  1. Lawler Setting Sights High For Sophomore Campaign With BombersLawler said that Darvin Adams and Drew Wolitarsky both helped him out immensely when it came to learning the waggle and other nuances of the Canadian game along with the playbook....“It was just infectious. There was something in the air and it felt like if you were a Winnipeg Blue Bomber, we knew that we were going to win and we knew what was going to work from that preparation.”...Not many people are able to achieve that in their football career. I feel very grateful to be able to call myself a Grey Cup champion. Now, I hold myself to a standard and I know what it takes to be there. I’m going to hold it very highly. I’m a father, I’m a husband, I’m a Grey Cup champion.”https://www.cfl.ca/2020/06/13/lawler-setting-sights-high-sophomore-campaign-bombers/

  3. Why is his tongue firmly planted in his cheek? President Trump said he’ll leave the White House peacefully if he loses this November’s presidential election, addressing concerns he would try to hold onto power after a defeat.https://thehill.com/homenews/administration/502564-trump-says-hell-leave-white-house-peacefully-if-biden-wins
  4. When Donald Trumps says:"I think the concept of chokeholds sounds so innocent and so perfect.", he knows of what he speaks. During his whole Presidency, he’s done nothing but choke.
  5. On a related not: Kyle Griffin - Senior Producer - MSNBC A Whirlpool plant in Tulsa, Oklahoma has temporarily closed due to a coronavirus outbreak one week before Trump holds a rally in the city. And Tulsa County now has its highest seven-day average of coronavirus cases since the outbreak began in March.
  6. Yeah, respect, that’s totally why he’s doing it.. US President Donald Trump is postponing his first post-coronavirus lockdown election rally in Tulsa, Oklahoma so it does not fall on a holiday commemorating the end of US slavery. He tweeted that the 19 June rally would be held a day later out of respect for the occasion, known as Juneteenth. The choice of date had drawn criticism amid nationwide anti-racism protests. The location was also controversial, as Tulsa saw one of the worst massacres of black people in US history in 1921. Up to 300 people died when a white mob attacked the prosperous black neighbourhood of Greenwood, known as the "Black Wall Street", with guns and explosives. About 1,000 businesses and homes were also destroyed. https://www.bbc.com/news/world-us-canada-53032664?xtor=AL-72-[partner]-[bbc.news.twitter]-[headline]-[news]-[bizdev]-[isapi]&at_custom3=%40BBCWorld&at_custom2=twitter&at_medium=custom7&at_custom1=[post+type]&at_custom4=5B288936-AD50-11EA-B99E-DDAA4744363C&at_campaign=64 Sent from my iPad
  7. I got in my comfortable chair and I’m getting ready to watch some CFL football. SIGH!
  8. I seriously think we should use only 25 letters in the alphabet from now on and deprive these reprobates of who they are. Do you think that would be O_?
  9. Trump on police chokeholds: "I think the concept of chokeholds sounds so innocent and so perfect." Perhaps a demonstration is in order...with you as the chokee.. It would be....so beautiful.
  10. Yeah well, good to hear from you. With all the wildness in Seattle, there were those who thought johnzo was a gonezo..😉
  11. Going to have throw the flag on this one. Delay of game, whether intentional or not. As we sit on the sidelines of this CFL season with the immense frustration of not knowing what the H is going on behind the scenes in the CFL head office, imagine the frustration the players are going through because, for a lot of them, this is their living.I’ve been sitting on the fence on this issue ever since that dampenic came into being, but now I wonder why a plan hasn’t been discussed over the immediate future of the CFL season. And why, for heaven’s sakes, hasn’t the CFLPA, been involved all along. There’s some pretty good thinkers in that group and you’d have to think they could help with the guidelines. This season was supposed to have started already, with all the players involved. Hopefully, the head office will get them involved in a matter that affects them directly. GET IT DONE!
  12. Funny thing is we don’t have to stop at taking back Canada. We can take the USA too, as these people are urging! We’re Canada and we’ve got a sense of humour, as these Americans are pointing out...😁
  13. Way to go Gov...
  14. In the age of the new Melania..

  16. Maybe competency has a different meaning in the White House.
  17. It’s sad and comical that the President, you know, the person who is supposed to be held to higher standards, in his latest tweet to the Mayor of Seattle, called that “the anarchists must be stooped.”The rest of an aware society just want him to stoop it, but maybe he’s just too stoopid to see it.
  18. Twitterdum is at it again..
  19. Even as Kaleigh McEnany pushes out that the US’s quick action saved hundreds of thousands of COVID cases from arising we get reports like this: Texas reported over 2,500 new coronavirus cases Wednesday—the highest reported in a single day by far since the pandemic started—as the number of Texans currently admitted to hospitals for coronavirus climbed to a new record for the third straight day, as the state, which had one of the fastest and most aggressive reopening timelines in the nation, has seen a surge in infections about two weeks after Memorial Day.Texas isn’t alone in seeing cases jump over the past few days. Over a dozen states across the U.S., including California, have also had a concerning risehttps://www.forbes.com/sites/nicholasreimann/2020/06/10/texas-shatters-record-for-new-coronavirus-cases/#9eade6849230
  20. Speedy, you can’t have it both ways. You've advocated opening things up because you've had it with lockdowns. Understandable. But, now you’re saying it’s irresponsible to have protests in what is probably a huge, potential turning point in American history. The biggest awareness by thousands and thousands of all races. And yes, it does come with potential problems, but they’ve made their choices because they’ve had enough. But why call the organizers socialists and communists and single them out for wanting change in a massive attempt to actually make a difference? This shouldn’t be political. It goes beyond that. Its about humankind and the attempt to right so many wrongs.
