Randum thoughts: Yes, that was as conservative play calling as you will see from Calgary, but you're right, a good RB and a short work week will do that to a game plan. I see a young QB who is a rookie in this league, he might work out, he might not. Too early to tell. But if you think he hasn't been lucky, especially in that BC game, then your definition of luck is different than mine.

Buck's contract is guaranteed at this point, so they might as well keep him around for emergency purposes. That's right, somebody has to show the new QBs how to roll on the field and take help from the training staff when walking off the field. The dazed look, sitting on the bench, however, cannot be taught. Sorry Buck...it's just too much.

It's been said by many that if the top teams lost their #1 QBs, what would they look like? Well now we know. We haven't had a #1 QB, so we've been exposed for quite some time already. Looks like our decision to embrace Buck as our starter was even a worse decision than we all feared. Any kind of continuity at QB might have meant 1 more victory and who knows where that could have led. 2013's the year and the curse of BP lingers on.

What a year for the Bombers to pull a no show. Right now, a three team run for 1st place.
