  1. I just get “left for Calgary..be back soon” when I try to log on..😃
  2. Well if they do as shytty a clearing job as their fellow Albertans in Edmonton for the Grey Cup last year, who knows how the hel the field will turn out.
  3. Well, if her first name is Ali, she might have a bigger effect on him than anything O’Shea could muster up.
  4. This playoff contest represents the 1st time that Winnipeg and Calgary have met in a Semi-Final since 1982. (We won 24-3)Home teams won on EVERY year from 2009 to 2016. But, the ROAD team has won the last two (2017-18).Explosive Play Rushing Hd-to-Hd: Calgary allowed only 4 runs of 20+ yards; Winnipeg was #2 making 17 runs of 20+ yards. CFLgamenotes
  5. And no Rogers for Calgary..
  6. Darrin Bauming*- Expecting Chris Streveler to be on the #Bombers depth chart when it is released later today. Depth chart..yes. Will he play... ?
  7. No, that’s how this siht started. The vote, as is, doesn’t take into account the work that a professional like Medlock does in trying new kicking techniques, and drops, and angles, and spins to get the ball to bounce close to the 5 yard and bounce back towards the kicker. That’s no accident, it’s Medlock. And the cross field kicks inside the 20 yard line, inside the hash marks, is practice and technique. It’s not just kicking the siht out the ball and hoping. But who looks at these aspects really? Coaches for sure and ST guys, but not the voters.
  8. I’d vote for that... if I was allowed.
  9. From a guy who should know..a good read on why Rob Maver doesn’t like the current voting award system for punters...“I would have voted for Justin Medlock for the West Division,” says Maver. “He was second or first in lowest opponent return, he was second in net (yardage), and I think first inside the ten (yard line). Not to take anything away from anybody else, but when I look at how I value the position and how I’ve strived to play it, those are the metrics that I value.”https://3downnation.com/2019/11/08/stampeders-rob-maver-wants-all-star-voters-to-view-punting-differently/
  10. Oh, oh. You had to go and report it, didn’t you Darrin..
  11. Big Chris..little to say, or should I say, allowed to say
  12. Further to Eric Rogers potentially missing this semi final; he’s their leading TD producer in playoff games... Career Playoff Receiving – Eric Rogers has an extraordinary record in playoff games with 8 TDs on only 16 catches. That is by far the most productive scoring record of any player in CFL Playoff history:Career Playoff Receiving – Eric Rogers 16 for 309, 8 TDs; Darvin Adams 11 for 136, 0 TD; Drew Wolitarsky 6 for 81, 1 TD
  13. D.Y.K. That the Bombers ended up in 3rd spot in scoring. Montreal eked us by one point to finish 2nd. Hamilton was firstAnd we finished 3rd in the number of plays run..oddly enough at 1290......6th in yardage...7th in points allowed...6th in yards allowed...7th in TDs allowed...2nd in interceptions ...4th in sacks
  14. Good news for Bomber defenders as it seems no one likes to be playing in Mr. Rogers neighbour hood.
  15. Its obvious now why Logan is so good at avoiding....tacklers
  16. You wouldn’t have any affiliation with Harper’s Bizarre by any chance would you?
  17. But is he still injured? Injured or not. Why is this even brought to attention now? What possible switch could be offered and then, turned down? Backup role? IR? But why would Gaitor kiss his position off so offhandedly with so much yet to come? Principle?
  18. Yes, the words peculiar and odd describe the Gaitor situation perfectly. No longer with the team? Changed Gaitor’s role? Role unaccepted? OK, I have a few more words that come to mind.. Is everybody aware that the playoffs start Sunday?
  19. I like what Steinauer did but, who could have done what Khari did, in that situation, with practically no time to prepare for it. I mean Hamilton already had their team...Khari..not so much.
  20. I could live with that. But, doesn’t have to get approval from the notorious 3 Winnipeg media members...
  21. FTR, popular opinion is you’re mostly contrary to popular opinion, so, once again...😁😉
  22. Steve Bolen: I don’t agree with this at all. This is twice now we’ve seen two coaches be used as fall guys for incompetent roster building from their fellow GM’s. But have fun with.... Jason Maas? Next season! 👁‍🗨I hear ya..
  23. Oh for CRyan out loud. There’s way more to punting than just hoofing the ball. And Ryan is a hoofer. No way he works as hard at his craft than Medlock, who’s always trying something innovative and very much succeeding at doing it. It’s hard to argue a lot of the choices..such as linemen, but it shouldn’t be hard to recognize a master like Medlock. Voters made a mistake on this one.
  24. And those voters are perpetuating that stain on his rep.
  25. Like they were supposed to do? According to who? You? Harris has been incredible this year, and has set standards and records. He deserved recognition from the only people who could give him recognition...Winnipeg media. Where it went from there is irrelevant. It should have been discussed more and a nomination would have done that. He deserves at least that. Even his teammates recognize this and have spoken to it..
