As an aside, would they put out 15,000 Knucklesheads when Bob Irving retires?
-
Exactly. Besides, when you invest in 15,000 Bobbleheads, your die is cast.

DON’T DO THIS!

I don’t really want to say how committed I am to the Bombers. (I mean committed could mean so many things..right?)
-
D.Y.K....⁉️ Winnipeg can finish the year with an 8-1 home record - that would the club record for home victories with 8 The Bombers 151.4 rushing yards per game is #1 in the CFL and the most by a Winnipeg team since 1976 (153.6 per game) Their 65.4 rushing yds per game allowed is #1 too ... & in CFL history is #2 all-time after the 54.5 yards allowed by CGY in 1995 All three of the Blue Bombers' Turnovers last week came in the 2nd half (2 FGs, 1 Punt & 3 T/Os on their 6 drives) Zach Collaros is 3-4 vs Calgary 🙂

No interest in seeing how the QB situation sorts out? No interest in how the game passing turns out with a different passer? No interest in the defensive backfield changes? No interest in whether the D-Line has a better approach this game? No interest in seeing whether Lawler and Bailey continue their stellar play? No interest in seeing a more disciplined game? Interesting...🤔

If that’s what you want to hear. Trouble is he doesn’t have enough of these moments...
-
And the offence improved because of it.. We have the best rushing attack..but it could be more dynamic with the use of the receivers we do have. Bailey and Lawler could help Adams, and even spring the Nationals here and there. We’ll never know about the players we do have until we start pushing them..
-
Is that the defining point of who’s good? Leaving the Bombers and starring somewhere else? Every team has their own good signings, they don’t need any of ours. The difference is those other teams find out, sooner than later, who can cut it and who can’t. The Bombers can’t do that because we really don’t know. And that’s because of the system they play in. You can’t tell me Wolitarsky wouldn’t shine with more receptions. Bailey, Lawler, don’t get nearly enough chances because we’re locked into what we do. Now, I don’t mind a running attack, but you have to leave the playbook open or you’ll get jammed, and jammed we have gotten. Undeveloped talent does not have to leave us and shine elsewhere. What if they’re just remaining under-developed for obvious reasons? Nobody can tell me who’s good or not good through what we’ve seen so far. We only have hints, and hints aren’t doing our passing game any favours.

CFL 3.0?
-
Eliminate.. The PI penalty on the play where BLM is sacked, forcing them to kick, instead, they end up scoring a TD because of that penalty, and we lose. One play away all game long..but we didn’t do it.
-
So, the question becomes, who holds for Medlock now?
-
It’s a “live Mike” moment, of which we have more than a few..
-
It could have been any DB in that situation. I cannot comment on Rios’s overall play.
-
There were plays made all around. The DB did disrupt the receiver’s vision, the receiver knew about where the ball was coming, so, when it hit him in the chest, he closed his hands around it. But, the real playmaker or luck, was the ball thrown by BLM that managed to miss Rios and hit Begelton, all within a couple of seconds.
-
Sorry to hear this. McGuire should get 1st string reps. This is our chance to see him. Collaros can be Zach up..
-
Like him or not, Cody Fajardo surprised everybody this year. Well, at least me. He’s came in and gave the Riders (spit) a chance to win games, and he executed the game plans designed for him. So he gets rewarded. I have no problem with that. I still have my questions on him, but so far, he’s proven us doubters wrong.

If you stare at the word fan for 30 seconds straight you’ll end up reading the word troll...
-
View the video from this angle. Rios was catching up..
-
He saw the play developing. I’m not so sure about seeing the ball all the way. The ball hits him in the chest first, not something that you want, but since he was aware, he made the catch.
-
No way. Look again. He just got back in position. He was chasing and couldn’t have made a play.
-
Rose was beaten pure and simple. If he didn’t slow him down, if caught, it would have a TD. So, either. PI or TD. Rose did what he had to do.
-
Don’t you think visual images are easier for Rider fans?
-
Yeah, despite having the OC place a choke hold on game planning, we’ll still get a glimpse (I hope) of what this guy has..and I believe he has something. Now’s the time to find out. It may be the only good result of having finished so poorly.
-
Rios was playing catch up, no doubt, and when you’re pursuing as he was, looking back is difficult. However, his getting back in position was still a feat and only a great pass beat him.
