Otherwise known as Laing lanes. But that young line is not the only line to get victimized by that brute. It will duly be noted in film study and having been seen in live action, it’ll be easier to keep in mind to correct. Trial by fire, and as a group, they didn’t collapse as did some other O-Lines we’ve witnessed lately.
-
On the other hand, what a perfect time to get ready for that level of play.
-
I do think enough mistakes were made to make a case that they haven’t played their best yet. That means 60 minutes of football. And that’s true also. It is a team game.
-
60 Minutes Still waiting for that game..
-
These mistakes/execution missteps won’t hurt us this game, But, we cannot do that against a good team. It was a good practice.
-
Not this poster.

Execution matters in any game. And that’s what the Bombers are aiming for. Proper execution can beat any team...good or bad.
-
Argos should save that 13 man formation for our kick returns. 😂
-
At this rate, we’ll get killed on possession time
-
Might have to adjust my score cast. 😁

It was cool, but I can’t believe there’s so little footage on that game. Too bad for the fans of the CFL. Lucky for me I was there. Couldn’t believe it then, and I consider myself fortunate to have witnessed pass after pass after pass. Dunigan. What a performance!

Nichols - not ready to move on. He’s found his grove there in the ‘Peg. Streveler - I’m not convinced he wants to move on next year. He’s got a good thing going here, and I think he knows it. But, outside factors might move the pieces around. McGuire - like what I see in this guy. Could be the future. Factors - of course, the SMS and perhaps the 2 QB roster situation. Nichols and McGuire? I can see it. And that’s not a knock on Streveler. Boy, QB questions like these are so much better than in the recent past. 😀

Motivating a defence with inspirational speeches works when the rest of the team is doing their jobs because you’re only responsible for your area. Its quite different when you’re responsible for all areas. Claybrooks is now realizing this. Hervey is responsible for the talent (or lack thereof) but somebody should have realized that they were a bit far off in preparation. That somebody is Claybrooks. I was expecting BC to challenge Saskatchewan for fourth place, but they’re utterly unprepared in a few areas and it’s killing them. BC plays Saskatchewan next weekend, and the weekend after. That’s their season right there...already. If they don’t take care of business, nobody will care if you can’t rhyme anything with orange 🍊

“If we just play our football and focus on us, we’ll be alright. Obviously, we’ve done our homework on where to attack them, but if you focus on the other team too much or something like your own personal goals then you’ve already lost that week. Pay attention to your details and what we need to do.” - Nic Demski 👁🗨 I like the sound of the bolded part..🏈😉 https://www.cfl.ca/2019/07/12/3-storylines-watch-bombers-vs-argonauts/?hootPostID=73ead752b95c3e7a72be74e70e815a0c

I’m predicting no Bighill tonight. So, for the Argos, obviously, one less hill to climb. Still, Toronto playing the Bombers is like climbing a mountain without the proper equipment.
-
In B.C., it IS all about the caps and hats..
-
I seriously doubt we’ll willingly let McGuire run the offence at all tonight. Not that there’s anything wrong with that.. No. I don’t want anything remotely close to a one score game, never mind a one point game..😉 Streveler can do whatever Nichols does because he’s a highly valued prospect. But, in a game situation we’re talking experience, and Streveler isn’t there yet. But, each time he goes in, he gets it. If we see Streveler tonight, it’ll be because the situation is under control and it won’t be on a full time basis. 🏈 I don’t say nay, but rather, na...for now.
-
That’s because he’s not up front. He’s behind the scenes, you know, managing..
-
Perhaps there’s a miscommunication in the BC film room. It’s the DEFENCE that supposed to limit the amount of points scored against you, not the OFFENCE limiting the amount of points scored for you... Repeat.. And you can be assured that next year the O-Line will be required to show up at training camp at the same time as the others..

“That’s an embarrassing game. That’s one of the most embarrassing games I have ever been a part of. (We were) just getting physically manhandled, all 12 guys on the field, offence, defence, special teams. It can’t get worse than that. so it has to get better. It’s up to us to make the changes necessary and figure out how to get better.” - Mike Reilly "This is the tipping point of the season. Do we reload and answer or do we wallow in self-pity," said Lions head coach DeVone Claybrooks. 👁🗨 Self-pity oh crooked hat, self-pity.

Boy, those back to back games at the end of the month between BC and Saskatchewan are going to be riveting..🏈 😳😩😴
-
One thing the Lions did accomplish, they turned Harris into a game manager...276 yards passing and 2 TDs. Mike Reilly meanwhile had 157 yards passing...total. That’s like a couple of passes each to Derel Walker and Williams last year.
-
BC should play for the tie. They’re better at it.
-
Let’s not get Riderish.. Its too lame.
-
Of all the teams to activate only 2 QBs on the depth chart, it shouldn’t be B.C.
