  1. #CFL largest margin of victory... 68 pts Montreal 82, Hamilton 14 (1956) 60 Edmonton 63, Ottawa 3 (1995) 59 Calgary 60, Hamilton 1 (2017)
  2. Yeah, it's almost like they saw the highlights of J Sears huge mistake and were ever so despondent after that.. I can't believe Hamilton is not trying out another QB for a change, cause Collaros ain't gonna do it. Better to save him for their upcoming whomping in Edmonton.
  3. Every time they show the Ticat sideline, I'm surprised it's not Tim Burke Coaching over there..
  4. I really like this tweet:
  5. I have to say it was a huge coincidence that the VISITORS dressing room, in that oppressive heat, was not working...
  6. Thanks Johnny. Guess you don't know how to play touch football eh? Now we have to put up with the bullfrog headed our way from Rider fans and that insufferable Carter..
  7. That was an insane catch by SJ Green. Between 2 defenders? WOW!!
  8. Argos vs Riders CFL Game Notes The Argos, coming off of a 27-24 last-second field goal win over the Ottawa REDBLACKS, have won five of their last seven over the Riders, including three of their last four in Saskatchewan. There have been only 81 Sacks made this season in 21 games, a rate of 3.95 per game – the second lowest in CFL history since the stat became official in 1980. Argos head coach Marc Trestman was rewarded with his 62nd career win last week, pushing his career record to 62-33. Argos DE Shawn Lemon will make his return to the Regina for the first time since being traded to Toronto on July 2, 2016, in exchange for OL Matt Sewell and INT QB Mitchell Gale. Since arriving in Toronto just over a year ago, the 2016 East Division All-Star has 29 tackles, 17 sacks and five forced fumbles with the Double Blue. 30k+: Edmonton (#1) and Saskatchewan (#2) as usual lead the CFL in attendance thus far averaging 34,044 and 33,200 per game. The Riders defence has started well allowing only 328 yards of net offence to their opponents to rank #3 overall. They have given only one rushing TD and the fewest first down in the league thus far (74). However, they have only 5 QB Sacks made (#8) and 22 QB Pressures (#8) in 4 games. Naaman Roosevelt - 15 clutch catches: Started off slowly this year but over the last 3 games has been hot. He has been targeted 29 times, caught 22 of them for 283 yards. The stats that jumps out is that two weeks ago 7 of his 10 receptions went for key 2nd down conversions - a high for any player in the CFL in 2017. He leads the CFL with 15. One of the key differences between these two clubs thus far has been forcing and taking advantage of opponent turnovers. Toronto has forced a CFL-best 10 turnovers and cashed those into 26 points. Saskatchewan has forced a league- low 4 Opponent Giveaways worth just 7 points in 4 games. Greg Morris: Comes into this game with 385 yards on 14 kickoff returns. That equates to 1,732 yards over a full season, well ahead of the Rider record of 1,231 yards set by Willis Jacox in 1991.  Cameron Marshall: Leads the Riders in rushing at #5 in the CFL (206 yards) but has also been a key receiver. He has 17 catches on pace for 77 - that would be well on the way to the CFL record which is also held by a Rider, Craig Ellis in 1985 (102).  Duron Carter: Was held to just 2 receptions for 12 yards last week and was targeted only 5 times. Jones said something the Riders did learn from facing Calgary was how its receivers were able to initiate contact with opposing defensive backs while running their pass routes in order to draw pass interference or illegal contact penalties. - http://regina.ctvnews.ca/chamblin-set-to-return-to-regina-but-as-toronto-argonauts-defensive-co-ordinator-1.3523172#_gus&_gucid=&_gup=twitter&_gsc=qbnhrIX Toronto’s Ricky Ray is on pace to pass for 6,826 passing yards this season, which would break the CFL All-Time record set by Doug Flutie in 1991 (6,619). Ray recorded his fifth-straight game of 300+ yards. His passing yards totals so far in 2017 are 506, 323, 366, 330 and 367. He is now the all-time passing completion percentage leader with 68.0%. ?‍? The majority of fans/writers are picking Toronto to win. Will we be right?
  9. All I can say is, all that is wrong with CFL challenges was fully evident in this game, where a couple of similar calls, were interpreted in two different ways, and BC suffered mightily because of the inconsistency. It directly affected the score, giving Edmonton a TD, and extending their lead. It really looks like it's time to go back to the past and get rid of a problem (reviews) that is becoming bigger than the game..
  10. The only "objective" in your post(s) is to ignore evidence, and provoke. No thanks..
  11. Bullfrog. There is ample evidence already provided on this forum from a TSN technician, stating emphatically, that after several different angle looks, Harris was never seen to be down. If you have been following the game threads, you would have seen that. And by the way, how does your opinion that his elbow was down, mean, in any way, that it is an objective opinion?
  12. Cool and, of course, well done. I always appreciate the effort put into making this site even better than its current status as #1. ✔️???
  13. I believe that was the game where Poplawski kicked the ball left-footed, because he was soccer savvy, and it was totally unexpected. We recovered and went on to win that game.
  14. Dear Gotmilt "We can talk about the other stuff tomorrow and fix it, but you can’t take anything away from that effort and the finish and the win and they should celebrate it tonight with their teammates because that was incredible.” – Mike O’Shea.
  15. BIG GAME ALERT! By The Numbers - CFL STAFF 3 – Special teams categories in which the Eskimos sit dead last (punt average, kickoff average, punt-return average). 5 — League-high rushing touchdowns for BC’s Jeremiah Johnson. 31:57 — Average possession time between Edmonton (31:54) and BC (32:00), the two teams who’ve enjoyed the highest share of the football in the CFL. 86.9 – QUAR rating for Edmonton’s Mike Reilly, second only to Ottawa’s Trevor Harris. The Eskimos started 2017 with a win on the road at BC to take a 1-0 lead and can wrap up the season series with BC (gaining a potentially valuable tie-breaker) this week. Edmonton has won 6 of the last 8 games in this matchup including wins in 4 of the 5 games started by Jonathon Jennings. Mike Reilly Ints: The Esks' QB has yet to throw an interception 4 games and 140 passes into 2017 and in any of his last 6 starts (211 attempts) BC's Solomon Elimimian leads not only in tackles but in total defensive plays as well. To his 40 defensive stops, you can add 3 QB Pressures, a fumble recovery and a Tackle for Loss for 45 in total, one ahead of Kyries Hebert at 44. The Lions offence is #1 in the CFL at 405.4 yards per game while Edmonton's is at #6 (367). BC's 21% via the rush is #4 in the CFL while Edmonton's 23% trails only Montreal (27% of their yards have been by rushing plays
  16. Loffler, although it didn't pan out, was also responsible for punching the ball out of Lewis's arms but was ultimately recovered by Cunningham..
  17. The Bombers required only 56 seconds to go 69 yards to score. That's execution against a tough D. Then a masterfully executed kickoff, designed by O'Shea by the way, and the Bombers, inexplicably, had a chance. Then, they gutted it out in less than 40 seconds to complete the comeback. Those late points, plus the points we had already scored was the part of the game where we were better than the Alouettes. That's how I can believe we deserved to win. Tell me, did BC deserve to win last week?
  18. Medlock: Harris:
  19. Firstly, this is what Ackie said: “I thought it was a clean hit, but it’s not my decision to make,” Ackie lamented. ?‍?I'm very surprised that Herb Zurkowsky makes this observation on that play: Nichols was brilliant on the play, ducking his head into the hit as he was about to get sacked — and referee Al Bradbury, never one to historically do the Als any favours, bought the routine. ?‍?And here I thought it was bloody obvious...
  20. For now, It's all up in the air...
  21. You're wrong, plain and simple. O'Shea, in no way, has ANY resentment or bad attitude towards the FANS. As to the media, as far as I'm concerned, they get out of O'Shea what they put into O'Shea. He respects hard work and due diligence. If some in the media don't show any aspect of that, how can you expect O'Shea not to have an attitude towards them?
  22. Lost in it all.... the 2 points that Montreal was already accounting for...
  23. Yes Hebert has a dirty streak too. He "imposed" his will on a late hit to a Bomber that was missed last night.
  24. It's only smart because it worked. Otherwise you're correct. But that effort was there..
  25. These are the same unknowledgeable fans that Wiecek caters to...and understands. Unfortunately, they have phones, and somehow, they know how to use them.
