BUT.... if willy is out for 5 games, and our playoff hopes are in the balance of winning those games, would i want glen here incase marve falters so he can take over and get some wins like he did in calgary? Sustainability and cap management. Right.. But you don't have to be under the cap until the end of the year.. Sooo.. That gives you alot of time to get it sorted out with injuries etc. Like the move, but not sure why it would be about cap space.

Why do we need to unload salary in order to put out large offers to FA?? The cap doesn't come into play in the offseason? I guess you don't want to cut someone for nothing if the salary cap becomes and issue.. but...

And it tells me you don't understand that not all sacks are the OLs fault. Lots of those sacks are on Willy. Okay say 20 of those sacks are his fault. or say 30 sacks that's between 1 to 1.5 sacks per game that are his fault. That leaves 40-50'sacks that are the oline, or 2.1 sacks a game. Doesn't change the fact that our oline is weak or that out play calling or receivers can't do ****. Willy is better then any qb we had the last three years so keep looking for someone better then him. Nut make sure upgrade everything else. If this team still sucks next year and show little improvement and doesn't make it into the playoffs in 2016 im probably gonna stop watching them. It's not fun to watch your team suck for 5+ years. Gonna have to spend our money somewhere else.

5 wins in a row and lead many comeback charges. Willy looks all around better and lacks the me first personality that Joey had. Our team sucks. It's suck less because we have a good qb. Edmonton was in the same spot last year with reily and turned it around in the offseason. For us to do that we need key upgrades at coaching and player positions. If not willy, then Brohm or marve . All have showed better then anyone since bishop

I think willy is getting mind ****** by his oline. He gets hit all the time and sacked all the time. The oline blws so bad that he's shell shocked a bit. dude gets happy feet like Glenn and Burris and other when he is getting run over. The right outside oline man was brutal. A lot of time there was no one down field open without a defender within a yard or two. Re watch the came guys. Willy was still shitty, but the whole offence was shitty last year and it was again this year minus a great start.

We are a ******* joke. 5+ sacks a game because our receiver can't get open. We can blow the team up for all I care. Build an oline, over pay. Get more receivers. Replace Bryant, Watson etc. **** them all.

This thread is just Crazy. Willy is our Number 1 QB in his FIRST year as a starting Qb.. He needs experience to continue to grow.. we need to play him as he will be the starter next year. Marve showed that he had alot of mobility and drive to extend plays! That is awesome, but so far that's all he has shown. We finally have a QB that that we can Build around (Willy) and we got to keep going with that until Marve outplays him in practise, and in games. When and if Willy Gets hurt, Marve will have another Chance.

Doug Flutie is the greatest QB and player the CFL has ever had.............. not a pocket QB. Warren Moon, Jackie Parker, Damon Allen, Russ Jackson, I can go all day, were not pocket QB's. Ricky Ray, Calvio - best CFL qbs in the past 7 years.. Pocket Passers.

Well.. You can have the best coaches in the league but if you don't have the best players or even good to great players you can't win ****. Our oline hasn't been good.. Which we thought wylie could fix, but the talent isn't there. The d-line requires us to blitz to get pressure, and even then we can't get to the QB. The recievers need work. We need a dominant running back with an oline that can run block. Thats a big list. Do i think the OC and DC are great? no.. No they are not.. But they also don't have the greatest players..
