  1. Oh great, now there's two guys who refuse to throw in the towel.
  2. Careful now...
  3. Dare I say that if Elliott played in that game last night, we probably win....and it certainly would have been more exciting.
  4. Goltz may not be deemed to be ready, but, right now we are playing a QB who is not ready to play a CFL game. Seriously. So what's the difference? Are you afraid of turnovers? Missed throws? Improper reads? Read those three things again. That's our "experienced , best chance QB" right there. Goltz may do those three things, but he may also scramble to avoid the rush, throw on the run, throw deep and I sincerely think he can handoff a ball. Right now, there is no advantage playing Buck. None.
  5. And that's a big difference.

  7. No, there is no reason for Buck to continue. What I saw out of Buck tonight, could easily have been outdone by a 2nd string QB...sad to say. I mean, really, would Goltz have done any worse?
  8. With any kind of quarterback, who can hit receivers in the open, and throw the ball away on an obvious blitz, or scramble, the O-line wouldn't be an issue. No, this game is solely on Buck.
  9. It really is time to sit Buck Pierce.
  10. That was an auspicious debut for the young man and that transition from QB to receiver lends hope that maybe, with a little bit of Godly help, we can change one of our better receivers into a full-time QB. Does anyone know if Doug Pierce can throw a football?
  11. Are we now finally seeing the downfall of the mighty Anthony Calvillo. Even if it's a dreadful O plan, AC just isn't throwing the ball right.
  12. An old song for those Alouette perfrmances.... Alouette, gentille alouette....Alouette, je te plumerai.. Little skylark, lovely little skylark....Little lark, I'll pluck your feathers off.
  13. Just remember, our defence did dominate last week, that doesn't change. They played well. Doubtful they replicate that kind of game though. Our offence didn't play particularly well, but just enough to win. Hopefully that improves.
  14. 3 second down conversions on one drive, for Montreal, as opposed to 3 all game last week. Now that's a stat.
  15. I agree, but I would like to hear Anthony say 'disgusting' again. It was so heartfelt.
  16. Poised and ready to see the exact same things. Should be interesting.
  17. Sask. had a great running attack planned for this game and Sheets, with a lot of blocking help, executed it to his abilities. Also, what they did to limit Ray's medium/long throws, allowed him only good QB ratings numbers and not much else. No To. running game. A strong performance once again by those #$%^ Riders.
  18. But that's the very point. Buck is no longer allowed to try to make those plays. I'm not even sure he has the mindset to try. Everybody has told him not to do what came natural for him and that severely limits what he can do as a QB. Guess who the square peg is in this image.
  19. Just how far is it from Scarves-borough to the Stadium?
  20. Hard to cheer for either of these teams. I can always hope for a tie I guess.
  21. Chad Simpson.
  22. Bryant has so inspired the club that no stone has gone unturned to find a another Turner to put some more awe in 'some', for it is known to many that one good Turner deserves another.
  23. Bryant saw the need for all things 'turn' to be shaped and done, so it so became turner.
  24. The phrase great return is subjective I guess, because last year, in the final game, it was JJ's lengthy return that set up our last touchdown, which won the game. That was pretty 'great'. signed - a staunch supporter
