  1. 4 Achillies is a WTF? Losing Dean, Bishop and Lokombo hurts their D too.
  2. Shame for Dean.
  3. Its growing new fans that the CFL needs to work on. As for Sportsnet, mediocre network that spent way to much on NHL rights and as for dreaming about the NFL, not going to happen. NFL would rather have a team in London and/or Mexico City to grow new markets at a minimum.
  4. Which CFL GM takes Fajardo over Harris, BLM, Reily, Adams or Massoli if they could take any of those guys? Let's be honest, in that situation Cody is the cheese that stands alone.
  5. Guys, if we need a QB in November, it is clear that Pinball is going to deal us MBT, don't panic.
  6. Test Positivity and vaccination rates are trending in the right directions. If you look at jurisdictions in the US, the ones with higher Vax levels are seeing less cases and those that have lower rates or pockets of lower vax rates are having issues. We just need Southern Health district to step up.
  7. In the past three years Jennings has 27 td passes and 33 ints. Does an unproven McGuire scare me? Yes. Does bringing in a declining retread scare me? Yes.
  8. So I was thinking today how even after he had emerged as a starter in 2000 and had thrown for 30 tds and led Winnipeg to a playoff win, Khari Jones still got doubted in the media. Fajardo throws 18 tds and loses his only playoff game and he's an MOP candidate. My conclusion is this, the media does not know
  9. That TSN piece felt a little surface level with not a lot of research (ie bringing back core, lots of key guys 30+, untested back up QB). I'd like to see more research beyond what a ten year old could find after spending 15 minutes on google.
  10. According to TheAthletic, Edmonton is interested in Keith and Keith interested in Edmonton. Oilers can have him.
  11. I love our DL with Jefferson and Jeffcoat at DE, Stove at DT, Thomas say at the other DT with Kongbo and Hansen rotating in. Totally forgot about Antigua but his ability to switch between DL and LB is another cool wrinkle. Have not seen this mentioned about our secondary but how about Mike Jones? Really came on late in the year and was a star in the Grey Cup.
  12. Living in Winnipeg for five months already? I like this guy.
  13. Carter at least had some production though. Simonise is like the Dollarama version of Carter.
  14. Meredith is an interesting signing. Good size at 6ft3. Some NFL success. Lots of injuries. I like the signing but not putting him in the starting lineup yet (I can edit this later right if needed ala 1984, right?).
  15. Cap hit of 5.5 million for two more years, 37 year old defensemen who's got a ton of miles and he's a LD. Hard pass.
  16. I am looking forward to seeing a Jeffcoat/Jefferson/Kongbo/Stove Defensive front.
  17. Hypothetically if we had to switch to an American RB. 3 OL+2WR+1DL+1 S would work ratiowise.
  18. Harris appears to be more of the George Reed type aka all star well into his mid 30s. I thought Augustine was solid in 2019 when Harris was out. Oliviera the injury was two years ago and I know he's been training hard and is in good shape.
  19. I expect to see a lot of this at the LDC and Banjo Bowl
  20. 1. Fajardo is the MOP favourite? Did BLM, Reiley, Trevor Harris, Andrew Harris, Vernon Adams and Massoli all die? 2. A guy who threw 3ints and no TDs had an impressive rookie year?
  21. Interior of the OL is something like Boyko+Clark+E. Johnson, not inspiring at all.
  22. Southern Health is roughly 15% lower than Interlake, Northern and Prairie Mountain (54% instead of 69%) and 21% lower than Winnipeg which is over 75%. Even areas such as Downtown Winnipeg and Point Douglas where there are more transient populations or populations that may lack vehicles, net access or phones have much higher rates than Winkler, Morden and Stanley among others, in fact as the entire Southern region so no twisting speaking truthfully.
  23. Argos have an intriguing team. As for the Riders losing another player
  24. I more frustrated with Winkler's Mayor and their MLA Friessen making excuses for their low vax rates. 15% lower than the rest of the province is a joke. Heck Downtown Winnipeg an area with plenty of people who are transient or face other barriers has a much higher vax rate. IMO those jerks need to be called out and shamed.
  25. Hey, its their choice. They can choose to get vaxxed or choose to retire.
