It's actually quite typical of Grigsby…he got 'bumped' and now he's down and out.

I got nothing out of it.

First of all, you bring back all the Non-Imports. You replace only the bottom tier players as long as the players you bring in are at least as valuable…preferably better. As for the imports…all the QBs. And that is why we should take a long look at them in the next 3 games. The whole O-Line has to be re-evaluated, rinsed, fed and re-hogged. We simply have to be better in that regard. It's been way too long. At least 2 or 3 must be replaced, preferably more. Bye bye Bryant, Kuale, Cotton, Woods. On the exit mat….Peach, Vega, Unumba, Grigsby. If we can value in a trade…Washington.

Change the way we "punish" repeat penalty-takers. Change shaming into benching. We have our share of AWBs (athletes without brains) on our team, and we're not good enough to withstand their ineptness in that regard.

This is the best opportunity we're ever going to get to see what we have behind Drew Willy. By all means sit Willy next game…at least. Lets start giving Marve some reps at practice to see him by the last game. In the meantime, it's your show Mr Brohm.

The O-Line, for me, has been about as bad a shock as you can possibly have up to this point in the season. To have so many wooden studs who are incapable to, at least run block, is a mystery. Can we not be decent in one aspect of blocking that doesn't entail using 8 men on the line? The recruiting in this area has to be multi times better than what we've seen, or we'll continually see the same results. The number of sacks? Drew Willy has to accept some of the blame here, but I agree with 17…he's shell shocked out there. Even Brohm handled the rush and got rid of the ball…got rid of the ball. There's a concept. Bob Wylie? I expected better results, not miracles, but better results.

The Etch experiment for me is over. It is an interesting concept that requires on field adjustments and game planning to match the opponent. In yesterday's game, being one step behind didn't only apply to the pass defenders. The chess board moves in yesterdays game made it look like they had the Queen, matching up against our rooks and it was over in less than 30 moves.

People complain about O'Shea's post game interviews…i wouldn't want to be within arm's length of Austin when a delicate question has to be asked. By the way, has anybody seen Sinkfield since yesterday? Interesting to hear Austin say what O'Shea has been saying, that not all penalties are penalties, and that the coaches have to do a better job of coaching the players. All coach's say the same things, seems to be the party line. Including reference to having to watch the game film to understand what happened and than never hearing back regarding their conclusions. If you watch Chamblin's interviews it's amazing how similar his answers are to O'Shea's. It's not what he said, it's how and when he said it. You, yourself said he was ready to spit venom, and yet you're saying, in his state of mind, he just fell back on standard lines? I think Austin feels the same as O'Shea in that he feels the Refs have to be better at what they're calling and when to call/or not call certain penalties.

People don't have to do that…there are plenty of other people who do that already.

Kelly has flaws. We all know that, but we certainly have to give him credit where credit is due. He has made a number of tough catches, over and under, a number of defenders over the course of the year. If he could/would do that consistently, we wouldn't have to worry about who to take out of the lineup. To deny him his dues is just bias, IMO, and unwarranted.
