The who’s who of who*dlems. A prize lineup to be sure.

Madani has been a real asp over these talks and non-talks, blaming almost anyone associated with the league. I can take one or two tweets, but he goes on and on about what he knows....which is nothing.

Not to mention these prize-wining people:

2019-20 Grey Cup Champs Off-season discussion.
Mr Dee replied to Wanna-B-Fanboy's topic in Blue Bomber Discussion
Marcus will pop up somewhere again. No doubt. -
I’ll tell you what. I’ll take Bob Irving’s take and Wade Miller's take over some random statements made from hither and either. This is not an interest free loan in normal times. It probably would have been a low interest loan anyways. And if the league had approached it in the wrong way, why didn’t somebody from the Gov. guide them in a better fashion, and with a greater urgency. It’s not that it was a surprise that the league wanted to start as soon as possible. Of course mistakes were made, by both sides. This has never happened before. And the aim is to point blame at one side or the other? Seems fruitless. 2021 season can’t come soon enough.

(CNN) - Former first lady Michelle Obama's speech at the Democratic National Convention was not just a powerful condemnation of President Donald Trump's record and handling of the pandemic, it was an appeal aimed at the heart and conscience of every American who has watched the chaos of the last four years and yearned to make things right. In the centerpiece speech of the night, a searing indictment of her husband Barack Obama’s successor, Obama declared that Trump has mishandled the pandemic and failed to respond to outcries over the deaths of Black Americans. She warned that the nation would suffer more if he is elected to a second term. “Let me be as honest and clear as I possibly can: Donald Trump is the wrong president for our country. He has had more than enough time to prove that he can do the job, but he is clearly in over his head. He cannot meet this moment. He simply cannot be who we need him to be for us,” she said, before quoting a line Trump used about covid-19 deaths in a recent interview: “It is what it is.”https://apple.news/AenAOJJ9GToqo53vVwbq-5Q 👁🗨 Dang those Obamas can give good speeches. Miles ahead of anything the Republicans have shown so far.

Fans were wondering about no information from the league...

My nephew lists occasion after occasion on F/B with each one saying... Religion, please go away. And this why. Personally, I fail to see how you can say you’re religious and putting people in harm’s way. 17 cases out of 100, in that example in Alberta, is a huge percentage. There are enough known examples now to restrict these events or better yet, not allow them...

CFL Plagued By Non-Support

Well, there is another consideration. No Rod Black for a year...

1) Yes, that loan does seem reasonable without seeing the actual numbers. 2) There’s more here than meets the eye. Somebody (private owners I guess) is controlling that line of scrimmage and I don’t believe it’s Ambrosie. As to Dunk’s credibility? Still intact. What I didn’t like was this phrasing: “There are over 37 million people who live in Canada and the CFL wanted to be treated as a special case.“ In my opinion Justin, the CFL is a special case, and both sides could have worked harder, earlier, to signify that. But it didn’t happen and I hope we get that announcement today. (Marty York has tweeted again today still saying it will happen) https://twitter.com/martyyork/status/1295179232964993026?s=21

78 Days until the election...

There is only one place to assign blame, if that’s the direction we want to go....it’s the Federal Government. They could have made it happen, but chose to ignore the valuable impact this league made all across Canada. Shameful.

Again, no season Denied the loan. Although it’s probably for the best, it’s still a very sh__ty minor league call from the Feds Al

You have to be a little on the dim side to not recognize a woman of stature and say, out loud, that you’re insulted because Biden was choosing a woman for his V.P. If I’m going to compare, in the very little time that Harris has spoken, she already has surpassed Trump’s choice as V.P. in the things they both have said. I guess all men should be insulted by Chump’s choice...

I don’t know, I don’t know... Marty YorkThings could be starting to shake in the CFL.“I don’t come out with many CFL scoops anymore, but I have one for you tonight,” York wrote from Toronto. “The league WILL be back in business soon and there WILL be a shortened season – and the Feds WILL give the CFL a few million dollars, about a sixth of the $150-million originally sought.”All this contradicts the Friday morning report by Sportsnet’s Arash Madani that multiple privately-owned CFL franchises don’t want to play in 2020 for a variety of reasons. However Marty York stated that the Argos and Lions are “coming around”.https://rodpedersen.com/sunday-cfl-update/
