LAPO has a great understanding of the game and have been and OC for a long time in the leauge.. He knows the CFL very well. JOE mack was Garbage and built a garbage team that was only slightly better then the Mike Kelly Team. I think lapo should have been kept around and Mack should have been replaced by Walters earlier.. I think if Lapo had our current roster he would be doing as good if not better then what we have seen last year under oshea and in his rookie year. I like Oshea though so its no slight against him. The team needs to get better over the season and needs to make the playoffs.. Then Oshea can have another few years to make the team a contender. The main issue i see is that each year we have a new core coach on oc/ or dc or HC. this needs to stop. but it can only stop if we win

That's a lot of moves for a team that is coming off a win. It is, but it was the offence that failed to score..... so without the the Defence and ST coming up with a touchdown each, we would be sitting here bitching about a loss. it could address the issues on offence.. But, i dunno if it was the oline's fault for our lack of red zone production.

We're likely visiting Maui in January. I've been to Maui a few times and always find it relaxing and chilled out. Got invited to the drum circle on the nude beach while i was with my three year old.. Kinda wierd. But.. Maui is a great place to chill out and relax for a couple of weeks.. Last time i was there was november 2013.. Great weather and fun times with the family. Should be going again next winter.

whats the mantra here? the coaches know best and are better at evaluating talent then us armchair Coaches/gms. So.. assuming the above is true then MArve must really suck compared to Brohm, and the Dline, zone coverage players etc must suck. I don't think marve would of won the game, but he is alot more exciting to watch then brohm throwing the ball into the dirt.

Not sure how spearing to the head is not a penalaty.. But slapping a players head with your hand is.

Marve made the pre-season exciting.. he can throw accurately on the run, he can escape the end rush by rolling out and still complete passes. will can be great, at least i hope he can, but Marve almost wills the team to win/move down the field. He made a few really great runs last game where there was no one around him.. He also looked like he was going to be sacked before he rolled out and through to the reciever in the end zone.. Marve extends plays consistently and why he seems more successfull then Brohm last year IMO because when our oline couldn't stop the rush Brohm and even willy were sacked.. Marve has the ability to escape. I don't suggest willy is replaced by Marve, but i would like it to be Marve that comes in when willy isn't able to move the ball for the first 30 minutes of the game.

My son had an okay time.. He was asking if it was almost over during the first quater.. Then i got him a horn and I'm sure he annoyed everyone around us.. but there were other kids with them so i didn't really care.. There were ALOT of empty seats around us.. But since we were so slow leaving the upper deck after the game i noticed they were allowing people on the field which i didn't know was a thing He was very very happy to play on the field for along time. he had a meltdown on the way out of the stadium but it was 3 hours past his normal bed time He Wants to go again.

taking my 4 year to his first game.. bought parking tickets off UC.. so that should be interesting.. No clue what to do Weather networks are calling for sun after 6pm which suggests it won't be raining during the game! WHOOOT>

We never left a game early, because darn it, it was the 1970's and my dad paid dearly for those seats (even if someone gave him tickets) and we were going to watch every second, and if I didn't like it, that was just too bad, no more games for me. Red Forman was kind of the model for dads in the 1970's. Plus, I was never bored so that helped too. From the first play of the first game I ever attended at age 6, I was smitten. I hope your son is too. I get that.. But its supposed to be pouring out and 2-3 hours is a long time to be sitting in one sport for an almost 5 year old.. and i'm not sure how well he is going to do with the crowd.. He was fine at the jets jame and yelled go jets go pretty much the whole time but we were alot closer to the action there. That, and i want him to enjoy it and be up to going with me again.. Be he has been asking for two years but he has yet to watch a whole game with me yet on tv. But he did sit through most of the first preseason game with the choppy feed.. Guess we will find out.. I can always catch a cab or a normal bus back to taylor and pembina.

Victoria Hospital has always had parking available and in my opinion not having to cross Pembina with a child is key. It is an official place to park? IE they have people taking money for game day parking? or what?

How does park and ride work if you need to leave the game early? Is there some place to park within walking distance the game? (even if I have to give my son a piggy back ride)

Wtf? Get off your high horses boys. There Is nothing wrong asking if anyone can get him a discount. This is a close knit community is it not? I'm going with my 5 year old to his first game ever in the stadium this Friday (rain or shine) and was given free tickets to it. I didn't ask for them mind you, but I wouldn't have paid for them. I know he is most likely going to get bored and will want to go home early. How does leaving the game early work if you have to take the park and ride? Normally for event with my kid I would drive to the event but that doesn't seem to be an option at the stadium

Are the bomber cuts legitimate or are they based on the STI test results coming in after the Richards epidemic? Look, I like to know a soon as a player has an STI, but I'm with burgess here, I want decisive action on the Bombers part to cut all those with herpes or even syphilis. The last thing we need is an outbreak of crabs. Make the cuts now, so nothing else is spread. I'm leery of someone who says they don't want extra attention just wants to play football, yet signs up for a reality tv show and agrees to hold a press conference announcing his signing in Montreal. I think if he really didn't want extra attention he might have asked what happens when every other American player who washed out of the NFL before even playing a meaningful game signs in the CFL and said let's do that. I respect that he's being open and there's a risk in that, but it's pretty clear that the media attention is something he's playing into at this point, not trying to avoid.Kind of presumptions for any of us to know the pressures being put on the young man, and undoubtedly being pulled in a million different directions.You can guess his intentions, and you could be right or wrong, but the reality is you have no context to base it in. I doubt Michael Sam asked for a press conference, and I doubt he truly wanted a reality show, quite frankly. So if he chooses to put himself into the eye of the storm, he shouldn't complain that he's there. And by the way, when I say choice, I'm NOT talking about his orientation. This is what drive me nuts about celebrities like Kanye west et al. " don't talk to me!, don't take my picture". If you don't want the attention them change your career or retire into oblivion. They are making millions off of their fans from music purchases, concert tours, producing and even acting.
