You’re quibbling about the fact it’s a federal facility and not the scope of the “grant” versus a high interest loan? OK then.

The Canadian Football League has presented its financial plan for the interest-free loan request from the Canadian government.According to Canadian Press reporter Dan Ralph, the new CFL ask to the feds is for $30 million total, $28 million of which would fund a shortened 2020 season.Approximately two-thirds (or about $19 million) would go towards covering player salaries and operation of the CFL bubble in Winnipeg, its tentative hub city. Roughly half the overall total (or around $14 million) would be allocated for hub-city costs like food and lodging, testing and buses for players, coaches and support staff.https://3downnation.com/2020/08/05/cfl-earmarks-5-million-of-canadian-government-interest-free-loan-request-for-player-salaries/?utm_source=dlvr.it&utm_medium=twitter

Lincoln Project Trolls GOP Senators With Biting Trump Impersonator EndorsementsThe Lincoln Project ― a group of conservative never-Trumpers ― recruited comic J-L Cauvin, who is known for his uncanny presidential impersonation, to “endorse” senators Susan Collins (Maine) Dan Sullivan (Alaska) and Steve Daines (Montana), all up for reelection in November. 👁🗨 So well done..

La de da. This is exactly the point some of us were trying to make. Money for nothing for the ‘arts’ culture, but a bad loan for the lower class culture? C’mon, you can do better than that Canada.

Wishing and hoping and lying and almost praying won’t get it done. I wonder how many times he’s said Obama or hoax...

I have it on good authority that this virus will be going away. In fact I’ve heard it’s going away, will just disappear, 23 times. In fact, we all have. There is one thing we all wish would go away..

Well, what a great deal. Drive through, get your car washed, and a tonsil swab at the same time. 🤪 However, here, in Windsor, it is a nose swab. It does not take long like you say. One second for each poke of the swab up your nostril. It is not a pleasant experience as it does reach way up there where they suspect your brain is. I imagine Trump’s tests are more in line as to what you had done, as I suspect they’d be poking forever to find his brain.

Bravo for the news that Neil Young is suing the orange gloop and the re-election campaign. Neil Young is suing Donald Trump's re-election campaign for repeatedly using his music without his permission. The Canadian has objected to the use of Rockin' in the Free World and Devil's Sidewalk for what he called an "un-American campaign of ignorance and hate".https://www.bbc.com/news/entertainment-arts-53661683

Jonathan Swan face during Trump interview on COVID shows how Americans feelUsually when reporters interview President Trump they do their best to remain stonefaced.HBO just aired an interview between Axios reporter Jonathan Swan and Trump, and - Swan could not fix his face. It's very likely your social media is chockablock with photos of his reactions to Trump's wild claims, and the country is better for it.- Swan could not fix his face when Trump lied about the US coronavirus testing capability.-Swan could not fix his face when Trump claimed he "would've done something about" intel that Russia was paying the Taliban bounties to kill US soldiers but "it didn't reach" his desk.- Swan could not fix his face when Trump told him: "I read a lot, I comprehend extraordinarily well, probably better than anyone you've interviewed."- Swan could not fix his face as Trump discredited mail-in voting at the same time the Trump campaign is encouraging it.- Swan tried every respectful way to get Trump to answer direct questions and stay on topic - to use reason. It was like herding cats, and seemed very exhausting, but it reflected the reality of Trump's disjointed thought patterns and inability to accept responsibility.Business Insider https://youtu.be/zaaTZkqsaxY 👁🗨 This is an interesting interview and, of course, doesn’t paint the fake president in a very good light. No interview he does would do that. It is long though, but the interesting thing is, Trump’s nose didn’t grow accordingly or else he easily would have fallen forward off his chair.

Wow! Impressive.

They’re polar opposites...truth and this administration

Ya, that’s about right.

In a play such as this, the instigator usually gets the benefit of a doubt, depending on a number of factors. One of the factors, being an agitator like Tkachuk, moves the needle more to the intent side as opposed to unfortunate accident. Did Tkachuk plan it? Of course not. He’s not that smart. But, could he have adjusted the skate angle? I think so. We, on the TV feed, could not see the right angle, but one knows when there is danger in an upcoming hit. Did he hold up his skate too long? It’s Tkachuk, and his reputation, and thats why there are questions.

👁🗨 This just gets stupider and stupider... The Trump administration wants the next round to include 377 million dollars so they can redecorate the West Wing of the White House. - Farron Cousins (The Ring of Fire) 👁🗨 Think about that one.. .

DYK This is how you get your message across...

That’s a good question...

In Australia, with a spike to 13 COVID deaths a day, the government declares a disaster and imposes emergency restrictions in Melbourne. In the U.S., with a surge to 1,200 COVID deaths a day, the president goes golfing. @BillKristol

Wow. That’s a pretty darn good effort out there when they could have just played to lose. They had the excuses. Thats the good news, the bad news is no turn around time. Can they do it again with the youngsters and a tired looking Wheeler? Yup!

Mr Dee replied to wbbfan's topic in Blue Bomber Discussion
“I’m tell y’all right now.. I’m not leaving the CFL to go play in the XFL.. although the Rock seems more trustworthy , CFL has been around for 100 years and XFL has failed twice. I love the CFL & it’s some real competition up North!” - Vernon Adams Jr. -
Keep it up Chris, but I tell you, you sure look better in Blue and Gold..
