Have kid. The first few days after birth are pretty demanding and pretty special.. I don't think i could have pulled myself away from my wife and my son to back to work within a day(s).. If this is their first kid, then its even more important that he's there. Women's hormones go crazy after the baby is born and alot of women suffer from post partum depression which can be very very serious. You only have your first born once, and you can only experience it once. No one should be bitching about him missing a game for being with his family.

Brian Brohm hasn't been able to get into the game at any point this season before the end of the third quarter. Aaron Kelly seems to be stagnating, with only 30 TD's so far, not able to keep the two TD a game pace he'd been setting earlier in the season. Drew Willy's play has been lagging of late, with only three TD's and 295 yards of passing in his last outing against Edmonton, where the Bombers barely pulled off a 48 - 12 squeaker against Edmonton. The Bomber defence got really lucky that Mike Reilly threw three pick sixes and also fumbled four times. The O-line also struggled, giving up one whole sack against the vaunted Eskimo D-line; granted it was in the last minute of the 4th quarter, when the team water boy was brought in to play left tackle due to Mike O'Shea losing a bet to Bob Wylie. Still, the Bombers still seem to only slightly be improving over last year, and the 10-6 Stamps should dominate them thoroughly this week. the stupid thing is that there are so many sites the stream the TSN streams for free. I watched both games today on our laptop at the cabin and it was the tsn stream.. close the tricky ads that are there and then site back and enjoy.

Yeah but it has nothing to do with this. You're comparing someone who willfully killed someone, to someone who was just fooling around with a little fire that got out of hand and if there was loss of life, it would have been accidental, but there wasn't so... apples and oranges man. Meh. Getting back to Bryant, lots of people quit their jobs to go somewhere else/ somewhere better. Because they quit on their team of co-workers it doesn't mean they are bad people. U have too look out for yourself, because no one else is going to do that for u. The team was a gong show and it was falling apart. Lots of players wanted out. Lefors refused to come back players trashed Kelly privately. I think people take Bryant quitting on the team personally, like he quit on them when we the fans were suffering. I get how people feel that way, but step back and examine what u would do? Before my current job I had a boss that drove me crazy everyday who was working against me and making arguments about ideas I had to help the company become more flexible while saving money. He would argue that the systems I proposed we use had a different bios manufacturer which make no ******* difference. Finally an opportunity arose for me to make a move to my current company and took a chance. It sucked leaving the family like atmosphere and a lot of co-workers took it personally. But I have no regrets. It catipulted my career. All that being said, Bryant couldn't quit. He could only retire. It's incredibly hard to go into work each day to somewhere you hate working. It's depressing and eats u to your core. I'm sure a majority of people here would never give their job 100% if in a similar situation with no way out. I don't care what u say, I've been there, I've seen other people there. Even the most loyal people cave when they lose hope.

We didn't have the talent last year. Burke is as much a victim of Mac as we all are. But really, admit your mistakes and move in. Don't keep pointing out the obvious. With essentially the same team, lapo had the team playing hard every game. Burke did not.

Well, I might boo him if he dresses for our club. Because Bryant clearly quit on his team-mates last time he was here and in my opinion he doesn't deserve to ever again wear a Blue Bombers jersey. It also bugs me that current management shows such obvious disregard for recent history - and disrespect for fans and former players. They may not be mindful of that - new slate etc. but to bring in a player like Bryant, who demonstrated an utter lack of professionalism while here, borders on arrogance more than desperation. Such arrogance is not a good sign and will inevitably boomerang on Walters, O'Shea and Bellefeuille down the road. You guys have no idea of what a total schmuck Mike Kelly was. I can't blame anyone for not wanting to play for him. You can try and spin it any way you like and no doubt current brain trust will try to do exactly that. But you know what? We've all worked for idiots from time to time. That's no excuse. You still do your job, unless, as demonstrated, you are me-first selfish. Bryant had 20 catches for 232 yards and no touchdowns through 11 games the year Kelly punted him to Stamps. We can do better than Romby Bryant, and bringing him in now is an insult to Bomber supporters and his former team-mates in Winnipeg. No... Alot of people quit when they work for idiots. Players can't quit and find a new job since they are under contract.. Sooooo.. the only way to get out of the situation without retiring is to force the team to trade you. Shitty move on Bryant's part? I guess.. Sure. He let the team down.. But i don't fault the guy. If you can't stand working where you are and you are under contract, the only way out is to force a trade or get cut.

I think buck started more games in the past 5 years then Tate has. So buck would have been Tate light. Not the other way around.
