I happens on this and other Blue Bomber forums, Jets forums, the comments section in newspapers... AND, the media in this city. It's the nature of the 'Winnipeg Way' of comparing our accomplishments with those of 'real stars'. It's a revision to the 'law of diminishing returns' where the results are still good, but our perception is more humbled.

The naked man, works 2 out of 3 times. Personally, it's the naked woman...and then, the percentage is higher.

Well all I know is that he must be concussed. From that article: "Reilly said it was a hard hit but did not contribute to the concussion." Yeah right. That was one hell of a hit, and he was completely helpless, and yes, he will be fined. Reilly has been taking hellacious hits all year long and we all knew this was coming, but somehow, I don't think you can keep him out.

Yeah, it is too bad, if they only had a Nichol for every time they their QB gets hit.

Well, now we know there is no one behind him. I'd like to know what the hell they were doing with this guy who looked so completely out of tune with everything around him. He looked so far from prepared, it seemed he was the one on the practice roster or even just off the bus. And I gotta tell you, you didn't have to leave him in for a half to see what you had. Hall #1 Goltz #2 Cut Boltus, activate Brown. Move on.

As far as I'm concerned, we are progressing, albeit in a reverse scenario. We finally, without Buck, are getting a look at who shouldn't be here, whether as a starter or back up. That is worth something because it's looking, possibly, as there will be one or maybe no returnees. It's just that we have to be ready, this time, to snag the one we go after...no excuses.

Of what I saw, Knapp was bad at guard. But you're wrong on Labbe. And did you see the so-called roughing penalty he was charged with? Good grief.

So then you would pay him more money to be our starting middle linebacker than you would pay Bighill........think about it before you answer. Bighill 10 tackles, 1 sack and of course the gift he got for the TD Muamba 11 tackles, 1 deflection, but he didn't get any gift TD. It's not Bighill vs. Muamba......It's Muamba, NI...he is valuable. He was our best NI. Look at it another way. Who was BC's best NI last night? Arguably..Andrew Harris. - 14 carries 73 yds. 1TD Our best import? Probably Denmark - 6 recp. 118 yds. 2TDs Bighill and Harris vs Denmark and Muamba That kinda balances the board more.

Of course he is. But he doesn't get to play against us.....yet.

So, to recap: Labbe played a very good game. But I feel for our defence, they never got a chance to play defence on their own terms. Didn't object, at first, to Boltus getting some playing time. It's the when he was put in the game that bothers me. Strongly object to Boltus not being pulled from the game - so far from being ready. I would like to know which coach thought he was ready enough to play, never mind back-up. Very doubtful he should even be our roster. Can we say it again? QB coach QB coach...please. Really, I don't think Hollywood could have scripted a worse game to watch. Did you know that was the 5th time in 13 games this year, the Bombers turned over the ball on their opening drive. Almost impossible. And 34 points off of turnovers? Is that a record? And Max Hall. Hall can move the ball...unfortunately, both ways. He does have a solid grasp of the game though...it's just that he chokes the life right out of it. Right now, according to what we've seen, two of our QBs should even be on a CFL roster. Maybe not even a PR spot. And we haven't even seen the other one. Does anybody miss Elliott or Brink yet? Really, c'mon, let's scoop somebody's PR QB, and I mean today.

Two separate arguments there. Bighill had a great game, with lots handed right to him. He was much better than his Toronto game where Collaros made a Molehill out of him.

I don't know if you pay top dollar for your 7 NI starters, at least not initially. I wonder if there is any team who pays their top 7 starters top 7 starting money. You pay your quality players, quality money, as evidenced when FA comes up. We have tried to extend our better players every year and in LaBatte's case...league top dollars.

Game Day? Bombers? It's ingrained. I have no control on the passion I feel about the Bombers. I don't know exactly how, I don't exactly when, all I know is....it can't be undone.
