  1. On the panel, at half time, Dunigan didn't mind Hervey calling out Rottier, but Climie and Schultz voiced their displeasure with it. Oh and the game? Pretty dull. Collaros? Meh. But Montreal did find a QB who looks like Anthony....in scrambling footwork.
  2. Nah, too early, we'll wait 'til he's Rottiest.
  3. He's our sleeper. We're saving him.
  4. Well, they had an American playing the other guard position and I don't know which one did worse.
  5. Rottier 'n Denmark? There's something familiar about that.
  6. It's the new Eskimo way.
  7. To be fair, drafting guys who go to the NFL is a bit of a crapshoot. If Oakland didn't have such a horrible D line, and if Dezman Moses had a better camp, we'd be giddy over the prospects of a Bilukidi/Mulumba/Hall/Peach/Turner rotation. At least Mack had the bullets in the chamber to fire, even if some were off target. I think this is more correct in what was said about draft picks. It is the fact that we were keeping picks rather than pimping them away for nothing. At least you have a chance to hit a target if you have arrows in your quiver.
  8. You're not allowed to use the word accurate for awhile. Goltz threw only 2 picks.
  9. I'm astounded for several things: Edmonton's QB protection is horrible. I believe they're using an American at guard, and he's brutal Reilly's body must be black and blue. Un_be_liev_able that they would leave Reilly in the game when they play again on Friday. Reilly can play, but you have to wonder how long he can last.
  10. He said exactly that. He didn't want to play centre but decided not to say anything. That's the way I remember it. It wasn't brought up 'til later. Belief it...or not.
  11. I believe all along they had the intent to start Hall, but his injury kinda bumped that idea, so I have no problem with the idea to go back to Hall to start in the B Bowl. The Riders won't know Hall and Hall gets his workout. But I don't mind either way. We got what we wanted. No Buck. It won't be considered a circus if they plan out their practices.
  12. Congrats to Goltz even with the loss. A young guy, 3rd game, in that madhouse of a stadium and he mostly functioned well. The warts are slowly falling off. This is what most of us were saying...gotta let the young guys get reps and play to develop. Some of the things Justin did in that game...Buck just can't do. (except the ints-Buck can handle those)
  13. And iso, all things considered includes monetary offers. And if Mack offered more money......only leaves the inevitable conclusion that Taman matches the offer, hence all things considered. I think you're trying too hard not to believe something that is just a simple action of going home
  14. Best of the bunch? 14 for 32 329 yds (86 on one play) 1TD 4 int. And two fumbles Bit early to say that.
  15. Tell me Iso, in your own opinion, what do YOU think LaBatte was thinking and where you think he really would have gone. No Mack BS involved, just where would LaBatte have ended up, all things considered?
  16. It's nice to see any receiver get 4 receptions in OUR offence. Oh, and he said solid game, not game breaker.
  17. It was worth a challenge flag.
  18. I see what you did there. You definitely have an interesting mind (and that is a compliment). That is much appreciated.
  19. There's no proof his previous agent advised him incorrectly. His former agent has represented a number of CFL players and still does. Also it appears his initial claim of not being offered a 1+1 contract was dropped since there hasn't been a mention of that since this first went public iirc. But, but....you left out my big IF in the 1st sentence. That is the bread crumb of explanation that leads right to the loaf of understanding.
  20. Mike Reily? For a second there I thought we had our eye on a Quarterback, who could also Head Coach.
  21. And this is how I recall it also.
  22. Oh how wrong you are. I assume you're talking only about the R Ray information. Did you notice how Tait had a story beyond this tidbit of info. And that he prefaced the t/bit with "consider it for what it's worth." He didn't lead the reader to a conclusion, unlike Friesen would have done or like the OP did in this thread. He teased us with 'sources' and some people bit hard.
  23. Walters is already in a tough, almost no-win situation. He may do a stellar job from here on in and be rewarded with a skeptical no thanks. OTOH, if he does enough to warrant a serious look, his detractors are already loading their told-ya-so weapons.
