another.

Whatever happened to Carmen Sandiego? ...and for that matter...where the hell is Waldo?

How is buck supposed to teach a guy to not trip on defenders finger tips or pick the right gap at full speed? Trick question, he can't. Both of those key failures are on the RB.. He either has the power to run thru pinky fingers or he has the vision to see the holes made by oline.. Because he's the COACH...that's his job...to teach him to stop the bad habits and how to do better job at playing their position. What the heck do you think the coach does "oh just go out there and do what you do...". No, they teach them how to stop doing the stupid things and how to be better at what they do. To be fair Grigsby did get a bit better at dropping some of the bad habits from his game... but there's only so much you can do with a player who is unwilling to play like a man and would rather quit. None of us can judge Pierce, his position just isn't one that lends itself to the general fanbase having any idea about. Grigsby I just think was what he was and no coach was going to make him a better running back. Right, which is why I said above, was it Buck or was it Grigsby that was the problem? Even I lean more towards Grigsby being the issue, but still. I think people are just thinking Buck is this magical creature that's going to fix all the problems of this team and want to promote him way too fast. He still has a lot to learn and a long way to go before even becoming an OC. And as much as I hated him as a player, if he can become a good coach, then by all means, keep him on. I just hate this fixation on him that he's some kind of savior and super totally awesome coach to be, when no one here really knows what he can or can't do. I haven't seen anyone list him as a savior. He is just a popular guy in the city for the way he played the game (like his play or not he sacrificed his body and put it all on the line in each game he played) and the way he has embraced the city. I think it is more of people wanting to see him do well because of that. It would be a feel good story ... unless of course you don't like Buck Pierce. I wasn't talking about just this thread. I've seen other threads where they thought Buck should be our OC right now. To me that sounds like some people think he's a savior.

What else is there to do in Regina? Nothing. Drive down to billings Montana for the weekend? At least there's mountains in Montana.

Here we go again. I don't know why everyone thinks Buck is some kind of natural coach. I'm sure he's a nice guy and invests in the community, but none of us has really seen how he's done as a coach. You all say look what he did with Cotton...BS, I think Cotton was already that good. What I want to say is, wtf did he do with Grigsby with all the time he had with him? All I saw with Grigsby was him going down hill as far as his RB duties. But again, was that all on Grigsby, or crappy coaching? That's up to the HC to decide. If he's a good coach, then fine, keep him around, if he's not, I don't care how many people love him, give him the boot. Sorry, I don't have a man-crush on Buck like a lot of you do. I couldn't stand him as a Bomber, not that we had any other option with the crappy GMing we had at the time and not having a proper QBC. I have a man-crush on Khari, so I know how most of you feel, but I don't want him here if he's not ready to be an OC. Some of you need to take off your rose colored glasses.

You know what's funny...I just watched the rerun of the Big Bang Theory where Sheldon is at wits end trying to decide on whether to buy the PS4 or the XBOX1. At the end he's sitting on the floor with Amy in the store and the salesmen comes up to him informing him that the store is closed and he still hasn't made a decision and he just flips out.

This is the most idiotic way of voting. What kind of losers sit there voting over and over again for 15 hours?

I would take Benevides or Washington over Etch. But why do I have this feeling it just won't happen.

God if you listen to me, you're never going to learn anything. Listen to people like JuranBoldenRules, voodoochylde, Booch, Rids and TBieber ... those are just a few of the guys I see as must read posters. Don't listen to Voodoo...he just THINKS he knows something about football because he played in high school like...a bagillion years ago. In truth, he just sits in his office plotting the destruction of the world all day long. Now, if you don't mind, I'm going to go lock the door to my office. And NO, it's not because I think he's going to come over here and punch me...pssshhh... ....his plans for me are more despicable than that.... O_O

This seems to be happening even on the iPhone/iPad games. It's annoying as hell. Not that I play those games anymore, but my kids borrow my devices to play them and when I get my phone back I keep getting Game Center crap saying "it's your turn next" (I turn off the pop up but it still shows in Game Center, not that I care). Apparently Wii U is supposed to be good Tackle, but if you're looking for a game like KOTOR then probably the PS4.

Which Player To Get Stitched On New Bombers Jersey
Logan007 replied to Noeller's topic in Blue Bomber Discussion
Retired players... Wear with pride. Well, #11 Ken Ploen, #27 Dave Raimey, #77 Ernie Pitts, #64 Bill Frank, #55 Joe Critchlow, #7 Don Jonas, #52 Harry Walters, #30 Brian Herosian, #27 Jay Washington, #38 Willard Reaves, #35 Tyrone Jones, #10 Rod Hill, #2 Tom Clements, #70 Jeff Boyd.... Those guys come to mind. I always loved Brian Herosian's nickname. The Armenian Assassin. I met him a few times after he was done playing football. What comes to my mind about Brian Herosian was the horrible accident that took the lives of his wife and child. Actually he only lost his wife and he got injured in the accident himself. His son Ben (who he had with that first wife) is still alive. He then remarried and has 2 other daughters now as well. But yeah, losing his wife must have been brutally hard on him, especially since he had to take care of his young son who was born with no legs and only one arm (as well as some other issues he had that I can't remember). So he had to work his way back to playing football for the Bombers and take care of his disabled son after losing his wife and not having anyone up here to support him as he was from Baltimore. Not sure if his parents came to help him or what, but he is a friggen strong guy for being able to pick himself up and come back like that. -
Ya didnt wanna put Willy, Randle and Leggett on there? I think he's talking about people we resigned.

It's cute how important you think you are. you have NO idea... They probably laugh to each other and mock us while sipping champagne and eating grey poupon. For the record, Noeller has the ego about these things, I'm just a simple ******* who likes to argue with people and say stupid things. You made a spelling error. I fixed it for you.
