Right now I'm honestly in a Why do I keep supporting and investing in this team moment.

My newest nightmare is that MOS goes to Toronto in the off season and they make Lapo head coach.
-
Can we fire Lapo midgame?
-
Let's do this thing.

What will be interesting to me is whether all of the Republican senators will remain united and backing Trump. I expect the 45 Democrats and the 2 Independents will vote to remove him from office but right now I don't see the 20 senators needed to get to 67 and 2/3s.

All I can say is Go Cats and Go Evan whom I am using in fantasy this week.

I am worried about the Bombers but check back with me tomorrow at 9:30 and I may have a different answer.

I'm aware of how they work. You do know that the company selling them has stated its better not to fly at all. https://www.huffingtonpost.ca/entry/carbon-offsets-airplane-emissions_ca_5d974d76e4b0da7f66259f1a My point was that campaigning on how great you are for the environment and then having two planes is very do as I say, not as I do and that he should be called out more. Just like wanna-b-fanboy made a good point on Sheer and dual citizenship.

This post has triggered me. I am going to my safe space.

The requirement that you must be a natural born US citizen goes back to when the Constitution was being written in 1787 (6 years after the War of Independence ended). The Americans had just finished a war with the British and did not want anybody born in another country to become their president. Basically a reaction to relatively current events at the time and their impact. If you know history, it makes sense. Now should it be changed since we're 230+ years in the future, yep.

So JT whose imposed a carbon tax and is Captain Environment has 2 campaign planes. Why does the media not hammer him on this? Oh wait, they're essentially Hos.

Decent stats in 2017 so what happened to this kid that he's been out of football for two seasons?

On trading for Collaros, all I have to say is

Why bring back a QB who's numbers have declined the past two seasons, will be 33 and just had a serious injury to his throwing shoulder?

After the first td last week, you could see Sayles yelling at Hecht in the endzone. Glad Hecht is out of the Bomber starting wolfpack.

The problem is the current government is following the playbook of the McGinty/Wynne Liberals in Ontario who created the largest sub sovereign debt load in the world. Ontario pays over a billion a month in interest payments on their debt. The current government is also following the path that every federal government took from the mid 1960s until the mid 1990s which led to the Chretien/Martin cuts because of the poor situation our finances were in (remember they were calling the loonie the northern peso and joking that Canada had honorary third world status). Plus we've lost a ton of foreign investment the past 4 years and our productivity isn't growing. All of those are bad signs.

Same OC for 4 seasons and the same issues. Same DC for 5 years and the same issues. People demanding a change are flying off the handle and are irrational?

I dream of a world where every employee of TSN does nothing but dump on the Riders and their fan base along with the Leafs and their fan base. I believe the sky is purple in this world.
-
I think Calgary is the pick to win the West.
-
I think both the OC and the DC need to be let go in the off-season. MOS gets at least another year but potentially going into year 7 with only one playoff win means its legit to question how much rope he gets. I have no issues with Walters. I think Miller has done a good job overall but that he has his hands full going forward trying to rebuild the ST base and on working on ticket sales in general as there are issues with both.

I agree that partisanship isn't always a good thing and that things have gotten worse in some respects but basically politics is always partisan.
-
So how are you going to reverse the past 152 years of Canadian politics which have always been partisan?

I am a little hurt by the Nate reference but like the Rebus one, so I am going to take your advice and have a pint and a whisky.
