  1. I am in favour of the idea, although I am fortunate and have sick days with my job. Nice play by the NDP and Trudeau. For the NDP, you leveraged the minority to push for something you want. For Trudeau, you agree but its a provincial area so you either get the provinces to agree and you're a hero or you push it and they don't and they take the blame.
  2. Its 2020, you can't go around showing off your **** everywhere in a willy nilly fashion.
  3. Why does he assume its a non citizen living in the US who made that? Or is Trump so far gone he thinks he can deport citizens?
  4. How is his ability to drink Gin?🤣
  5. Totally agree. I mean I'm happy that we're opening up a little in Manitoba because I'd like to be able to go to the library, sit in a coffee shop or restaurant, see friends etc. Hopefully a church service soon but stuff like that is just Wow, not what I want to be doing.
  6. I'll be honest, I don't want the Canada/US border open, North Dakota isn't terrible but the USA as a whole is a mess right now. Thanks for providing the stats @FrostyWinnipeg.
  7. Did you see the pictures from Missouri today?
  8. Just to play devil's advocate, aren't the numbers for North Dakota among the lowest in the US? Aren't the numbers for Western Ontario relatively low as well? That said, am good with our borders being shut down.
  9. Democrats? Its clearly these guys
  10. https://www.cnn.com/2020/05/22/politics/biden-charlamagne-tha-god-you-aint-black/index.html Biden is just really dumb. The Dems need to lock him in his house and keep away from everybody to avoid him saying stupid things. I think they go Kamala Harris or Stacey Abrams for VP.
  11. Honestly not a terrible article, although they basically pointed out the obvious, back up QB is a question mark, the loss of Sayles, Rose and Kongbo hurts, keeping MOS is good. Basically something that a fan in about grade 5 could write.
  12. Dunk missed the obvious, Winnipeg has indoor plumbing. Players will expect to have that at least.
  13. Why not Winnipeg, Justin? Great facility, low rate of Covid in the province, many hotels, on campus facilities.
  14. On the Garden Centre story, I mean, I am just happy things are opening up. If I have to wait to go inside, or stand six feet apart in a line so that I can shop at a store or a coffee shop or where ever, so be it. Not a big deal. Some people just are morons.
  15. On the Hub idea, it actually makes the most sense to go two places in the West. Quebec should be out as Montreal is the current epicenter and Ontario is slightly better but still not great. Go Winnipeg and well pick another western city.
  16. Where would the Hub cities for the CFL be? Of the top of my head, Winnipeg and Saskatchewan have great stadiums and are located in provinces which thankfully have not been as hard hit.
  17. This is not an in depth analysis but Pallister has just acted like a **** too often during this crisis. (See Hydro cuts as one example).
  18. I know its for the good of the league but it pissed me off how many times we've had to prop up Eastern teams.
  19. Off topic but every time I read about winning, I keep thinking I am happy that things are going well in Manitoba on this whole situation though.Roussin has done a great job.
  20. I'd argue both Jefferson and Jeffcoat would have deserved MVP over Mike Jones. Jones did have a great game though.
  21. It will be interesting to see how states like Michigan, Wisconsin, Florida, Ohio and Pennslyvania vote. Trump won them all last time in close races. I don't see that happening again.
  22. Sidewalk would be better than the bridge. A lot of people walk/bike/blade etc over that bridge during a day.
  23. People need to smarten up. Local business trying to keep people safe and survive and NIMBYers shut it down.
