  1. This is so weird. It’s like a playground for you. Can’t think of a rebuttal? Just regurgitate the words you see. What next? Nyah, nyah?
  2. Caused by a good game plan and a ferocious effort...Why is that so hard to admit?
  3. Remember when we always say, when a guy sits out a game because of injury - “if it was a playoff game, he would have played”? Well this is a playoff game - he will play.
  4. We just read another Winnipeg folk story. But this one is devoid of impartiality and originality. The analysis is flawed and one-sided..in the other direction. Same old, same old..
  5. After week 20 Bye, bye - Hamilton, BC, and Montreal Expect the Heisman Trophy winner @JManziel2 to sign in Hamilton this off-season - @rickzamperin #CFL #Ticats John Hodge - 3downnation - The Bombers have now started three Canadian offensive linemen in two consecutive games with Patrick Neufeld filling in for an injured Travis Bond at left guard. This is likely a sign of things to come for a Winnipeg club that should look to start three national hogs next season. Neufeld, who has been excellent in place of Bond, is a pending free agent — should he leave Winnipeg this off-season, expect 2015 second round pick Michael Couture to take over his spot in the starting line-up. ?‍?Interesting - Edmonton has beaten every team in the league...except Winnipeg ?‍?Santos-Knox is fitting in quite nicely..quite a find. CFL - Friday wire-to-wire defeat was also the first time in 52 contests the Stampeders have not led. ?‍?How do spell trouble? Z_y_l_s_t_r_a Double trouble - injury to Matt Nichols Vanstone - Due to an accumulation of snow on the east-side roof, 800 spectators were relocated in Mosaic stadium. Still trying to prove something? Jones “The tough guy look...” CFL News - Roughriders extend Hus, Thigpen fw.to/wcCVgXD #CFL #Riders #RiderPride via @TSN_Sports ?‍?Guess they’re not over the SMS Stampeders.com - “I told the guys,’’ reported Bo Levi Mitchell. “Who’s going to remember this —— when we win the Grey Cup? “Who’s going to remember these three losses? Darren Cameron - Update from ticketing - “tickets are moving like crazy”... not surprising and awesome to hear! See you Sunday for the Western Semi-Final! ?‍?Really? Ed Tait tells us: The Bombers own a .683 winning percentage in 60 home playoff games (40-18-2). Edmonton is 19-29 (.396) in road playoff games. Nevis was credited with just one tackle, but he drew three holding penalties with his push and was part of a defensive effort that limited the Stamps to 158 yards net offence and held battering-ram running back Jerome Messam to just 30 yards on 12 carries and zero yards on three receptions. “Drake’s an animal,” said Okpalaugo. “He’s so strong. You should see him tossing people in practice, man.” ?‍?I’d like once again, to voice my support for Andrew Harris as the team’s most outstanding player. Rushing leader and new record for receptions? Most receptions in the entire league? Wow! But I didn’t have a vote. CFL News - "There was never that energy, never that sense of urgency." - @mannyshow84 pic.twitter.com/51RfXzmGtd #CFL #BCLions #Argos via @BCLions ?‍?Under the category of not likely... Drew Edwards - Close to a half dozen players who spoke to the Spectator say they believe Austin’s return would significantly reduce the likelihood of several prominent free agents-to-be re-signing with the club as well the team’s ability to recruit players from around the league. They also believe it’s unlikely June Jones will return if Austin remains in his current role. (Speedy (Banks) has been telling everybody that he won’t re-sign if Kent is still around in any capacity,” one player said. “I think some other guys are in the same boat.”) Caretaker Bob Young - “Where is the love for a coach who took @Ticats to @CFL Grey Cup twice in four seasons?” “This is just sad. A cowardly Ticat player, maybe two, complain anonymously to a naive journalist about a former coach.” Bomber info... 6. And the title is less than a paragraph long...?
  7. Court jester outfit? The man froze, but is too arrogant to admit it. Here’s 2 pics. Tell me who wore it better, Loffler or Jones? .......
  8. ........Spoiler alert ? This content contains personal observations... ?‍?I’m beginning to think that that our defence was built specifically for this type of game. The weather conditions fed right into the kind of game that the Bombers are strong at. Plenty of pressure up front, plug the running gaps, cover the deep threat and hover in position to get the turnover. Well executed. ?‍?Love Westerman, but Okpalaugo and Jeffcoat looked dynamic out there, and, they were having a ball. Plus 5 sacks. ?‍?Superb effort by Andrew Harris, but nothing else is to be expected by him.. ?‍?The big guy (Messam) couldn’t get the proper leverage to do anything out there, and we were all over him. Not built for those conditions. ?‍?Scary first thoughts. On the initial kicks, Fogg seemed to have more trouble foot wise than Finch...but that did change. ?‍?When did I know we would win? Right after the pick six.. ?‍?7 works for me. As in 7 sacks and 7 turnovers.. Calgary had allowed only 23 sacks in the last 17 games... ?‍?QB efficiency Winnipeg 88% Calgary 34.7% ?‍?41 defensive tackles for the Blue. One more than Singleton normally gets ? CFL- The CFL has provided in-depth penalty information since 2009 breaking them down by Offence, Defence and Special Teams. The Bombers have committed just 17 penalties on Special Teams coverage and return units in 2017 and that is by far the lowest since recording began in 2009 Calgary - They have scored just 3 offensive TDs in their last 45 drives. Winnipeg - They have scored just 4 offensive TDs in their last 52 drives. Winnipeg’s possession time increased by 10 minutes this last game against Calgary. (22 to 32) ?‍?You have to ask...would LaPo seriously consider working for Reed? LaPo doesn’t like turnover(s) ?‍?Not a bad effort by #33.. ?‍?Decent game by LeFevour, but still not convinced Davis couldn’t have done the same..
  9. Why must there always be a ‘but’ from you after a Bomber victory?
  10. Well, there you go. It seemed to me that it’s been perceived as being stale and the interest level was tapering off. It takes all week to gather, edit and format that topic and I thought I’d give it a rest. For the fans that do miss it, we’ll see how it goes. I really appreciate those who did follow and even notice it was gone.
  11. Singleton is one of the most impressive newcomers to come into the league, no doubt. A real stud. And he should be rewarded, but not for everything. One simply cannot dismiss what Harris has accomplished this year and what he has meant to our offence. He’s dynamic and a focal point in a lot of what we do. That makes him a target. A target for guys like Singleton. And yet Harris perseveres, against stacked odds. A team cannot target and go after Singleton. He’s a free flowing prototypical MLB. Trained in the US. A guy EVERY team would love to have, But Harris isn’t too shabby either, and faces greater roadblocks. He has to be in contention simply because he deserves it.
  12. OK, now it matters to me....where we finish. I want to host the semi-final with the Green slime as the opposition. It would be fitting to shut their petty mouths.
  13. Ok now this is a statement designed to evoke negative responses. It’s pretty obvious that each team owns its own records, both good or bad. Cockiness will not help your case. It’s part of the reason fans don’t consider Saskatchewan with the term Ridernation as much as abomination.
  14. What the hell on that review. Did the C’mon Centre invade hockey now? Bullshirt call on that disallowed goal..
  15. We can only hope that the field and weather conditions described for Friday’s game played a big part in the decision to start Dan L. As O’Shea called it..a mudder game. Looks like light snow and cold. Is LeFevour the tonic to supply a win for those conditions? Or is Calgary starting Buckley the right medicine for what ails us?
  16. On the decision to start he with the capital L and capital F the coaching staff mentions: -“He’s been in the league for six seasons, dressing for 71 games and will make his eighth career start in Cowtown, while Davis has one career start and 47 games under his belt in his three years in Winnipeg.” -“LeFevour did take more snaps, coming into games as a short-yardage specialist, and occasionally staying in games after converting those situations to run a hurry-up attack.” -“You go back and look at his entire body of work and there are games that he’s played where he’s really moved the ball, took care of the football, made plays off schedule,” - O’Shea. -“We certainly evaluated what happened after the game and we felt that Dan brings some things that other quarterbacks don’t in our system so we felt he deserved the opportunity to play,” added offensive coordinator Paul LaPolice. -“(Experience) matters at any position, maybe more so at the quarterback position. There’s a certain level of comfort that comes with experience, just the idea that you’ve been there and done it, seen more pictures and played more snaps.”-O’Shea And there it is. Experience. You know, like preparing for a CFL football game. And starting a CFL football game. Chances like this don’t come along very often for the #2 QB in the system. And Davis gets bypassed. So remind me again how Davis is supposed to get this experience... Past game experience is important they tell me, but I guess the recent game experience for LeF shows....what again? I get they want to win this game, but I’m not convinced this is the way to go about it.
  17. What you’re missing means you haven’t been paying attention all year long. The Bombers don’t jump out of the gate in a football game. The 1st quarters are worth exactly that...25 cents. And where did that get us? Oh yeah 11 wins. There absolutely no reason not to believe that Nichols woud have got us there again. He played TWO series and got us 6 points. Down 14-6.. With our main man in there, the defence, logically, could have stayed off the field more and more. Do you not see the correlation? The imbalance in yardage has happened before in games...games that we have won. Sure, the result stunk, but if you can’t see how the results would have been different with Nichols in there..you know, Matty Ice, then what can I say? The game is over, time to put your routing pouting to rest.
  18. This is a fail. While other teams have tested, or are now testing their #2s, we are floating the prospect that Davis can’t get it done. Must make Davis feel pretty good. This can only mean that Davis will not be back next year. What other reason could there be? We know what LeFeve can do, and still we will trot him out there... I’d really rather see P Nelson if they’re not going to get serious about the QB futures...
  19. I don’t think it’s ridiculous either. We should start Davis. All year, and last, we were waiting for the opportunity to play Davis...to see what he can provide. There is no better chance than now. Is he worth keeping? Why would we keep Davis as a backup when we don’t trust him to play? We need that information. Our history of not finding that backup QB, who can step in, is checkered at best. But now is not the time to play checkers. Think ahead. Plan accordingly. Davis has been around long enough. Play him.
  20. So, what you’re predicting is that the Bombers will be out of the playoffs after that time period. Nice call Bomber fan...?
