That's baloney. 2 of 9 with 3 drops tells you he can't read defences? And on the other side of the ledger, when you put up the ball where the receiver has to you know, catch it...you consider it a circus catch. Do you know how often a QB throws up the ball so that only the receiver can catch it? Have you not seen games in the last 2 weeks where this has happened often? They get credit and Goltz gets none. Typical of you.

It wouldn't bother me to switch QBs if that's what the coaches see and want to do. We are now in the position to play our QBs as we see fit and to evaluate. In the past we would play Buck simply because it was mistakingly thought it would give us the best chance to win. Thank gawd, we're past that. I want to see now, how our QBs are assessed and if they can show enough to earn an invite for next year.

Comment on Suber...Sask fan; Someone needs to spear subar. He's a goon.
-
It seems good comments and good feelings always follow good Parenteaux decisions.
-
But I have an itch.
-
Assuming this is true, do you then keep Cauchy at safety, or throw an import there since you now have the flexibility to do so? Tempting...tempting.
-
Well, all I know is what I've seen. Our line is bad. I personally don't know if Parenteau is an upgrade over what we have...but I can't see how he couldn't be.

Ask, and ye shall receive. Thanks Kyle!

It should take a while longer for the D to puff out it's chest. Before yesterday, they could hardly be called upon to keep us in the game. Hey, but frustration will do that, to any team, in any given game. But all you guys, with inside sources, who know somebody, who absolutely know what's going on...well, keep it to yourselves please.

It's debatable when you present the statements : My point is that Buck did not harm the Winnipeg Blue Bombers. He did nothing negative to the team. No, HE didn't harm the Bombers. But i stronlgy disagree that HE wasn't a negative TO the team. There's a difference. And the team, as a unit, could not move forward with Buck as our MAYBE QB. As to his abilities, I just don't see them anymore. Now is it possible, behind a solid unit with protection, that he'll flourish? I still doubt it. But I'll tell you what, this franchise seems better already...and that says a lot .

He's the interim GM. I expect him to make moves to improve this club. Nice, minor moves thus far. He'll continue 'til the end of the year, then I want a full scale search for the best GM we can get. In the meantime, please sign: -a non-dwarf DB, who stays this time -an O- lineman who can make a difference. Also, I expect he is keeping track of all potential QBs currently on other rosters, someone who we could get...in the near future. I don't necessarilly expect a trade in that regard but rather, a positioning and understanding of when, and whom, to pounce on.

To follow BP continuing saga, for those so inclined, there is a BC lions fan forum. Gushings/explanations should continue over there.

Pardon me, I'll have to wait for the Cole's notes version. Sounds like Shakespeare to me.
-
Suber was super. You're the only one I've seen mention otherwise.
-
Still classy eh?
-
Well this is it. This is it exactly. We...got something...for..Buck? Wally? What the hell just happened here?
-
Wait, I thought you were included in that trade.
-
The secondary was okay because Durant was under so much pressure. I can't honestly think of a single play Suber made today that warranted any praise. What I don't like about him is how he seems to arrive late and then pile-on head-first just to make his hair extensions flop around. He might think it looks cool but I think it looks ridiculous. I've come in here late, but I've got to tell you, you're way off on Suber tonight. He had his best game in awhile out there, tackling, being on the ball and shutting down. Another piece that was part of an outstanding defence today. For as much spittle as they've been getting lately, that's the kind of D that helps win games.

GDT: Sunday Is A Day To Pray For Miracles

Got no love for Goltz eh? We wanted no Buck so that we could play a QB and give him some time to develop. Seems to me, as a team, we got exactly that. Our defence was back to outstanding and Goltz did just enough to get us the win. Ugly? Yes. Win? Yes. Playing time? Yes. And for those who think all Goltz did was throw a heave and a prayer, I can tell you there were at least 3 other QBs who've done that in the last little while. They let their receivers make plays. And you know what? That's what our receivers did today. And it it for wasn't for that bitching bad call in the end zone, this game would have over sooner. And that would be on Goltz too. -

Who? Saskatchewan? -
The whole point of playing Goltz and giving him starts is to find out what he's got and to see how much he has progressed from game to game. It was necessary to get off the Buck bandwagon. And I think you are selling Goltz short in his learning curve. He is progressing. He may not be a runaway best seller, but the exact point of him playing lets us see where he is going, especially with a somewhat improved game-calling scheme. The 1st half of last week's game was as good a half as we've seen all year, and I know that's not saying much...but I'll say it anyways...much. He's got to get to the next level however, and win that game. It didn't happen last week, but for a while there, it looked like it could.
-
Actually I thought his accuracy on the long throws improved after that. The accuracy of one of these statements is at hand.

Montreal really exposed BC's weaknesses on their O-Line and general blocking schemes. Today, Hamilton continued to take advantage of this disadvantage. BC had no answer. Lulay was sacked 3 times and hit, hard, several more times. On top of that, he appeared off his game...again. Hurting his throwing hand did not help at all. The panel said they had not many weapons in their arsenal. I say they had no Arceneaux in their in their weapons. One catch...19 yards. Hamilton, with the way things are set up in the East, is poised for a run at 1st place, and hard as it is for me to say it, they deserve it.

Errr, the secondary. Here we are, game 10 and the only change in our d-backs is a walk through for a..a grouse on his way back to..?? It pisses me off that we can't fix our secondary through better scheming or planning or replacing. Do we not check film to see what our opponents are doing? Especially to us? With apologies to Bob Dylan: You may be a H Back covering man to man You may be a corner, playing in a plan You may have long hair or be 5'2" But you're going to have to 'stop somebody'
