Definitely looking forward to Tuesday's game because I fully expect the Bombers want to play another game..as soon as they can can. All things being equal last night, and don't give up 20 points on turnovers, we absolutely own that game…and they know it. We can talk about our poor line play and it continues.. We can talk about our poor RB performance and it continues….they are related. We can mention that Willy finally had a rookie-type game….who knew? But, to a man, I bet all of them want to get back out there and kick some butt. Tuesday, the following game against Montreal, and then finally the return match against Sask. All, of course, one game at a time.

As far as iI understood the rule, the foot cannot be over the line, but the ball can. I saw nothing on that play and believed the call would be overturned. The only explanation was they had a better view and part of his foot was over or, or what….I got nothing. R Ray recently had the same play reviewed…and won the review.

Messam in no way, shape or form, won the game for Sask., so why are we talking about him? Turnovers were really the only reason we gave that game away. Sask. could not get their offence to score more than FG…one FG! Their defence played real well and we didn't help our own cause, it's that simple.

I think the word that I would use in my feelings about Kuale is toleration. I tolerate him, for now, because he is a Bomber.

After reading a write-up about Mr. Jones in the Edmonton Journal today on his thoughts of pre-game coach banter and post game head coach handshakes, I think a few more might agree with you. He has no use for them, think they are empty gestures and could care less what other people think about him. Charming. Out of the five games the Eskimos have played this year, he's shaken hands with one coach after the game. Reason. Micheal O'Shea ran over to him directly to congratulate him and there was nothing he could do. Jones believes coaches do this becuase they think they have to. Maybe some. But I think others, like O'Shea, do it out of respect and being a leader, whether they win or lose. So Jones thinks the time honoured tradition of hand shakes displays empty gestures and not displays of sportsmanship? He prefers waving across the field to opposing Coaches. If that's the way he looks at it, I guess he is what he projects - the epitome of empty gestures. But he really shouldn't be surprised if the waves he gets back, are mysteriously missing a few fingers.

When I see teams making moves that are being suggested for the Jets, I see teams that are nearer the position where they can make moves like that. I don't see the Jets being ready to challenge in that they don't have the necessary 'foundation' to complete that phase. The previous management used putty for the foundation and Chevy has strengthen that first. It's hard. it's tedious, but it has to be done. It's like building the Bombers O-Line…it will take time.

Geez, 2 POTW awards. Pretty soon they're going to start comparing him to another dual winner QB that I seem to remember…..

Too many consultants. They need more authorities, specialists, gurus, sages and savants. If they have an opening for pundits, I'm applying.

Hamilton can get back to winning ways, but it will be because of their talent…not because of their love for Austin. His act is getting old. To preach 'to work for your teammate' and then the players see him rip that same teammate...can't be good for team unity. Yes, they've lost games that they could have won. But that's the point. They had their chances, and didn't do it. Despite Austin, despite lots of talent, it will come down to QBing as it always does in the CFL. Can LeFevour carry this team against good opponents? Masoli? I don't know if I give them even a 50-50 chance of that.

I remember last year when we vaulted out to a 1-5 record at the beginning of the year. There was a point where we 'could' have been 3-3 as well. We weren't. We didn't play well enough to win those games. This year, you say we could be 3-3. We aren't. We played well enough to win those games.

After 1/3 of the season... Nice to see: The play of Big League Teague, Bucknor, Thomas, Kelly, Peach, Johnson, Leggett and Willy. (and the regulars of course) The versatility our defence that has been able to keep us in games. Julian Feoli-Gudino is for real and a steal on how we got him. Our no quit attitude, and the belief in each other. The only thing that has grown more than some of my posts is our OC's playbook. Mike O'Shea's demeanour on the sidelines. The 'winnability' of our rookie QB. Surprised - our lack of depth with our injuries hasn't killed us. - our RB is still Grigsby - well…that we're in 1st Not surprising - Watson looking so good early …then out of the lineup. - Reaction to our reaction on some media tabloid writing. - some posters continually focusing on negative points…on a 5-1 season. - Grigsby in the lineup because...he keeps producing. - Rider fans are still arrogant. - Rod Black is hard(er) to take.

All these contracts are just absurd.

There is no fairness involved here. The hiring and showcasing of Mathews is just not a good thing…for anyone. If he is that heavily medicated they should just let him be. How much oomph is he going to be able to provide when most of these guys have never heard of him other than in passing? I prefer to remember his as dynamic, not what we saw yesterday.

There's entertainment…and then there's Sask.-fans-reactions-after-a-ROUGHRIDER-loss. That's real entertainment.
