A la Vegas What happens in the locker room…stays in the locker room. Rubbish.

What has that got to do with him? If his name was Edward Byner do you think somebody on here might ask if he was the son of Ernest Byner who used to play for the Browns. Is the fact the guys Dad played in the NFL now unspeakable because of the actions of his Father post retirement? There's absolutely no need to phrase any question in that manner is there?

I heard there are snakes there.... Hey, don't under appreciate snakes….a mating session between snakes typically lasts between 6 and 12 hours….not the typical 6 to 12 minutes of…..

Yeah, there's enough ammo there to last awhile.

I can't seem to get a hold of Walters . His line is busy.

We should definitely pluck Peach, and not just for the matching set. It would be a gentle reminder that we are back in business and it's payback for sniping Stubler.

Aaron Kelly.

Man, I can't see anyone complaining about what we have done concerning our current staff. From the lowest no. of staff in the CFL and very questionable, to a staff that they feel fills the needs that we have identified. Learning on the job? To an extent, but that's not all bad. Definitely more eyes, more opinions and ideas to get the message across, and everybody picking up even more experience. We'll see how it works out, but the thinking is reasonable.

Browning is "Mr. Nothing" from "Nothingville" and his assignment to the P.R. means "nothing". Odds are 1-100 anything comes of this. C'mon you can do better than that. How about "the Gunner". Or "Poetry in motion"? The Rifleman?

Although I'm more reticent because of recent roster injuries, I'm still going to say that there is the very real possibility that we can win 3 of the first 4 games to give us a decent start to the year. -
What are we saying here? That the National Scouting is outdoing the International Scouts when it comes to receivers?
-
I agree with this, I wasn't thrilled with the kuale signing either. But i guess it's not easy finding MLB's out there. Hopefully one or 2 is brought on to the PR because i don't see Kuale being the long term solution, short term? debatable. Wonder what it would take to get bighill or elimimian out of BC. probably more then we are willing to give up but i'd love to see Bighill here especially. Ian Wild looks very capable. The solution might very well be in-house. I'm really name about him too. He shows up all the time in good plays and moves around well.

Based on what I saw in training camp I could see Kelly being a big red zone target this year. Could catch a lot of TDs. I'm really not opposed to that. Also, I think we can expect Woods to be featured in some exciting packages this season.

Intriguing when asked about Kelly, O'Shea said Bellefeuille "has plans for him"

The man knows how to play in that style and it suits him. Can he cut back a bit? Maybe, we'll have to wait and see. It was the worst idea going in regards to Buck. When they tried to change his style, he just couldn't quarterback any longer. He has to use his legs to boogie and escape his fate. Otherwise…a sitting buck.

You mean like asking that hot girl out because you have tons of interest, but really you know you are the snowball of that famous idiom. Why wouldn't you ask the hot girl out? Hot girls are just normal girls really, just a lot prettier then some. How do you know what the hot girl would say if you don't even talk to her once? Sure she might say NO but she might be intrigued and give you a chance. You don't know if you don't ask her. If you go in thinking I got no chance here but it's worth a try, man you lost already. ………….Result

I understand why our fans want these guys, I really do, but to continually drag these names into the conversation, when there is very, very little chance of an interest in coming to Winnipeg, is useless. But of course the same names keep being brought up, whether they make sense or not. It's not even about signing them (i think we all understand these guys wouldn't come here) but it's about having interest in them, I mean, why not make an offer even? I get it, they won't come but to not even make an offer? to not show any interest at all? why not? You mean like asking that hot girl out because you have tons of interest, but really you know you are the snowball of that famous idiom.

NameYear Team No. Yards Avg Long TD KELLY, A 2011 HAM 27 383 14.2 34 2 KELLY, A 2012 HAM 11 107 9.7 30 1 KELLY, A 2013 WPG 22 321 14.6 45 0 Career Total 60 811 13.5 45 3 those numbers don't seem to indicate to me that he makes a lot of catches or scores a lot of TDs.. Really is a receiver who has a career best year of under 400 yards and 2 TDs the best we can do? Ah, those numbers neither impress me, nor scare me. They were with a different team at another time. It's what he does for us that I care about. It's about expectations I guess. If our receivers can function as a unit and can work with our QB, then I expect success. In that success, I don't care who finishes 1st, 2nd etc. as long as it means team success. I know you want that too. Kelly has had training camp success and if he wins a spot, so be it. What I've seen of Walters and O'Shea thus far is that they will not settle for mediocrity, so if we find someone better, I'm all for it. Maybe it's Kemp, maybe it's Reed, but I'm willing to wait. In the meantime it's Kelly ho!

That's a very good point and worthy of mention. Are they the right fit for the personnel they have? Are they ready? Is Mike Benevides Head Coach material and can he work with these guys? Hmmm…. -
Moore, Denmark, Kohlert and Watson. Nice mix. I'm more than willing to go with Kelly until such time…. Makes catches, scores TDs, yeah, I can see the angst.

I think the Bombers have pretty well charted their RB course so far and it fits with the offence they're trying to run. This new guy, Bolton, if Penton can be believed, has "dazzling" speed and apparently good hands, and fits the type MB is looking for I would guess. As to Messam, it's definitely the wrong time to think about signing him as we're in the midst of setting up our roster through these final practices. Maybe later…but probably not. Either way, the results I've seen from the RBs is encouraging and that includes the blocking for them. Good balance so far.
