  1. Many Happy Returns…..one of which was Demond Washington's punt return TD this past year and was highlighted again on TSN's Top 100 plays of the year!
  2. Yeah, that was weirdly odd. Poor goalie…no idea. And here's a guy who can throw a 40 yard pass…..then run under, and catch it. https://plus.google.com/_/notifications/emlink?emr=11003989157686992173&emid=CNievNzIqrsCFUjR3godgH8AAA&path=%2F106515732516866224755%2Fposts%2FfHZwMkSH6fZ&dt=1386847281526&ub=37
  3. Name recognition does wonders for people ... I'd rather have a guy like Figeuroa .. he's an absolute beast, a guy with a mean streak .. and had a great first season with the TiCats .. easily better than anything January has done the past few years .. Yeah well, you can't change the name of the game half way through by saying who we would rather have. This was rate our O-Linemen and like I said GJ isn't a dominant player but he is steady and reliable. It's about time we do start gathering some 'meaner' O guys with an eye to 5 A-type players, but you know you can't replace 5 guys overnight Maybe this regime will do more than draft a couple of guys and 'hope' they do well. I have a feeling all areas, to gather better players, will be explored.
  4. That would be Mister two time all-star journeyman.
  5. Nowadays. you really can't go wrong with home theatre systems. I've had both Pioneer and Sony and am very satisfied with each one. I would just stick to name brands if I were you. Or you could check sites like CNet or Consumer Reports etc. for guidance. Enjoy.
  6. I'm not too worried about Marshall being "in the running." That's sorta like being "on the cusp." I'd be more concerned if he said he's the man to beat. And yes, v, I'd like a more aggressive D.
  7. I must admit, the greater the time goes without signing a QB, the more I think that Willy would be the better choice. Fortunately, I don't have to make that decision. And what a huge decision for our team to make. I must think this is one of those decisions that the entire staff will be involved with. GM Walters, HC O'Shea and OC Marcel B While the plan to acquire a QB must have been in the works for awhile, each time a new component was added, (HC, OC) I'm sure the names involved must have been re-worked. With this off season already being one of the most active to date, I can't wait to see who finally lines up under centre. It doesn't really matter who it is, just the hope that it won't be a dead end yet again.
  8. The only thing that would have been better about Jason's signing is that if it would have happened 10 days ago on…Friday the 13th.
  9. I think January is above average. He's not dominant, but he's well respected in this league and...he's ours. Truly a competitor and a stand up guy. And if you compare him to the rest of our line alone, then he's way above average.
  10. I'm excited to see a player who's excited to be here, even if there's that girlfriend thing. His comments and actions (and tweets) all along showed his dedication to the Bombers and we're that much better to have him back. Viva to having Vega.
  11. Yeah sure, no pressure in BC to produce. I don't know if we can presume to know whose choice it was, I mean on appearances alone, Khari wasn't their 1st choice, and aside from the early association lock here, it seems that Khari didn't interview well enough to unseat MB. Khari was our fan choice, the sexy choice as it were, but unfortunately (or not) he wears another colour again. Good luck to him.
  12. The plot thickens…but not the file of DC candidates . According to a report at EP - "According to media reports, Bombers say no to Kavis Reed."
  13. That's funny, I got an e-mail from the Bombers saying that they sent an e-mail to somebody who will be making an announcement about the Bombers making a player announcement before 8am Monday morning. At least now I know who that is.
  14. May all of you find peace and enjoyment, with family and friends, in the upcoming season. And may all the Bomber fans have a …in the true spirit of its meaning.
  15. …..Somebody talking about me?
  16. I don't know whether the O-Line was a product or a problem because of him, or strictly a matter of talent all the way through, but the growth of the players was stagnant, and it seemed we were always "developing'. Time for a change, so I'm not sorry to see Pat DelMonago,
  17. This is where Marshall's name has come up or as like to call it - a*rash of tweets: Arash Madani ‏@ArashMadani3h Another name in the #Bombers defensive coordinator mix you haven't heard about yet: Greg Marshall, who was Edmonton's DC last season. #CFL And other news: Arash Madani ‏@ArashMadani3h Prevailing thought around #CFL circles is that #Riders QB coach Khari Jones will get the #BCLions offensive coordinator job. #CFL Arash Madani ‏@ArashMadani3h Expect Jeff Reinebold to remain the #Ticats special teams coordinator. Doesn't sound like much movement with Hamilton's staff. Arash Madani ‏@ArashMadani3h As reported here earlier, count on Craig Dickenson (special teams) and Steve McAdoo (offensive coordinator) joining #Eskimos staff. Arash Madani ‏@ArashMadani3h Not all #CFL assistant coach announcements are imminent. Guys hired won't be announced until their present contracts expire to collect cash. RT @CFLNumber1Fan: There are ONLY 192 days until the 2014 @CFL Regulation Season begins! #CFL #2014
  18. gary lawless ‏@garylawless 19 Dec told this off-season every trade offer #bombers received last season the first name other teams brought up was Turner. good deal for Walters Clearly, other teams were trying to do the Bombers no good...
  19. I don't get it??? Then you could play defence for Etcheverry. I don't remember much about him, other than he gets fired a lot. But, to his credit, he did coach for the South Surrey Big Kahuna Rams. Who else can say that? And he is the creator of the infamous etch-a-sketch defence which would work fine…until somebody shook the damn board.
  20. Who cares about the playbook? What he calls and when he calls it is what matters. Wait a minute, isn't that where he calls the plays from?
  21. Yes, neg. list. For further information, check with this very reliable source: http://www.morningbigblue.com/community/topic/1837-bombers-add-kp-lirim-hajrullahu-to-neg-list/?hl=%2Blirim+%2Bhajrullahu
  22. I'm pretty sure it was Stubler's choice, but we still don't have to like it. I'm comparing this whole process to that of a football game, where we've had reasonable success moving the ball upfield so far, what with all the recent hirings, and now we've been stopped on second down and we have to punt or kick the field goal. But I guess that's why we signed some kickers.
  23. Step away from the edge..
  24. And people though Bellefeuille's name was hard to pronounce and write!
  25. Yeah, don't I wish I could have interviewed as well in my prior efforts. It's not what we envisioned of our new OC. We wanted dynamic, bold and exciting to the extent of defences fearing when we huddle up, knowing they're only guessing as to what we'll do next. We've been guaranteed a Khari by some, but for reasons we can only surmise, Khari has not reached that point in his career, it appears. Were there other names? Don't know. That's OK. Still like the whole package of operatives and how they are working together. Now onto the DC.
