You just made my point... A serviceable QB. That's how your team bought some time. I believe that's what was wanted for our org. also. With a serviceable QB, we could be 2-3 or arguably 3-2. That would buy some time for us. It all starts with the QB...you must realize that. ('Course having an excellent coaching staff doesn't hurt)

What I saw last night was Calgary making a great half time adjustment where Cornish was running, they saw a gap and exploited it for the rest of the game, eating up valuable time and exposing passing routes and generally tiring out our defence. But the defence gets no pass from me on this night. The coaching staff said they had a good game plan for Calgary, but a poorly prepared team is what we saw. And they could not/would not make any adjustments (blitzing for ex.) We had no answer for Cal.'s half time adjustment and that's on the coaches. This coaching staff has us perfectly ready for pre-season games, notwithstanding some of our injuries. That's the entire coaching staff. Burke, as a HC with credibility, is fading fast. (third down gamble instead of a FG? - wrong time, wrong station) The O, last night was an improvement and provides a little hope (Crowton notwithstanding). Goltz did well, considering, and should be prepped for future games. (I did say - should be) The unprofessionalism of this team is starting to show and we're quickly falling behind other teams. At this point, Burke has to be saddled with the blame. He is responsible for the mess his co-ordinators are shoving down our throats and changes of a sort should be made. (consequences) Bo L Mitchell executed a very good Calgary game plan and looks solid to be their future. Their defence did just enough when they had to. (they got plenty of rest) Looks like a p... poor start for the Blue....again, but they better work harder going forward, because a lot of jobs could be at stake.

Well, is it an upset if we start Goltz and Calgary wins? So, it must be the team. It would be an upset. (You can put an asterisk if we win)

Larry Taylor - active on KRs all night long. Quincy Butler - serving up a few TDs BL Mitchell - play all the way to the 2nd quarter where they seal their fate with the play of Tate. And finally... Junior Turner - when there's already a DT named Bryant Turner....you're going to be known as Junior.

You already have a website to do that & most of us don't care because we don't post there anymore. We all want Goltz to succeed but we don't need to have a guy here needlessly pumping Justin Goltz not because he likes him but instead to draw attention to himself. So yeah, play it cool here & you'll be welcome. Maybe I'm overstepping my bounds by saying my piece here as I'm not a mod but I like to think that the more knowledgeable Bomber fans hang out here. Therefore, we'll judge Goltz on his own merit & not from a cheerleader.
