  1. Calgary Sask Then Winnipeg, BC and Edmonton in some form. My prediction is that the Bombers won't finish last in the division. So right now I'd go BC, Winnipeg, then Edmonton.
  2. Was this the injury near the end of the game? Because if so that's a major gaffe by the coaches. He shouldn't have been in there at that time.
  3. Because they sold off all the digital rights to TSN in the last TV deal. Which is great for the league because TSN limits access to the content (it's basically impossible for most of western Canada to access TSNGO at this point) and uses the CFL as collateral to attempt to squeeze cable providers into giving them more money. Oh I know, I just think the CFL should really consider doing the smart thing for a change and try to put a package together that wouldn't run primarily through cable. Any CFL streaming package would divert some money to TSN anyways since they're the rights holder, plus it means more eyeballs for their ads.
  4. I've never understood why the CFL doesn't offer their own CFL streaming package. I would pay to have access to all the live games (well, we do already to for TSN) and the recorded ones. Particularly if they offered coaches' film like the NFL does.
  5. Would be an interesting lineup at least. Problem probably lies in the backups there though. Carter and Renaud still are projects.
  6. I am not a fan of Etch but we need to give him time to see if his defense works here. Two preseason games with basic schemes AND probably thirty percent of the players won't ever be in a lineup this year.
  7. I don't mind it. Might be the best option now. Sucks for Knapp, but they played him at tackle for some stupid reason and he was bad there.
  8. Yawn. Don't like the D but I'm not ever endorsing a coach firing this early. Only makes us a circus like Montreal.
  9. Honestly if we do find ourselves pressed for Canadian starters at least with this you could sub in Morley. He's not good, but still...at least it's an option. I really want to see Knapp pull on runs though. He's built like a tight end.
  10. I finished re-watching the game today and I think Hall still has a better chance of panning out than Brohm does. For the most part I think Hall would have looked a lot better had his receivers made the plays they should have (and Tarver just sucks so having him gone soon should help). I was actually surprised by how Hall looked the second time around.
  11. Wouldn't cut Banks. I'm more concerned about the D schemes than any particular player really, but even those won't be the ones we see in the opener.
  12. It's a walk through but I am still a little tempted to go, just to see what they're doing and who's playing where.
  13. Some of these Stamps' guys are coming off as real whiners. It's unlikely every union member will be happy with the deal, but you don't need to make yourself look bad now.
  14. Happy we get football, but this deal looks pretty bad for the players. CFL has grown a lot in recent years, both in on-field product and financially, and they get a tiny increase that won't affect most players.
  15. In most labour arguments I side with the owners, since the players make quite a lot of money and as employees, are required to either play for what the employers are giving you or find a different job. Since the CFL has grown substantially in the past decade or so and the players still don't make a lot, I side with them on this one. Told some of them at camp I was rooting for them.
  16. Interested to see how the QBs look in a game. The one big practice I saw, Willy was good but the others were poor.
  17. I can't stand Westwood so I doubt this changes my radio plans, but CJOB definitely has fallen since it's Irving and whoever they pair him with on the road. Overall I rarely listen to pre game stuff. I'll listen to post game if I'm driving or at home with time.
  18. Guy, next to you... That would be me. The Linemen were pretty appreciative of the fans coming out and supporting them. Ha, you know I'm always wondering if I'm sitting right by another MBB member when I come on here during camp.
  19. Met and/or briefly talked with January, Greaves, Saulsberry and Kowalczuk. Kowalczuk said the he loves O'Shea, that as a former player he really understands them. Raved about Bob Wylie, said he's showing them clips of guys he coached in the 80s. Thinks they've got the right people in place in all the right areas. Also January said he appreciated the support from the fans. Him and the guy next to me were chatting about the labour stuff I think.
  20. January brought the linemen up into the stands today after practice. Will type up a little more on that when I get home.
  21. Willy throws an end zone pick anticipating his WR to curl out earlier.
  22. Unamba picks off Brohm and takes it to the house. Brohm lost sight of the backer and Unamba elevated for the nice catch.
  23. Osh and Pierce sprint after the players once each throw or run has occurred screaming at them to run and sprint.
  24. Renaud is not punting in the rotation. Hat on. Probably already noted but I guess he's sitting this practice out.
  25. O'Shea and who I believe to be Tracey teaching ST blockers how to identify who to block now.
