Ha, that was the 1st thing I noticed. He should have consulted with somebody.
-
But you see, that's where you're wrong. Playing Buck would be giving up the season.
-
So, why change anything, right? Go back to basic soup in the can. Yeah, why would it make sense to accept this year for what it is and find our new QB?
-
i don't mind at all the way he was speaking. He was quick and concise and he projects that he has an understanding of where to go from here. "Take the mental part out of the game and just let the players play" He says that way we can see who actually can perform. I like.

I'm OK with you calling me Mr.
-
I heard he took the pen right out of his beard and signed the contract.

Hopefully Marcel has the balls (game balls) and gives them to Hall. We might find out at 11:30 Wpg time when MB is introduced.

Brandon was right. It was an entertaining game that was close thanks to the efforts of Henry, Stamps and Reilly. The QBs of both teams were accurate. At one point there were 33 passes thrown, of which 30 were completed. Field goals kept it close for Edmonton and they just wouldn't back down. Longer passes were the order of the day. A bit lucky at times, but make no mistake, Reilly had an outstanding game and some great catches kept their drives alive. It was more of a game where plays were made when they had to be made. I think the right team won in the end.

Mike Reilly had a very good game and is progressing nicely. They had to suffer through a few bad games but it looks like he's arrived. We have the same record as they but, we're not patient (or wise) enough to pick and stick with one QB and develop him. Can one (Hall) or the other (Goltz) develop? With the crutch still on the team, we might not find out. Yes, it was a fun game to watch.

Creehan has to go... replace him with who?
Mr Dee replied to Brandon's topic in Blue Bomber Discussion
We could just call him Beautiful Sheet. I always thought feuille was leaf. Weird the google translate says it is sheet. Actually, it can mean both as nouns. Back in the day, in Ste. Anne Mb. I remember having 'scribblers' or 'cahiers'. But these were stapled and together in a booklet. Not loose as in loose leaf booklets. The term loose leaf is the same- loose leaf or sheets of paper. Does that make sense? If not, send me a note....on a leaf or sheet of beautiful Marcel. -

Oh come on. This is a fan message board for sheet sake. I'm sure Marcel has heard it all before and probably laughs about it. Spell the guy's name correctly, be it a player or coach. He's now on our team now. Call him MB or Marcel if you have to. But that's just me, so you don't have worry about it. -

...and should be spelt respectfully, now that he is on our staff. -

Bellefeuille, he's our Coach now. -
Question....does Marcel ask K Walters to give Q. Porter a call?
-
Everybody knows the answer to that!
-
I agree. So, what do we call you?

He shouldn't be a HC then should he??? I mean, someone has to be in charge. A HC always has the final say. Always except this dude. Pretty easy for Burke to defer decisions on assistants & say, "Hey, not me. I never did it.". When it blows up there's no blood on Burke. Cop out. A coach designated the OC to run the offence and pick his QB to better suit his offence. That is all that happened here. Coach Burke is wrong about many things but letting his OC choose the starting QB is was not the wrong decision IMO he's not wrong to let the OC choose the qb, he was wrong to bring it up in the media that he did it. Burke is the guy in charge, he should take ownership of every decision and not open himself up for the silly criticisms like that. What you're saying is true, he is the Head Coach and his bringing it up to the media is now in his package of wrong and rights...but that wasn't the question I asked the poster...

So there!

No, not at all. Here's a question for you. Why not just say he hired Crowton ? Why pretend LaPolice went on a field trip and bumped into Crowton, then force LaPolice to do a Presser saying it was he who hired Crowton? Tell me, 'cause I just don't get the answer. Why the subterfuge?

How to get Aaron Woods more involved in the offence?
Mr Dee replied to B-F-F-C's topic in Blue Bomber Discussion
He should always run a pattern underneath out main target. That way when the ball is under thrown, voila, genius play calling! -

http://www.cjob.com/sportsshow/ In Gary Crowton's own words: "very appreciative to Coach LaPolice for bringing me here"

I believe Burke when he says he doesn't do offence. And you're saying he should dictate who starts at QB?
-
And while I agree with the basic concept of what you're saying, I find that our defence is far too predictable. It's less than a coincidence that teams come in here with their game plans tailored to what they know we'll do. We've played good QBs but the high percentage of completions coincide with a good master plan and executed to a tee. And we cannot disrupt it with what we're doing. Rushing only four most of the time sets us perfectly and our secondary isn't good enough to continually cover effectively.
