No hes not, but he is the one that throws or hands off the ball. If you can't throw accurately or can't set your feet because you are panicking or read the defense, then the offence has ZERO chance of moving the ball. If one reciever can't catch, you swap them our or don't throw to them. QB isn't like all the other parts of the team where they are the sum of the parts. If Willing was throwing the ball on target and the reciever is dropping it. running the wrong route or whatever thats one thing.. But when the QB is throwing into the dirt or under or over throwing, thats on the qb.

its painfully obvious now that the QB position is the root of most of our issues. HE has happy feet, lacks confidence to throw the ball quickly. To me he looks like a noob that doesn't know how to react and is constantly panicking and unsure of what to do until he makes a late decision.

I was one of those but only if they found someone better. He blew in the playoffs. But man did we have it good back then didn't we boys? Now we have offensive talents of the early 2000s. We have a RB that came make something out of nothing and pretty good receivers. The online is holding their own which is far better then they have been for a few years. We have a max hall Qb. That's the key. With Burris et al we are winning these games I believe. 3 years of growing pains at years end is enough to determine if willy has it or not. I dont see anything this year to tel me has it. His can manage the game but with him at the helm I don't have any belief we can come back and win it.

Firing MOs didn't do anything to fix our QB problem we've had the last three years. Time to settle in and hope we trade for Burris , glenn, or someone average

Damn Straight.. its a purple Tie.. So.. I got that going for me which is nice. I have to catch a bus from downtown to the stadium.. Any thoughts on the best route? I'm in the chinatown.

Thanks for posting this info for us to consume. I really appreciate all the work some of the posters here to put in to make things better for the others like me that just like to read what is posted.. I used to post more, but i tired of the bitching and constant attacks to my different view of the team or against the IMWT or the cliche du jour. I post more on reddit then here.

I went for a walk after the game and listens to the to/bc game. we may be able to beat both those teams if we play like or progress from today's performance. Jennings sounded blah and Lulay wasn't able to get a win. Ray sounds like a broken Kahari...... im happy we pulled it together to get us a win and it was good to see the offence take what Hamilton was giving up and moving the ball. The more we can do that the more we are likely to see willy relax in the pocket. Hopefully the happy feet disappear

So happy for the win as I thought Hamilton was gone to score for sure in the dying seconds . willy really does have happy feet and needs to calm down, a lot. Because when he did he was being pretty accurate. The dink and dunk stuff made him look better then he was, but hopefully this adds confidence to his game and he builds off it and settles down. He missed smith for an easy TD that better 7 other ab would have nailed. Not on many days you are going to see so many calls and turn overs go our way but I don't care . Finally something to smile about. I don't think we win many of those games with a better qb playing for the other team, but it's a huge improvement, effort wise, execution wise and the team was jacked up. I can accept losses if we are trying and improving. I can't handle games like the previous weeks. I swear the smith TD was a magic trick. We had to watch that one over and over to make sure it didn't just appear tucked between his arm and body. So when does x get fired ?

I really still think out Oline can't handle a pass rush.. Compared to Montreal and Calgary, our oline folds up, collapses like a broken folding table. I know its garbage time, but when Calgary was only rushing three, the pocket held like the other teams and Willy looked Great by comparison to earlier in the game. Even with Calgary protecting the deep throws willy was accurate at throwing the recievers open. Last week I thought Willy was just ****, but this week i realized that maybe the Oline is still ****, and when they can stop the pressure (against three guys) willy can make accurate, short, mid and long throws even with their defence dropping into zone coverage. So whats the fix to that? Can't really replace the oline mid season. So.. Thanks Walters for this 3 season train wreck. Now WTF is wrong with the defence? Posey and Fogg are getting schooled or we are playing too much zone.. The DL can't get any pressure allowing receivers to get open.. Are we being out coached or do our players suck more then we want to let on..

Maybe it's stilly willy, but when they only rush three for most of the 4th quater willy was on target and making reads and moving the ball really well. the pocket still collapses if Nichole's is in there. I don't get why they didn't put Nichols in in the third to see what he can do.

Or lack of talent. My the team is playing hard to the last minute and there are no stupid taking a knee moments. There is a shortage of talent on the DL,OL,secondary, so that's all on the go. Walters should be fired and hope someone can be brought in to sign better players. Walters has helped with singing free agents, but failed miserably at fixing the weak online. How many times did I watch our cline get held up and Mitchell just sat back their waiting for someone to come open. Then their dline just drills our online back into the pockets. the only time willy had any type of time was when cgy only rushed three, then he threw for huge yardage and on target passes and moved the ball. Why don't we run double type ends to give max pass protection?

Yes. At some point I really hope the bombers rebound. My six year only know that I get angry everytime the bombers play. I try to explai. To him why I don't want to take him to a game his year because I rather save my money and take him to the museum or fun mountain where we will both leave happy and carefree. Ive been a hardcore fan of this team since the 90s but I'm at or very close to my limit. My wife hates me watching the games because I become short and angry during and after most games. Since I can't just enjoy the team win or lose I may just have to stop watching this crap.

Willy was great In a hurried up offence and when calgary only rushed three. This is was a revelation for me. Our online is ******* useless and the root of all our problems. Will looked a like a superstar when the game was out of reach. For me this is on Walters not finding/overpaying/trading assets for an all star onlineman. Willy hasn't lost his touch. Meh just can't play behind a useless online. **** this team and its management

He hasn't fixed the online in three years so he can **** off already. i was sour on drew willy, but after seeing how he played in the third quater when cgy was only rushing three he was making reads and spotting the ball well. So.. **** Walters.

I like oshea but he is not the problem. Walters hasn't found any olinemen in three years. Willy looks like a super star when they only rush three.

At this rate we won't beat anyone this year. We we don't even look like we are playing in the same league
