Hypothetically, if Brady wants $225,000, are we better signing a guy like Logan from Calgary for $100,000 and bringing in a rookie at $70,000 to pair with him? My initial thought is yes but what do I know. I do wish the CFL published salaries like other major sports.

I'm in agreement with many here. I like Brady. I'd like him back but not at more than $180,000 to $190,000.

Right now the Riders have a QB who will be 38 coming off a serious injury, a subpar Oline, no true #1 WR (see Lawler, Schoen, Mack, Geno) and a non elite RB. I'm not seeing the ingredients for a rocket ship offense.

Mueller has been the QB coach in Calgary too. Given Maier's lack of growth not sure how anybody thinks he's going to build a rocketship offense or that players will flock to him.
