  1. Boltus is in close competition with DeMarco of BC for the P.U.TRID trophy award, emblematic of the inability to get short yardage especially while in a standing position. The irony of presenting this trophy to the winner is that they hold it a just yard away from the recipient...and he is unable to reach it.
  2. Nice, a fan happy a player gets hurt. Classless. I have to agree with you on this. Not a great comment.
  3. Want to see lots of this....................Touchdown Bombers!
  4. Mr. Burke says "We had another good week of practice." Mr. Burke says "We were really focused. Guys really want to play." That's Burke's radar. We could be in trouble.
  5. Congrats. You have just proven that Jade has slightly more yards per catch than the other players. Fantastic, isn't it? A new word, a new proof, a new hope for a quality receiver going forward. And we owe it all to you.
  6. TDs are different, they are more specialized, specific targets, plays, preferred celebrations, that sort of thing. Besides when you apply the same formula, you get fractions. Ex Jade would have 8.5 TDs, Iannuzzi 10.25 TDs Heck, using that formula, I think I get a TD.
  7. We can only hope they take Steve Morely off of our hands. Maybe we can swing a trade sending Morely/Max Hall/Poblah/Jovon/Cauchy and Sandra for a 6th round draft pick. There is no way, that's a ridiculous thing for you to say.....there's no way they could fit that on the back of a uniform.
  8. So, to use Rids' stats and TBurg's word - extrapolation, Jade is actually the leading receiver....interesting. Ha! Nate Coehoorn - 85 catches for 1,152 yards Marco Iannuzzi - 85 catches for 929 yards Kito Poblah - 85 catches for 856 yards Jade Etienne - 85 catches for 1,173 yards Anthony Parker - 85 catches for 1,052 yards.
  9. A couple of comments from the news in case you missed them: From Burke to Neufeld: "The thing I told him is, ‘You’re going to be one of the cornerstones of our turnaround. You’re one of the building blocks for our future.’ So for us it’s really going to be a great deal,” Burke said. From Edwards: "It’s not my call, but I really think we need more veterans in this locker-room to show the younger guys the ropes and how to handle certain situations. To be honest, I really think we have a lot of talent in this locker room. But it’s been the mental part of the game that’s been the problem, just because these young players haven’t seen a lot of the situations that arise. "A lot of the guys were learning on the fly this season -- offence, defence and special teams. And I think that’s been our Achilles heel all year." The Eskimos beat us again....they're officially first out of the playoffs. Watched for Hall in the Sask. game today. Still watching for him. No, I kid. He did alright. But that was some game in that wind. Sask deserved to lose that game for going for a first down deep in Edm. territory instead of building their lead to 8 by kicking a FG. Of course, they didn't make it. And Edmonton deserved to lose that game for not getting a TD from the one. Surely Reilly realizes his mistake of signing with the Eskimos, when he could easily be losing all those games with us. JT Gilmore playing on Mon. along with newcomer JD Griggs.
  10. I'll send out the recall notice for you.
  11. Ask GMC, they're very successful.
  12. Don't blame us, it was up to Pat DelMonaco to block these transgressions, but somehow, he missed.
  13. Kelly handled many roster moves, in essence, the GM. He added, deleted players using hand held placards.
  14. Jade has shown that certain 'je ne sais quoi' despite his youth and his being on this team and this crappy situation.(along with all the negativity he's seen) He can get open, he can make very nice catches and get yards after the catch. The guy has potential. He's been developing here and now he's being ruined here, in this program. The thing he can't do is develop an offence to throw him the damn ball. A functioning offence with a rotating Watson, Kohlert and Etienne would do us very well.
  15. Two different arguments. And is he wrong about Elliott? He may be a fail, but he was way more exciting than who we've had lately and has had way more offence. If he was here this year, I see us having a couple more wins. It'd be worth it to see Burke's expressions alone.
  16. Exactly my feelings on every count. Couldn't have said it any better. Of course you would agree. Wouldn't expect anything different from the two of you. You're two are brothers from different mothers. It's tired and archaic thinking. The kid is going to be good. I hope it's with us.
  17. Thanks for the report, it's all appreciated, but take #3 out, St. Boniface might be reading.
  18. Why? What's the hockey equivalent of taking a knee? Continually icing it or putting in 2 goalies?
  19. Calgary looked like they were 'fading' fast before Cornish ripped that run. TD Calgary. Game on. ~ I'm half sure that last play, resulting in Calgary's score, was sent in by...Pierce.
  20. Holy flap! Tate and Cornish are not face book friends anymore. ~ No offence, but DeMarco is looking very Bomberish in the 1st quarter.
  21. "Calgary has the best offensive and defensive lines statistically. They have three quarterbacks each with a passer rating in excess of 104.1 without a hint of real controversy normally associated with the position, and haven’t lost two straight in two seasons." "Meanwhile, the Lions running game is not there in the eyes of Buono. As such, the Stampeders are bracing for a retooled offensive package that was the subject of significant focus by the Lions at practice this week." DeMarco gets the start for BC and they better hope he can carry his weight because Pierce is still next up in rotation. The Stampeders and NHL's Flames have home games starting at the same time Friday in Calgary. I assume Glenn gets the start for Calgary. Of note- The Bombers allowed only 122 yards of net offence in a Week 2 win over Montreal, which is where they will play on Monday afternoon. No team has allowed fewer yards in a game this season. And speaking of P. Neufeld - Neufeld, a 24-year-old Regina native, still looked a little shocked about being in enemy territory, but he got assurances from ex-Bomber Brendon LaBatte that it wouldn’t be all bad going to Winnipeg. “I talked to Blue a bit about it, and he was all positive about it,” Neufeld said. “He said he had a great experience here and loved playing here, so it definitely made things a lot easier.”
  22. Letter
  23. And you're only coming out with this now? You could have called Pat DeM and let him know about this. Or do you think he blocks his calls. Like that would work.
  24. Go ahead, finish. Etienne isn't even starting....what?
  25. It's either this ....OR.....
