  1. 19 offensive touchdowns through the first five games 4 offensive touchdowns during the last three games Logic says that there have been issues the past few games and people have a reason to express concern. I mean I know that's not how the Internet but still.
  2. I'd love to know who the 6th OL and the extra db are going to be this week.
  3. Is a legitimate to worry about our QB play? yes to me it is. I understand that we rely on the run game, winning the turnover battle etc and that you can win that way but generally the team that wins the Grey Cup has a QB who can go out there and throw for 350-400 yards with multiple tds and as the saying goes take over the game. Let's look at the last 25 years: 2018-Calgary BLM 2017-Toronto-Ray 2016-Ottawa-Burris 2015-Edmonton-MR 2014-Calgary-BLM 2013-Saskatchewan-Durant 2012-Toronto-Ray 2011-BC-Lulay 2010-Montreal-AC 2009-Montreal-AC 2008-Calgary-Burris 2007-Saskatchewan-Joseph 2006-BC-Dickenson/Pierce 2005-Edmonton-Ray 2004-Toronto-Allen 2003-Edmonton-Ray 2002-Montreal-AC 2001-Calgary-Crandell 2000-BC-Allen 1999-Hamilton-McMannus 1998-Calgary-Garcia 1997-Toronto-Flutie 1996-Toronto-Flutie 1995-Baltimore-Ham 1994-BC-Austin/McMannus I'd say you have 2006 with BC using 3 QBs, 2004 where Toronto did rely more on D and the run game, 2001 and 1994 as examples where you didn't have a QB who could go out there and win a game on his own.
  4. Grant with a Player of the Week nod.
  5. Mudruckers, MGEU and the Manitoba Teacher's Society?
  6. 1. Khari was actually over 60% passing in 2001 and 2002. 2. Burris helped Calgary win a cup in 2008 and Ottawa get on in 2016, while also helping Hamilton get there in 2013 and Ottawa in 2016. I'd take him any day.
  7. Does Cauchy give part of his paycheques to Henoc, semi serious question?
  8. One thing that will be interesting will be the return game. Grant was lights out last game and BC has struggled covering returns all season, especially in their past 3 games.
  9. Why? MR is great but likely playing hobbled. Burnham is all CFL but outside of that they don't have much on offense.
  10. So whose the 5th OL if Speller can't go, do we pull Eli off the PR or Darell Williams?
  11. Interesting, helps BC's Dline.
  12. I suspect that the team planned to use Oliveria to spell Harris this year before the injury and for whatever reason won't try it with Augustine.
  13. Harris is a little like Frank Gore in terms of being somewhat ageless. That said, it would be nice to see them give Augustine some touches and for Lapo to get the passing game going to somebody not named Harris.
  14. Ripper made a great point about the holding on returns and on the headshot. I love the big returns and as Dickenson apparently said, I think we're seeing more this year because the NFL is kind of phasing out the kick game so we're getting more of those type of guys and that's great but you have to make the calls.
  15. Nice play by Burnham
  16. Actually Ottawa was 12-6 and lost a close Grey Cup game to Edmonton in 2015 during Maas's only year as their OC. Calgary was 11-7 in 2011 aka Dickenson's first year as OC but they were tied for 1st and had a pretty good offense. As for an earlier post on our total touchdowns, we're scored 4 in the past 3 games.
  17. Hopefully the records of who were connected to him come out. I doubt it but I hope so.
  18. Zylstra is pretty good on teams. I bet he makes the Vikes again based on that. I also suspect he tries to land another NFL spot for 2019 even if cut. On the other hand, he could be BC's 2020 marque signing.
  19. Dom Davis is 30. I don't see him suddenly magically grasping the mental side of the game.
  20. Former Eskimoe WR Bryant Mitchell tore his Achillies in an NFL pre season game tonight. Poor guy, that sucks.
  21. How much of the game has to be played? Hypothetically could a team score a fg on their first drive and then there is a severe weather delay and after one hour they get a win?
  22. So what happens at the end of the year if this win gives the Riders 1st place in the West when without it they would have finished lower?
  23. So Saskatchewan gets gifted a win potentially skewing the final standings and playoff positioning. Great decision. Fire Ambrosie.
