They are holding a special broadcast lottery to determine which of the networks get to show the lottery coverage. There is, however, no broadcast of the networks lottery on the lottery broadcast. I think that about covers it..

Nice videos. I like it. But what struck me the most, about watching those Bomber videos, was what a beautiful stadium we have, that they're practising in... -

NFL and CFL announce officiating development program
Mr Dee replied to Atomic's topic in Blue Bomber Discussion
I can't tell you the exact reasoning, but being so close to the USA, and bigger markets, there is more competition and better opportunities for budding athletes. There are more scholarships and of course travel issues are a consideration. Simon Fraser University applied to the NCAA to be part of their Division 2 football but were turned down initially. Finally, the GNAC admitted SFU as a full conference member in 2010. -

Here in Kelowna, high school football games are played on a 100 yard field, and use strictly American high school rules - which differ slightly from the Professionals. I checked with an official who refs these games, and asked him if they are more difficult to ref than the Canadian game, and he said: "more difficult, than Canadian? in many ways, it’s easier. less players, less motion, more run game, easier timing rules, fair catches. smaller field. kicking rules. the list goes on." ? So, by that extension, American refs may have more of an issue than Canadian refs, but, then again, their programs for reffing must be better than ours..with more and better training ?. And, football is football... -

It's quite amusing reading some of this stuff. Conservatives this, Liberals that, NDP can't do anything right, and quite clearly you can interchange any name in that order. Change is what's necessary from Province to Province. When a gov. is in power for too long, things are going to happen. It's inevitable. From my experience no government has proven to have all the answers, and sometimes no answers at all. Some gov. have succeeded more than others though luck and timing, and oh yeah, resources..until those resources are gone..then that gov. is gone. Lots of party name calling, some loose facts, and stretching of those facts, but, like I said it's amusing. Carry on...

I don't mind Andre Proulx. He's been an official for a long time, close to 20 years? The misadventures with his second language can bring a smile to one's face, but he is aware of it and takes the ribbing very well. (even from his fellow officials) But his heart is in the right place and he takes the job seriously and is quite good at it. Now, if I would try to say all of what I just posted in French, in front of 25,000 people and a TV audience....now there would be an misadventure. -
I wouldn't complain too much if I were a Blackhawk fan. They have done an outstanding job of slicing and dicing their lineup and filling with spare pieces and.....winning, all while hovering close to the cap. (And their goaltenders don't get called for penalties?)

"The Bombers also already have some promising candidates to play boundary halfback in Louisville’s Johnny Patrick – seriously, keep an eye on this guy in training camp – and Ohio’s Julian Posey, who looked more than serviceable in his week 20 start against Toronto." "Former Detroit Lion Jonte Green is a natural corner, but could be better suited to play safety in the CFL with his tackling skills and ability keep the action in front of him and react in zone." https://bomberbuzz.com/2016/04/18/additions-in-secondary-cement-leggett-as-bombers-best-option-at-sam-linebacker/?utm_source=twitterfeed&utm_medium=twitter -
But that means more work for me, sort of.....Paul F

No, Sask now has that honour. Disagree. I think you'll find our secondary will be very strong this year. Randle, Adams, Bruce Johnson, Johnny Patrick, Bucknor, Posey, Kearney and Moe Leggett. Stoudermire, Morgan, Jones, Waggoner, and Macho Harris. Hey, some Nationals on that list too... -

Oh, is it time for your biweekly drive by already? -
Well I don't know Jacquie..that's why I'm asking. I think the players can have access to the Cup for awhile, although I don't know about when they're traded. Or for how long they have access? But I don't think it's the same with a major figurehead and front of an organization who is now the face and front of another organization. You say of course he has the right..I say why? Can he take out the Grey Cup during the season too? Or when he's in Edmonton? I still think it's odd. Hey, but if you say it's so...I guess it's so.
-
Which brings about the question, for me: Does the fact that Jones left the organization that won the Grey Cup - Edmonton, strip him of the right to parade the Grey Cup as a member of a different org? In other words, is it Edmonton's Grey Cup? ...or does Jones have the right to display the Cup as he sees fit? Seems a bit off to me...

Best wishes iso..
