MTS or Shaw. My understanding is Shaw itself isn't covered, only Shaw GO (Shaw's mobile TV service) is covered. Doesn't everyone who has Shaw, have automatic enrollment in Shaw GO? If you have an account with Shaw, all you have to do is register that account with Shaw Go and you're as good as Gone.

Johnny Adams said he's going to Toronto not to win a starting job, but to win a football game. “Winning is number one,” he said. “This is a business trip. We're going down there for one goal, and that's to win.”

3 keys to the game tonight according to Bob Irving: 1) Stay healthy - no points in the standings for pre-season games. 2) Evaluate rookies - (pay attention new Calgary guy) great competition going on, O-Line - Defensive backs - receivers - linebackers. Last chance for some of these guys and for the Coaches to make some roster decisions. 3) Misguided plug for CJOB as Kim says this is to only place to hear about the game. As to the game being televised on "special" connections, that is a shame. I'm already with Shaw, so it was just a matter of joining Shaw Go, which I did. Just to be safe I joined Go Direct, Go Golf and Go ogle and the old Give and Go. I could Go On but I figured I have passed enough Go's to collect $200. I finally settled for this:

TICATS Vs Rodblacks live stream - NOW!

There is no way in hell, in any way, does Osbaldiston, a former Bomber, remind me of Lisa Best, a Winnipeg Bombshell. -
If you were Tburg...it was today. What a load of ____. Oh I don't know about that. Seems like you were cut down quite a bit today.
-
That's a complete bass-ackward way to view a perfectly fine way to evaluate your talent to determine who is going to be on a roster that can be built to win. I swear...

If you were Tburg...it was today.

Why do you keep bringing that up? Nobody, but nobody, is trying to turn Marve into strictly a pocket passer. But what you are missing is the suggestion that Marve must be able to show the ability to pass from the pocket. There's a big difference.

Pre scout Argos - Quarterback Blake Sims' tenure with the Toronto Argonauts has come to an end after the former Alabama pivot was released on Sunday. (he was signed May 28) - Despite being freshly activated off of the injured list, the Argos star quarterback R Ray is not close to returning. He’s coming along. He’s not close yet,” said Milanovich. “Today was a positive step where he threw the ball. He felt a lot stronger but we’re still a ways away.” - Trevor Harris will start and get a least a quarter of play. - Milanovich says their offence and STs will be "vanilla" but their defence will be less so. - No Durie, Owens, Foley and several others depending on injuries. They'll probably have a different kicker other than Swayze Waters for the game. - They've made their receivers have to learn a difficult "install" to see if thy can pick it up, then take it from there. - Coach Milanovich is not afraid to reveal some of the things players have to pay more attention to if they want to make the squad. I'm a little jealous of that. He doesn't sound excited about the state of where the back up QBs should be at this state in their development. Could lead to a rough start for the Argos. - The expressions Milanovich uses when describing his new players is either "up and down" or "struggles with some of their assignments". - 40% chance of rain. - Cleon Laing has reported to camp - It looks like Anthony Coombs has fully recovered from his shoulder injury and has impressed Milanovich. "He's doing a very nice job," Argos head coach Scott Milanovich said of Coombs. "We moved him to a different spot just to kind of keep him working with his flexibility in different spots we could put him in. "He's really had an excellent camp, one of the best camps of all the guys. We're just trying to find different ways to get him on the field." Coombs said he's much more comfortable at training camp now than he was last year as a rookie. Let's hope we can get a live stream of that game.

An interesting position to take considering who our defensive coordinator is. Maybe the politics discussed earlier regarding Brohm played out in Sask against Hurl. Maybe Hurl is a lot better now. Players do improve. Maybe we don't have any better options (I think you covered that one). We don't know the reasons but I don't think Hurl would be here at all if someone didn't evaluate him as capable. Somehow that remark struck me as being a bit too negative. Call me sensitive but let's be positive for a couple of weeks. We can trash the hell out of him during the rest of the year becasue it looks like he going to be there regardless of what you think.. I'm with you on this one. To me, it doesn't matter what Regina did with Hurl. That change on defence smacks of Chamblin's doing. And he was replaced with an arguably less effective player. Why should there be reverse prejudice? because a) he's Canadian? because we're paying him good money to potentially be a ratio changer? What if he really is going to be good? Hurlcane Sam good? Duke of Hurl good? Whurlwind good? Our DC knows what Hurl can bring and how he can fit in with our current lineup. Maybe, just maybe, he knows what he's doing.
-
Well then, you should have nothing to worry about.
-
That's ridiculous considering the way he played last year and so far in TC. If anything, Brohm should be the odd man out, or relegated to third or fourth stringer duty. He's completely immobile and lacks accuracy. There's nothing about him that's attractive except a strong arm. I obviously don't share the same confidence in how well Marve reads defences as you do, or how good he's looked in TC...in training camp. This is why he has to show progress in any chance he gets in pre-season games. Listen, I like the way Marve ad-libbed his way through his playing time last year, but I don't want my QBs to always be scrambling to make plays if he's missed his reads. Marve wants to leave next year, and if Portis and Yantz show well in their time, it wouldn't bother me to see Marve leave earlier.
-
I wouldn't be too surprised, that after the dust settles, and barring no QB injuries, that Robert Marve might be the odd man out. This pre-season will be very important for ole no-knees.
-
I'm counting on the DL and the secondary to provide the necessary backbone for the defence until our LBs become a unit. Then...look out.

Gleaned from the MOS Day 5 post practice interview: - Addison Richards can play Tues. if he can get a practice in before then. - Jordan Yantz started strong, tapered and now picked up again. Better than last year. - the fact that they are still bringing in guys means they're the ones they wanted to look at, tagged by the scouting staff, and have become available only now. They are not just "camp legs" , "they have been stalked by our scouting staff", "last year was different trying to flip the negotiation list and try to develop a network", if they bring a guy in, it's because there's something about him they really like". - like the intensity level of Johnny Adams,"he steals reps" meaning he takes reps whenever he can. If a player isn't paying attention, Adams will step in.They've actually had to tell him to give others a chance. That's funny. - Lawless asks MOS who's on top of the depth chart at MlB right now? Hesitant at first, O'Shea answers "I'm very impressed wth Sam Hurl right now...has surpassed his expectations..the intangibles are what stands out...runs around the whole field...Greg Knox talks about instinctive pursuit..."he's making it work"...he's as athletic as the Imp. LBs...he was asked if Hurl would play on the weak side and OShea answered that the way they'll play their defence will have a lot of different guys play at different spots.

Flexibility. That what I see players like Hurl, Waggoner, Newman, Morgan, Briggs, Jones, Westerman, Richards, Brown and others. This spells roster flexibility. Well, not literally, but rosterly. Doesn't matter if they are stars on their own, but if they part of rotation pattern that breeds success..well then who cares how it's done. Look to last year at the restrictions of our flexibility and you will appreciate the roster planning as it stands.

What, and here I thought you've been a Bomber fan?
-
Wiecek (Free Press) on Westerman: Bombers fans should be so heartened to hear what veteran defensive tackle Bryant Turner had to say on Wednesday about the team's newest -- and most prominent -- former NFLer, defensive end Jamaal Westerman. "He's been very humble. If I didn't read the paper and know that he was in the NFL for six years, I'd have never known it. He never mentions it and he's really been a true student his whole time here," Turner said of Westerman. "He's trying to learn the game, he asks a lot of questions and he just studies and learns." **** Jamaal Westerman said he can't wait to get started on his Canadian career. "I talk to my brother a lot now. He's kind of giving me tips," said Westerman. "Even though I'm the older brother, he seems to be giving me a lot more tips now than I gave to him." **** "It's a whole different game here in Canada," said Anderson, "and you see a lot of guys from the NFL come here with pedigrees like that. I'm not going to drop names, but we've had guys like that come here before and they just don't cut it because the game is that different." The Bombers defence gave up the most yards rushing in the CFL in 2014, while recording just the second-fewest QB sacks and the quick-footed Westerman -- he's remarkably fleet for a man who is 6-3, 260 -- could go a long way to addressing both those weaknesses for the Bombers in 2015. "He's got a terrific power angle and in those one-on-one pass rushes, boy, he certainly gets underneath guys. And same thing at point of attack in the run game, he can hold an edge down very, very well," said head coach Mike O'Shea. "He flies around. He's easy to work with. He's smart."

skeleton or skele is QBs, WRs, RBs vs DBs and LBs. used to practice passing plays with no pass rush. called skeleton because it doesnt have any meat aka the linemenAll bones...no meat.
-
This is the way I remember it. The Bombers played well enough to win at least two of those games games but for ill-advised turnovers. The run game would have meant nothing without those turnovers. My biggest regret was that those games were against Sask. and fed the frenzy that is Rider BS. Their payback was the loss of Durant, which effectively nullified any playoff hopes. Even now his injury is ????
-
That can't be right. Rider fans were saying since last year that he was going to be playing in Green this year.
-
I'm still in the wait-and-see mode over that trade.Hall is back in Sask., but is he back? Neufeld....is he going to make it? Still questions in my mind. The draft picks involved turned out to be Ainsworth for S. and Normand for W, although those could have changed at any point. You have to ask yourself...if you could get a potential starting NI O-line guy for an Amer. wouldn't you look carefully at pulling off that trade. I know I would. There is still potential return on Neufeld, and to me, that's not a terrible trade.
