They were able to get the ball to Moore because Lulay is smart, and if the water's there, go to the well. He's also a scrambler. I presume the Bombers know this and will react accordingly. No doubt the Lions will be coming on to attack our patched D, but there is no evidence to show that they will succeed. Pocketize Lulay and the hits will come. And if the hits come, so will the mistakes. It's all about going for the ball when Lulay throws it up there and there is hardly a group out there that is better than the Bomber Squadron. Thank you Atomic. There have been cases, close cases, where the QB of record got credit for the victory, where probably he shouldn't have. I just wanted to check what would happen in this latest case. Of course, it's only right that Lulay gets credit for the V, but with the CFL, you never know. In the response that I received, it's clear that such stats are not closely monitored, only in extreme cases. This was definitely one of those cases. Who knew?

I'm so glad Hall has addressed this as far as the defence goes. Part of the defender's job is to not only track the player, but also, THE BALL. What is the use of being in good position only to have the defender stand there as the receiver goes up for the ball..uncontested? Many catches, on long throws, shouldn't even be caught, but rather knocked down or intercepted. How many times have you seen the ball just up there for grabs, but the only man making a play on the ball is the receiver. Drives me nuts. Learn to play the man, and look for the damned ball.
