Here's a good read on former 5 CFL players or prospects who have been released from camps, including Andy Mulumba. -
Now that was a game that was as anti-entertaining and a polar opposite to games involving the Bombers. Some aspects of Montreal's O-Line showing reminded me of our O-line woes not so very long ago. Both QBs had no time to rotate the ball before being pressured. Willy must have felt right at home. Durant is showing that he better have a good line or else he is hugely ineffective. Mind you, it would help if his receivers actually caught the frigging ball. Hello there Sam Giguere! Montreal also proved that if you get 5 penalties on one drive alone...you're not going to do well. Very undisciplined play from the boys. That Montreal offence was chunky bad. You know you're in trouble when the bottom line shows the 2 leading rushers were the QBs for a total of 33 yards. And Ernest Jackson, only 2 receptions? He's probably saying"get me outta here" And the faux pas of the week - the play that never was, or, the unseen challenge. So, a play gets run off, and is unsuccessful, but they then see the flag was thrown and the C'mon Centre rules he threw the flag in time, and they rule its still 2nd down...the previous play gets lost in a time warp. A do over...as in pick up games. There's so many things that could have occurred during that absentee play..a TD, a pic, another Coach hired by Hamilton, anything. But, it never happened. I never saw it. I swear.

Glenn, yes Glenn, is having an excellent year. They've put him in an Offence that he thrives in, and he has the receivers in the lineup who compliment everything he's doing. Marshall doesn't hurt either. I know it's the popular thing to say it's Glenn, he'll revert, but I don't see that aspect in his game yet. We're playing a team who feel good right now, but then, so are they playing a team with good vibes. Good vibes will help carry the Riders but, we've already seen that once this year..on Canada ?? Day, in their brand new stadium...where they had all the advantages. And we held fast. We can do it again.. -

The return of the draw. Passes, Quick slants. And, of course our patented hurry up Offence . I agree that the Riders will be pumped, and the best way to offset that is to take advantage of it. Let them charge, Let them blitz. Let's just use their pumped up energy and deflect it. Win special teams and cut down on penalties, and we'll be alright. That closed practice from yesterday means something. Hope it works out... -

Yes, it's true. He picks the Riders all the time. Even in the bye week. He just thinks the Riders are playing out of town when it says bye. -
Anybody from another team gets my initial acceptance depending on the tone of their posts. Usually, things go smoothly as long as they don't mention breakfast items when talking about our QB. I still say, if you want respect..earn it, sparring is fine, if you know how. As far as szaroz71 is concerned, if that's his family name, then, I would feel bad for revealing his family lineage. I'm not convinced that that is the case. I wouldn't put it past a Rider fan to gloat about putting that translation on a Bomber site.

FOR THE H Let's see now. Hamilton has worked out Johnny Manziel, hired a Coach with a History, had their Head Coach sued by his former employer, ....fired their defensive Co-ordinator, ....traded John Chick and ....demoted their #1 QB...who was offered up for trade this week The year from Hell I get it! Hamilton - For the H (Word just came out of Hamilton that Head Coach Kent Austin has demoted himself again...will now be known as Ken Austin.) -
The Bombers last played Aug. 24. That gives Paul LaPolice more than enough time to moohaha with the playbook in order to baffle and confuse the Rider D. The Bombers are going to figure out a game plan for these rider guys and the roster LaPo decides on, will feature the players who would better fit his mad cap scheme. The Bomber offence is diverse, and we all know what Diversity gives you....

That was overstated. I believe he means that he would be eligible for review regarding the accusation. It would follow policy.. -
I have no issue either way with the Lankford dilemma. He hasn't proven to be a good enough receiver yet, but there can be no denying he is doing well as a returner. He's right up there in return yards, and his speed gets him there, blocking notwithstanding. Taking him out doesn't bother me either, if it allows for a package of receivers that can do well against the Riders. I don't see any problem with us having this problem, if it can even be called that.

OTTAWA AT MONTREAL - Thursday, August 31st – 7:30 p.m. ET This marks the 20th occasion that the Alouettes and teams from Ottawa will meet on Labour Day Weekend and the second consecutive year they’ve met. Ottawa holds the slight edge (10-9) in the series, and has scored only five more points than Montreal (387-382). More than half of the games in this series have been decided in the last three minutes. *In last year’s game on Mark’s Labour Day Weekend, the REDBLACKS relied heavily on Ernest Jackson who had five receptions for 109 yards and a touchdown. This time around, Jackson will be playing for the Alouettes. Nik Lewis also had a big game last year when he recorded 10 receptions for 92 yards and a touchdown. In these teams’ first meeting of the season during Week Five, Ottawa won 24-19 in Ottawa. Since 2014 Montreal is 4-6 versus Ottawa; six of those games were decided by eight points or fewer. This season, nine of Ottawa’s 10 games have been decided by seven points or fewer. Montreal has had seven games decided by seven points or fewer. An Ottawa win would give them first place in the East Division with nine points. A Montreal victory would have the Alouettes leap-frog the REDBLACKS for second place in the East, as they’re tied with Toronto at 4-6 with Toronto playing on Monday. REDBLACKS receiver and Peterborough, Ontario native Brad Sinopoli will play in his 100th CFL Game on Thursday. Boris Bede’s 69.8 yard kickoff average is the highest in CFL history and on pace to break the CFL record of 67.9 yards set by Jamie Boreham in 2010. Game Notes - CFL.ca Staff

It's a real pleasure to be discussing who comes out of the lineup because of good play, rather than arguing who should go into the lineup from a cast of questionables...

What's up with the Banjo Bowl selling out before the Labour Day Classic? Tickets haven’t sold out for the 2017 Labour Day Classic between the Saskatchewan Roughriders and Winnipeg Blue Bombers. http://www.cjme.com/2017/08/29/tickets-to-labour-day-classic-still-available/ I don't want to hear anymore crap from that fan base about their great support.

According to CFL.ca Staff: OTT @ MTL The Ottawa REDBLACKS are learning how to win close games. That was the case again in Week 10 after almost letting a 28-point lead slip against the BC Lions — but a clutch late turnover helped them hang on for their second straight victory. On Thursday, against an Alouettes team that is particularly stingy at home, Trevor Harris and co. will be put to the test again in a fight for second in the East. The Als won’t make it easy. Remember the last time they played back in Week 5? The Als lost on a late third-down gamble by five points — despite losing the turnover battle 5-0. Expect another last-minute decision to kick off Week 11. PICK Writers: 86% Ottawa Fans: 66% Ottawa WPG @ SSK The precursor to the Banjo Bowl may take top billing this Labour Day Weekend. Some of the names have changed over the past year but the rivalry between the Bombers and Riders is taking centre stage in the highly-competitive West Division. And on Sunday, heading into a home-and-home, both teams have a lot to prove. The Bombers have won five straight games and are within an inch of first in the entire league. The Riders have outscored their opponents 95-39 over the last two games while eclipsing 40 points in both contests. Oh, and the first time these teams met in Week 2, the first game at the new Mosaic Stadium, they combined for 83 points in a 43-40 Bombers overtime win. PICK: Writers: 71% Saskatchewan Fans: 57% Saskatchewan EDM @ CGY The Alberta rivals have been evenly-matched over the past few years. Except on Labour Day. The Stamps have won five consecutive fall classics over the Eskimos by a combined score of 157-108 — an average margin of nine points — while the last three decisions have come by two scores or more. Mike Reilly, who has never won on Labour Day, looks to reverse a couple of trends on Monday against a Stampeders team that is lights out at home. Whoever wins in Week 11 could shift the balance of power in the West and really turn up the pressure heading into the second half of a key home-and-home. PICK Writers: 100% Calgary Fans: 80% Calgary TOR @ HAM A lot has happened in Hamilton since the Ticats’ 37-18 loss to the REDBLACKS in Week 9, including a coaching change, some coaching controversy and a swap at quarterback. Monday’s Labour Day Classic presents a chance for the Tabbies to put all of that behind them and finally play some football. The Ticats would like nothing more than to pick up win No. 1 of the season while, at the same time, knocking Ricky Ray and the Argos out of first in the East. Expect an emotional Monday in the Hammer. PICK Writers: 86% Toronto Fans: 78% Toronto
