  1. Finally. Some TC news for us weak-minded. Interesting information on the O-Line, receivers and QBs. It's good to hear the Coaching was gracious and welcoming. It wouldn't ave taken much for this board to get excited, but your report certainly has deserved the Belly-Rubbing Award of the day. Thanks Budda Bubba.
  2. Here's something along the lines we want for a TC report. From Drew Edwards (of course) • the team is starting to make the transition towards preparing for Monday’s exhibition game against Ottawa. The personnel groupings on offence and defence are more fluid with players being shuttled in and out of the line up during the team sessions. The first pre-season game is primarily about evaluation so I would expect a number of the big names to see limited action or to sit altogether. • defensive tackle Brian Bulcke went down during one-on-one sessions and spent the last part of the session sitting on the trainer’s table with a bag of ice on his knee. If he’s down for any period of time, the Ticats are suddenly and improbably thin at Canadian defensive tackle behind Ted Laurent. That’s because Linden Gaydosh, Mike Atkinson, Hasan Hazime and Evan Gill are all hurt as well. That said, Atkinson should be back soon. • Jeff Mathews was the No. 2 quarterback today, after Jacory Harris took the back up reps yesterday. That will be a position to watch on Monday. • good battle developing at the offensive tackle spot between Brian Simmons, Jake Olson and Joel Figueroa with Jeremy Lewis in the mix as well. • players not practicing today: RB Mossis Madu and DT Atkinson. DE Arnaud Gascon-Nadon did drills but little to no team work. The rest (Hazime, Anthony Woodson, Antonio Coleman) are still in the rehab phase. No sign of S Neil King. • Former Ticats and Argos linebacker (and current University of Toronto defensive coordinator) Kevin Eiben was at camp today. • there are CFL officials again today and receiver Bakari Grant was flagged for offensive pass interference during a one-on-one drill. “They won’t call that in a game,” he protested. Yes, they will. That said, I think there were less flags today as players are making the adjustment to the new rules.
  3. I was about 5-6 minutes away from maneuvering a Satellite into position over the Bomber practice for a good view of what's going on, and then, of course, relaying back to the good people at MBB the information I had gleaned, when I got a very rude phone call from the U.S. Dept of something or other, telling me how, if I continued to interfere with their 'Honey Probe', I could kiss my football-watching days goodbye. And oh, if you ever get in the same situation, don't mention the fact you want to watch some Bombers. They really didn't like that statement.
  4. ...said MBB's first training camp cut. Yep, got cut in the first...weak.
  5. ike Beamish ‏@sixbeamers #BCLions release rookie QBs Grant Hedrick (Boise State), Aaron Wilmer (Delaware Valley) and linebacker Terrance Bullitt (Texas Tech). It’s Travis Partridge, Greg McGhee and Jon Jennings basically behind Travis Lulay and John Beck. UBC transfer Michael O’Connor will be on coffee duty, if the Lions use him as they did Jordan Yantz two years ago. Scott Mitchell ‏@SUNMitchell Stamps have placed DL Corey Mace and Micah Johnson on the suspended listed, added WR Maudrecus Humphrey and LS Kyle Tyo. Toronto Argonauts ‏@TorontoArgos #Argos GM Jim Barker on Sean McEwan: "He's going back to UofC. You'd think it was 2013 again, before he wrecked his shoulder. Mike BeamishMay 31 Mike Beamish ‏@sixbeamers #BCLions backup QB John Beck misses first day of training camp (undisclosed illness). No timetable for his return, says HC Jeff Tedford. Scott Mitchell - Stamps Every time you turn around, WR Dan Buckner is making another play … Same thing with WR Kamar Jorden … Same with WR Greg Wilson … The Stamps have too many receivers and not enough spots … QB Mike Reilly is two days into his return from a broken foot and Jones says he doesn’t look like he was ever hurt. - Edmonton Sun There are #CFL officials at #Ticats training camp this morning. Will help with new rules interpretation. #CFLTC Rob Tychkowski ‏@Sun_Tychkowski It's so cold at Eskimos training camp this morning that the balls are deflating on their own.
  6. He shall henceforth be referred to as Minusson Richards.
  7. And we're not even playing BC this weekend...
  8. Yes, this is more pre-meditated and Alabamish.
  9. You're missing what is quite obvious to some of us. Im not trying to be rude here, but could you fill me in? Just seems like some people have a different opinion about players in TC so far. I don't see the problem, maybe I missed something No, I don't mind. Different opinions about TC is not what it's about for me. That always happens and if this was golf, it'd be 'par for the course'. It's the off the board comments about Buck Pierce as a coach and the subsequent rant about how the players ignore him. It's about trying to put out there that there is a wedge at TC between the players. It's about calling out the players for their work efforts. How about his very unusual questioning and highlighting our new NI receiver? It's about dissing a prominent poster in the chat room, and another, in a thread today. I could go on, but I'd rather not.

  11. Thing is CJOB is a dying station. TSN 1290 is on the up's. CJOB is just a tired station. If you can't see that, you're just not dialled in…week by week. (or something like that)
  12. Probably the 'line' of TC reports - it's hilarious, a little over-stated, but memorable.
  13. I already have my heroine to help me get by.
  14. It never ends does it? I mean the waiting. First, it was the end of season and we were waiting for who the Bombers were going to release. Then, we were waiting to see whom Walters could extend under the 2014 Salary Cap. Year end brought us closer to Free Agency expectations as to who we were going to keep and who we were going to go after. Next...Free Agency. That was a blast. Free agent camps, mini-camps..Rookie mini-camps. Wait. All the hoopla leading up to the draft, and the wait. Then, the actual picks and the discussion about them. Rookie Camp and all the new guys. Finally a training Camp arrives and Day 1 is over. And what can't I wait for now? Frickin' Day 2 It's a wait I have to bear...but, at least I'm not alone.
  15. I don't do penis jokes, they're usually so….unfulfilling.But I will relate one:“If I had no penis, how would I pee? How would I make love? How would I think?” ― Jarod Kintz Did you hear about the birth of the miracle baby boy? He was born with a penis and a brain.I have a feeling I should be angry, or something, about your post, but I haven't got it figured out yet, so I'll have to get back to you on that. In the meantime, I'll check the COC to see if it covers your gender-slandering post. ❓⚠

  17. There is a certain understanding here, that we Bomber fans are starting to feel comfortable with…after the many expectations and disappointments that we've been through, that we're on the right path. Yes, it feels nice.
  18. As I understand it..there is a food budget for training camp.
  19. Will Rider fans now snap over this
  20. Re Richards vs Waud...and the signing of a 30 year old NI Wasn't that precisely the reason the Bombers were able to gain a little more ratio flexibility...by signing Westerman, and being able to go elsewhere with their pick? We could debate all day who the Blue should have taken, and Waud may ehave been a great choice, but still, we definitely needed a strong NI receiver and after seeing Demski and Hardy being grabbed, it was a pressing point that had to be addressed. Could they have waited until 15th? Possibly. But the kerfuffle would never have ended had another team Westerman'd us and grabbed Richards and Durant. And we don't even know how they felt about Durant. Every team signs players and uses their signings partially with the goal to fill in their roster at the draft. I believe the Bombers, with their careful evaluation of who they had, and who they wanted, did a credible job at the draft. They can't get everybody and they can't fill every fan's board at the same time.
  21. Well, if at one point, the Crapingas met the Thorpes, voila... Craphonzo Crapinga.
  22. Randumb thoughts on random reports: Gbill's praising of Garrett Waggoner's abilities is not because they share the same name - Garrett. (maybe) It looks like it will be Jordan Reeves' seedling who will be ready to play for the Bombers. Hair does matter to sports fans. Jade Etienne is still fondly looked upon. Addison Richards is poised to become an NI dreamboat who can catch. Mims is as big a lineman as his name is short to remember. And, he should have been around to block for Robert Mimbs. The Bombers want Everett and Daniels on this team. Buck Pierce doesn't stutter when he is yelling. Why would we possibly worry where Bob Wylie is at this point? A good secondary from last year is going to be better? A Supplentary Draft pick may just work out nicely for the Bombers this year. And a big thank you for any, and all reports. This will be remembered in your reviews later this year.
  23. Aren't you allowed inside the city limits?
  24. Well, if you locked me in a room with that "#*
