Nah, that tweet was already in my ICYMI review. When I saw your post, I remembered seeing that exact thought...from Randy Turner. So, I thought, what a coincidence eh?

The rule and ruling are separate issues. Take the emotion out of the call. Its quite simple. There was a ruling on the field. There was insufficient evidence to overturn the ruling. The call on the field stands. If it was ruled a fumble..the same command decision would have been handed down. Insufficient evidence to overturn. S**t happens.

The question is, regarding Jones, is how long will he commit to the Riders? If he smells other opportunities, is he gone? But for now, he gets credit..for the wins. How he built this team, and its components, was handled pretty shabbily, if you ask me. AND, how will he handle Darian Durant and his new contract going forward? He should go all out in keeping Durant, but will he be influenced by Franklin's availability? This is a really big question for Jones the GM. And the contracts of his new signings in next year's roster? And how about the draft next year and the picks he's traded? Still, lots of questions for the stability of that team.

I'm curious as to which 3 plays you're talking about. I know there was the Kohlert close call, but remind me of the other two?

The 2-3 (or more) games we didn't win last year, because of kicking, we are now winning because of Medlock, and the difference is huge.

Boy, the Bombers sure don't know how to win easy lately.. Great effort...another 0 sack performance by the O-Line. But 12 more penalties..gotta stop. Special teams is rickety right now, 'cept for Fogg But what a nice performance, and play calling with the offence. All things considered, we poked, we prodded, got burnt (hamed,) answered back, and scored points when we had to. I saw some magnificent catches by that BC team, and they were well covered. (Mike) Reilly and Co. can pass the ball with the best of them. Their defensive line is so tough to block for four quarters. They make an average secondary better ... How did Toronto end up where it is? First, you need to settle on one quarterback. If it's (Drew) Willy then trade (Ricky) Ray, or the room will always be divided. Next, if you're going to pay a mostly Canadian offensive line that much, they have to produce better. Also, top paid guys on defence can't be part time play makers. So many teams play a variation of coach (Rich) Stubler's style of D that without big plays it becomes easier to attack than years ago ... The Bombers are a team that feeds off turnovers and big specials teams plays. They are playing extremely fast, but the offensive personnel isn't dominant yet. They were/are playing above their skill set. Coming back to the median now. They're definitely a playoff team in 2016, but it will be interesting to see if they can regain that momentum ... Edmonton has a shot to pull it off and get back to the Grey Cup ... The most outstanding special teams player right now? (Chris) Rainey is probably the most dangerous guy out there. For whatever reason (Brandon) Banks has slowed down in the punt return game. They've had challenges special teams-wise. But what about (Sean) Whyte? He's had an outstanding year. I'd have to put him right up there. There have been return touchdowns, but it hasn't been very explosive this year ... So now it's OK to contact an official, intended or not. Just go coach from the booth. That's (bleep) ... The Argos need to find out who wanted Drew Willy and authorized giving up two high draft picks for him. But with their Canadian content and quarterback they haven't played as well as people expected ... Darian Durant should and will stay in Regina. I think they have the deal done already. Everything I've heard is he wants to be there and they're going to do it. It's hard for them to move on without him. He's played well. If they go in with an unknown guy like (James) Franklin, it's a pretty big risk. It's not Darvin Adams who will look at this with the shakes, but rather the opposing team's secondaries, who, instead of going meh, will now go wah, or words to that effect. Darvin, and the rest of the receivers can look upon this as a re-awakening of an offence. Yes, it can be that good. All that it would take is a little imagination and excitement from LaPo. Now, is that asking too much?

So, he reached out to the Bombers last night? Would that have been around supper time? My, my, we just showed we're serious, and I bet the team is pumped.

Gurley would be an upgrade to our receiving corps and add another dimension to our offence. This can't even be argued. Do we really need him? - Well, do we really want to get better? This addition would make our team better. No question. Adams isn't here yet. So what? When he's back, then we'll have even more options. If I were Walters, I'd give up my next meal and go sign this Hurdy-Gurley guy right now. Let's get serious...and show it.

Harris is moving up in the rankings and will have his chance to overtake Nichols with good performances here on in.
