  1. For spot duty, Wilson was always close to the action and was in on several tackles last year. Good cutoff, good pursuit seems to know his assignments. Even in preseason this year, he was among the top tacklers. Positioned last year to play more until Bighill came to town and now has emerged as the leading candidate to keep his position.
  2. ??? Say what...
  3. Yes, I’m very very 😟 worried.. Did I mention worried?
  4. Nice..real nice!
  5. “Now that we have our roster, I definitely feel like, on paper, we have a better roster than we did last year,” began the Bombers middle linebacker and the Canadian Football League’s Most Outstanding Defensive Player. “That’s not a slight on anything on anyone. It’s just about the new guys that have come in and the pieces we’ve added. Now, of course, it all comes down to putting it together on the field. We have expectations of what we want to do. Now it’s time to do it.” https://www.bluebombers.com/2019/06/11/skys-limit-2019-bombers-look-talented-deep/ No doubt Adam, no doubt..
  6. If you watched the Stamps-Lions game on Saturday, you’d have noticed quite a few low snaps. That’s because Cody Husband retired and Hunter Stewart has been trying his hand at it. So, what does Hervey do? Snaps a centre off the Eskimos PR.. I’m sure the Bomber Coaching staff has taken note of that situation.
  7. Other interesting poll numbers: Which team will win the 107th Grey Cup presented by Shaw in Calgary? (48 votes) 29% Calgary Stampeders and Winnipeg Blue Bombers (14 votes each) Winnipeg will win it’s first Grey Cup since 1990. Matt Nichols may not be the marquee quarterback but he is efficient and a strong leader. O’Shea teams play tough defence. And the Bombers are due. The CFL’s loudest..and most patient fans deserve to drink from the Cup again.” – Dave Jamieson, TSN 1260 Other poll questions: Who will win the Most Outstanding Player in 2019? (48 votes) Which player is most likely to have a breakout season in 2019? (46 votes) Which team made the best overall moves this offseason? (50 votes) Which one player acquisition will make the biggest impact in 2019? (49 votes) And others.. A good read with selected comments.
  8. Matthews was considered questionable anyways because they figure to let him heal seeing as we have a bye in the second week. He should be ready week 3. BTW, Winston Rose is practising. Humes is not. Neither is Janke.
  9. BOO! Bob Irving (@BobIrvingCJOB) Tweeted: Pat Neufeld and Chris Mathews not practicing with Bombers. Questionable for Friday.
  10. Q? Who are they referring to when the Coaches use this statement? “He has a unique skill set” 👁‍🗨 Is it just me who thinks the BC Lions’s helmets were all a little askew the other night against Calgary? 👁‍🗨 Eskimos kicker Sean Whyte: 'The cancer that was in the dressing room is gone' 👁‍🗨🏈 The Canadian Football League is moving up the start time of the June 13 regular -season-opening game in Hamilton between the Tiger-Cats and Saskatchewan Roughriders to 7 p.m. easter time from 7:30 p.m. (Toronto can’t do anything right it seems.) Mike Sherman "I don't agree with the decision, but it wasn't mine to make," he said. - (Herb Zurkowsky)
  11. I don’t understand it either.
  12. Hamilton is going to be a very good team - finalists in the East. I expect them to beat Sask. on Saturday.
  13. We gave McGuire the Bennett of a doubt..
  14. Further proof that Rashaun’s heart really wasn’t into the Winnipeg football club. In my opinion, his belief was that he couldn’t outdo what the other NI were doing. That’s not confidence. I know the lure of hometown can be strong and maybe he s thinks that starting over will give him the best chance.
  15. Deeisms - IVIGing 👁‍🗨I have a hard time believing Collaros will be QBing a team to another 12-4 record this season. And that’s playing 16 games.. 👁‍🗨BC doesn’t have a bonafide centre as yet. Maybe we can take advantage of that this Saturday. Learning to snap properly, then blocking on our DLine will be challenging. 👁‍🗨If Masoli gets protection this season, Hamilton has an easier path to 1st place in the East 👁‍🗨Derel Walker gives the Argos a chance to compete this year. Him and the fact they play in the same division as Ottawa and Montreal 👁‍🗨 The Montreal Alouettes have listed Antonio Pipkin as the No. 1 quarterback on the team’s depth chart. And named the 23-year-old Pipkin the starting QB. Unless,of course, that changes right before the game. 👁‍🗨Forgeti Foketi. We have to. 👁‍🗨Figures that WR Josh HUFF made the Stampeders 👁‍🗨Congratulations to Matt Dunigan - One of North America's great quarterbacks, former @LATechFB star @MattDuniganTSN went on to become a @CFL Hall of Famer. He now joins ours! #Classof2019 - Louisiana Hall of Fame 👁‍🗨Europeans who made the cut: Active Roster: Max Zimmermann (Germany) – Saskatchewan Roughriders Thiadric Hansen (Germany) – Winnipeg Blue Bombers Kimi Linnainmaa (Finland) – Toronto Argonauts Maxime Rouyer (France) – Edmonton Eskimos Practice Roster - Valentin Gnahoua (France) – Hamilton Tiger-Cats
  16. Re: Coombs To the shock of many, the Argos tried to move Anthony Coombs to wideout. Under the team’s previous regime led by GM Jim Barker, the Argos viewed Coombs, a Canadian, as an Andre Durie type who can line up in the backfield or move to the slot position. Coombs is a lot of things, but he’s not a wideout. Sadly, he’s been plagued by injury, but in the right system Coombs is a valuable piece. https://torontosun.com/sports/football/cfl/toronto-argonauts/argos-trim-their-roster-but-more-moves-looming#click=https://t.co/kJS2edbjaG Injury, my underlining concern...
  17. So, you were never “here” to begin with Rashaun?
  18. Now we know the real reason Simonise was released... Chris Mathews #13 😁
  19. Seeing as he’s played football around these parts, it comes as no surprise to surface here, but I just don’t know about Simonise. Potential..but why hasn’t it happened yet? Why not force your team to have a tougher decision on keeping you as opposed to releasing with question marks? Petermann clearly outperformed him and that’s what counts for the Bombers..
  20. “Several reports have surfaced suggesting that players weren’t happy with the way they were being treated by Sherman. According to the information I’ve obtained since the announcement was made by the team, those stories are accurate.” Some key leaders on the team weren’t happy about the way Sherman was running things from the sideline. From practices to overall attitude, the players felt like their head coach wasn’t looking out for them. Once a few important pieces of the roster get together on behalf of the team and start demanding change at such an important position, it’s hard to ignore. The team and the league had no choice but to go down this road. https://3downnation.com/2019/06/09/why-mike-sherman-is-no-longer-coaching-alouettes/
